~NAMJOON POV~

I was in no mood to be talking to my dad. I could already tell what he was going to talk about but I was ready to defend my mate in anyway. My dad has expressed how much he disagrees with having a human mate so many times that I'm sick of hearing it. So I'm ready for the confrontation to happen.

Of course after work, coming off the phone to my dad I took Y/n with me to the house and she found Taehyung and Jungkook who were on their way to the kitchen so she went with them while I deal with my father who was waiting for me in my office that was once his. It's mine now since I took over as alpha even if he sometimes forgets his place. He's no longer the alpha he sometimes thinks he is.

After saying a quick see you in a bit to Y/n, I made my way up the large stair case to the top floor where the pack office is and strolled my way to the very room he is waiting for me. I'm in no rush so he can wait for me for the next hour for all I care. I'm already in an off mood because I know what he's going to say.

When I finally approached my office door I took a deep breath and calmly opened the door and stepped inside the office to see my dad standing by the window with his hands in his pockets and clenched jaw. He saw Y/n come with me, good.

"Why did you bring her here again? She's a danger to this pack Namjoon." Dad

I rolled my eyes and closed the door just to remain calm and walk to my desk just to take a seat in the big chair.

"She's no danger to this pack dad and she's my mate so I'm going to be taking her everywhere with me from now on. If anything she is the one in danger and in need of protecting."

I clenched my hand into a fist on the table and unclenched it again. My dad then turns around with frustration written all over his face. He wont be use to be not doing as he says as all my life I had always listen to him but not anymore because I don't feel that power he has over me but I obviously still love him because he's my dad he's just frustrating sometimes.

"That's exactly why she's a danger to this pack Namjoon. She has the Midnight pack after her because they know of who she is to you." Dad

I formed a scowl just to look up at my dad. How could the midnight pack know of who she is to me?

"How? How could they possibly know?"

Dad sighs heavily and comes around my desk to stand in front of it to be positioned between the door and my desk.

"Because the Crystal Fall pack have heard rumours." Dad

"And you just believe these rumours?"

I raised a brow in suspicion. He should know as well as I do that we cant just act or judge by rumours. He's the one that taught me that.

"This information comes from a reliable source." Dad

I scoff with the roll of my eyes not satisfied with the answer he gave me.

"Like who?"

"Anna." Dad

I let out a loud groan to the mention of her name. Sure she seems like a nice girl but too flirty and touchy for me and on the other hand I already have my woman who is currently downstairs waiting for me.

"Dad I know where you're heading with this every time you mention Anna."

My dad steps closer and put his hands firmly on my desk just to stare at me with amber shaded eyes that once use to be red like mine.

"You and I both know that it would best that you be with Anna. The two packs can join together and form one pack to over come the Midnight pack." Dad

"No."

I answered straight away and by the way he is staring into my eyes right now, as alpha I'm taking it that he's challenging me and my wolf inside me isn't taking it very well but I have to keep it calm pr who knows what I'll do.

"What?! No? You dare to say no to me?!" Dad

I took a deep breath rolling my shoulders and cracking my neck to the sides, just to stare deep into his own amber eyes with my own red ones.

"That's right no. Y/n is my mate and I'm never going to reject her. I already accepted her as my mate and I marked her as my own."

I smirked that last part know it'll will bother him the most. Once you mark your mate that is it, no going back and you are bonded for life. My dad's eyes widen and he slams his fists on the desk which made no effect on me what so ever.

"You stupid boy!! I am your father and you should of listen to me!! She will bring you and everyone in this pack down with her!! You made a big mistake in mating that slut of a human that has most likely had more men that she can count! Humans aren't like us!! She'll destroy our traditions!" Dad

I couldn't hold in my rage anymore. He may be my father but he just completely disrespected my mate right in front of me. Letting out a loud growl did I stand up and smash my fist, just one fist into my desk as hard as I could, causing it to crumble under my touch and everything on it to fall to the floor. It was either the desk or his face.

My dad gasped and cowered back towards the door, clearly not expecting my actions towards this but there's only so much I could take.

"NOW YOU LISTEN TO ME NOW! I AM NOT REJECTING MY MATE AND I WILL NOT BE GOING ANYWHERE NEAR ANNA UNLESS FOR PACK MATTERS ONLY!!!"

I stomped my way over to my dad who pressed his back up against the door but turns his head away when I come close, so he cant look at me.

"IM WARNING YOU, IF YOU EVER TELL ME THIS AGAIN OR EVEN IMPLY OR GO NEAR Y/N, YOU WILL NOT LIKE WHAT HAPPENS!! I'M ALPHA NOW SO YOU LISTEN TO ME!! I WILL DEAL WITH ANY PROBLEMS THAT COME TO THE PACK!! NOW FUCK OFF OUT OF MY SIGHT!!"

My chest was heaving with anger, using my alpha voice all at once and I don't usually use it unless I'm pissed and I'm pissed. My dad quickly glances at me and runs out the office door now to leave me alone with my thoughts in my office.

I might regret talking to my dad like that later but he has to know his limits. He cant tell me who I can and cant be mates with. I glance over to my desk and groan to myself because I broke my desk, again.

Shaking my head to myself did I leave my office just to mind link Jimin and tell him about my desk.

"Hey Jimin could you send someone to get me a new desk please?"

He started laughing on the other end which made me smile just a little bit since his giggles can be a little contagious.

"Another on seriously Namjoon? This is the third one." Jimin

I rolled my eyes walking down the long stair case.

"Just please get me a new desk and take out the new."

"HAHA!! Okay, Okay Ill get to it." Jimin

"Thank you."

I shut the mindlink off and walked straight to the kitchen to hear some sort of music playing. I could smell Y/n's scent coming from the kitchen but also Jin, Taehyung and Jungkook were there too. I was curious to what was going on but I found Jin with his back to me as I entered the kitchen chopping up something in front of him. Taehyung and Jungkook were dancing hand in hand to the music, with Taehyung spinning Jungkook in a circle and then doing a dip which was kind of funny to see but in the far corner I spotted my mate dancing, swaying his hips side to side with her back also turned to me.

When she slowly turns around with a wide smile on her face she was looking down at a particular little child in her arms, Yeonjun, Jin's son. The happy little boy was giggling away as he looks up at Y/n's smiling face. It was nice to see her with a small child, I mean I have seen her with Jin's children before but each time is no different. It makes my heart beat faster than usual when I see her, it makes me imagine if we had our own kids together but we only just started dating and it's different for humans that compared to wolves. To think my instincts told me earlier when we were having sex to knot her but I cant do that, not yet. I would get her pregnant doing that.

To be honest when I get my first rut since being mated I don't think I would be able to stop myself so I would have to make up an excuse to not see her for a week. It'll be hard but it's too soon for anything like that.....even if the sight before me melts my heart.

It would be too soon. It's too soon. I remind myself over and over again admiring my mate laughing with the one year old boy in her arms.

Its too soon.
