~NAMJOON POV~

It's late at night and a very long day.

It took hours to drive here and then we were back out driving around and handing out flyers to the locals about y/ns brother Jackson. I stuck to her skill day though, I wasn't taking any chances in her going missing.

Y/n to cheer her up a little she spoke to me about her brother, recalling their memories of growing up together and how he was adopted when she was three but she doesn't remember a time without him and even with him being a year younger than she is they've been very close. It even made me a little
Jealous but I reminded myself that they're just brother and sister that's all.

We came back pretty late and had dinner which y/ns moms cooked for us and that was very much appreciated even if I did offer to do it myself or even at least order something but no she insisted. Then y/n and I decided to call it a night.

Y/n had fallen asleep very quickly and I put that down to the stress. I cuddled her until she fell asleep in my arms like I do every time we're in bed together. It's kind of sucks that we didn't get to spend our first night in bed at my place officially with her moved in but if other matters arise then so be it.

As I'm deep in thought about his whole situation some things are bothering me greatly. It's niggling away at me and it's even giving me a head ache. I have a suspicious that the midnight pack have something to do with it. They want y/n so why not try and trap her by taking her brother. It's very much possible with their reputation so I'm not ruling it out. That is why I asked members of my pack to search out the areas around where we live but also here where y/ns parents live. This land actually falls on the border just outside the midnight pack so it's easy access and as long as no one in my pack sets foot on their land everything should be fine.

I just need to know if they had something to do with it. I've instructed that if they find anyone from the midnight pack to take them in by any means necessary for questioning. It's not like I can go out and look myself and leave y/n here by herself.

Her parents may still be awake downstairs but still that's not the point. They won't be able to defend themselves and her if a wolf like me shows up to take her. Just the pure thought of that angers me.

My phone suddenly rang from the bedside table next to me. Y/n stirred in her sleep, brows furrowed and she turner around away from me allowing my arm to be free and sit up in the edge of the bed to answer my phone without checking who it was. I just wanted it to stop ringing so y/n wouldn't wake up.

"Hello?"

I whispered as I made my way out the room to the hallway. My highly trained ears could hear both parents still downstairs so I was okay to speak in the hallway.

"Alpha we have news." Hoseok

I straightened up after hearing Hoseoks deep serious voice and not to mention he called me alpha meaning business talk here not a quick hello how are you type of conversation.

"Go on."

"We found someone stalking the house. The house your in now but don't worry we have him in our grasp as we speak and Jungkook and Jimin are taking him back to the pack house as we speak." Hoseok

I lowly growled and walked over to the hallway window that shows the back garden of the property. How did i not notice someone lingering around. Standing there behind the fence could I see Hoseok wave a hand at me and I grunted in the phone to him. Indicting I seen him.

"Good thank you. Take him to the cells on D floor. No one is to say or do anything to him unless I say so is that clear?"

"Yes alpha. How long do you think you'll be before you come back?" Hoseok

I sighed and looked down turning from the window.

"I'm not sure yet but maybe soon."

"I have another thing to say." Hoseok

"Go on."

I whispered to him. He may speak in his normal tone but I have to be careful so I don't wake up y/n or have her parents hear me. It's a small house, much smaller than I'm use to but yet it's homely and warm inside. I like it.

"Your dad has been acting up since you left this afternoon. Yoongi is currently trying to deal with him and distract him since he's asking questions to why your made your orders to investigate the area in more depth and hours away to where you are now." Hoseok

I groaned in frustration and glanced at my watch checking the time.

"I'll deal with him when I get home trust me. I thought I made myself clear last time that he should butt out."

Seriously my father just needs to get a grip of himself. I'm the alpha now I'm in charge.

"Okay but Namjoon can we talk normal now? I'd like to ask you something friend to friend?" Hoseok

"Of course what is it?"

I paused by a picture on the wall of y/n with her parents and Jackson. It looked like a professional picture taken and the two kids maybe around eight or nine sitting on the chairs in front and the two parents standing behind them with their hands i their shoulders. It was nice to see a family unit picture you can see just how happy they are in this. It only makes me think of the family I could have with y/n.

"How are you? How's y/n doing?" Hoseok

He asked in concern, the sense of worry evident in his tone.

"I'm fine just stressed but nothing compared to what y/ns feeling and her family. They're very close so it seems."

"That seems nice but let just hope we can get answers from this guy. He's a stubborn one this one so you'll have fun with him Namjoon I'm sure." Hoseok

His chuckle made me chuckle with him and nod my head into the phone. I'm looking forward to it.

"Yeah that's for sure. Look Hoseok you better go with Jungkook and Jimin. I don't want you by yourself so I'll talk to you later and you just go home."

"I, I captain!" Hoseok

We said our goodbyes and hung up and stuck the phone back in my pocket. Smiling to myself I walked back to the bedroom, hand on handle to push down but stopped when I heard y/ns dad start to whisper yell. It caught my attention, the frustration was noted in his voice and it peaked my interest.

Tip toeing towards the stairs I stopped at the top when I heard their voices in the living room. The bottom of the stairs leads right into the living room and just across from the front door.

"Quin we have to tell her!" Mr Wang

"No we can't! You know we can't!" Mrs Wang

"She deserves to know and you know it! I'm sick of lying to her!" Mr Wang

"We agreed to never tell her." Mrs Wang

"But Jackson is now missing! What else has to happen in order to tell her the truth?!" Mr Wang

Frowning to myself in pure confusion and yet big curiosity I couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about? Do they know about wolves?

"Honey we both know this has something to do with y/n. Jackson isn't missing. He was kidnapped we both know it." Mr Wang

I heard a soft yet defeated sigh from Mrs Wang and I stood there at the top on the stairs listening intently.

"I know, I know. They couldn't possibly of found her have they? My god they took our son just to get to y/n?! Why can't they leave her alone?" Mrs Wang

She began to cry and I heard soft yet fast steps move across the room.

"She's got that boy upstairs. I'm sure he'll keep her safe. What's better to keep her safe from a wolf than another wolf that is in love?" Mr Wang

His words surprised me greatly. He knows what I am, he knows how I already feel about his daughter and yet they both know it has something to do with y/n. If they knew does that mean Jackson would know why he was taken too?

"Just face it love, we have to tell y/n everything we know. It's time." Mr Wang

"But honey I can't. I don't want her to know. What if she doesn't love me anymore?" Mrs Wang

"Of course she'll love you. Nothing about that will change. She's your daughter, our daughter." Mr wang

I heard the scoff coming from Mrs Wang.

"Now look who's lying. You and I both know that our relationship with y/n could fall apart if she finds out that she's not our real daughter." Mrs Wang

WHAT?!

Y/n is adopted too?
