~NAMJOON POV~

I can't sit still in this hospital room.

I pace back and forth while gazing at y/n's sleeping figure on the bed. She looks so peaceful as if she wasn't just attacked by a werewolf that I caught in time sending my mate was in danger and not to mention her scream the echoed in my ears. I tore that asshole a part for touching her. I couldn't help it and it's not like I cared because I killed the wolf because I don't. Instincts took over to protect my mate and the moment Jimin linked me and told me that they were in danger I ditched Anna without a word and ran to Jimin and my mate.

Screw what my dad thought, I only danced with her because I knew I would of argued with him and it would of caused a scene. Not that I cared it was only y/n that I cared about but thankfully Jimin was with her and told me he was taking her home and then what happened outside.

They were from the midnight pack and after y/n again but what angers me even more was that they were brave enough to cross into MY territory and attack my mate and my pack member who happens to be one of my best fighters. He fought with the enemy wolves very well to protect my mate and I'll forever be grateful towards him for that.

Thankfully what happened didn't gain any attention. I took y/n to the hospital and Taehyung and Jungkook took Jimin to the hospital since he was very badly injured. Yoongi stayed behind to get rid of  any evidence to having been any fight outside the house.

I have a plan on what I'm going to do with those bodies and I'll do it tonight. I'm gonna personally dump their bodies back at the midnight pack as warning. Their after my mate and god knows why.

My dad told me that crystal falls have had an family loss because of the midnight pack and their new leader. All we know is that it's not an alpha but someone that chose to take on the rule as alpha, but I question why they're after my mate.

The question rings in my mind as I pace in the room while Yoongi sits in the corner on a single seat acting as calm as ever. Jimin was in the next room awake but Hoseok was with him checking hes okay so we gave them privacy. Lucky for us this hospital holds our secrets of knowing we're werewolves and so even after Jimin's injuries he'll heal very quickly.

It's just y/n now since she's human and received a concussion from fall to the ground and the massive claw mark going form her upper arm and down her shoulder to her back. I hated the sight of it and it'll most likely scar over as a permanent reminder.

"Joon sit down you're giving me a headache." Yoongi

I ignored his complaint and continued to pace back and forth my sights still rested on y/ns sleeping form. I don't want to take my eyes off her for a minute.

"Namjoon seriously sit down and chill." Yoongi

I stopped at his groan and turned on my heels to glare at him.

"How can I chill? My mate was attacked and Jimin was seriously injured and on our territory too?! There is no time to chill Yoongi."

I spat at him venting my anger. How can he think I could just be calm about this whole thing?
Just wait until he finds his mate then tell me to chill if something bad happens to them.

"I didn't mean it like that Namjoon. I meant just sit down and try not to get too worked up. I know this is all serious and I want to get revenge on the midnight pack for what they did to Jimin and y/n hell I'll even help you tonight with the bodies. Just sit down okay?" Yoongi

I nod hesitantly and sit down next to the bed in a large single chair with a long heavy sigh leaning my head back against the back of the chair.

"What the hell is going on with that pack? Crystal falls don't have a clue what's going on since they just lost someone very important to them. Why do they want y/n so badly?"

I questioned myself looking up to the ceiling feeling yoongis eyes on me from across the room.

"I don't know man. I wish I knew but I don't." Yoongi

"They're watching her all the time and I need to make sure she's safe. Protected."

I turned my head to the right of me to gently brush my finger over her hand that lay next to her on the bed as she slept.

"And we will protect her Namjoon. Like we've told you before she's family even if she wants your mate we all care about her and want to be there for her. I mean look at the state of Jimin, he fought for her." Yoongi

I smiled in gratitude towards Jimin even when he's in the next room and can't see me do so.

" I know and I owe that man my life for what he did. She could of been dead if he wasn't there with her."

The thought of her dead pains me so much that my heart clenches. She's mine, my other half of my very soul and I'd be lost without her. To not see her everyday like I do at work it's hard to imagine. I do desperately want to tell her about what I am and everything going on around her but how would she react?

Would she fear me?
Hate me?
I don't know and I'm scared to take that risk.

"So what are we going to do other than ditch the bodies tonight?" Yoongi

There's only so much we could do since we know so little about what the midnight pack are up to.

"Be with y/n at all costs. We don't know what they want with her but it's obviously something so at least one of us should be with her. Whether it be taking her to and from work, going shopping or whatever else she does. One of us from the seven of us need to be with her. There's no telling what will happen to her."

I heard Yoongi hum in agreement and then a series of updates coming from him as my beta telling everyone else of updates since I was really in no mood to be giving out direct orders because in all honesty I wanted to stay with y/n and nothing else matters.

"What should we tell y/n when she wakes up?" Yoongi

I shrugged and held her hand. Her hand was so small compared to mine since he completely disappeared form view because of my hand covering hers.

"No lies. She'll know it's wolves so there's no lying about that. She doesn't know anything about werewolves existing so it'll be easy. Just to go along with what she says about the wolves."

I looked at him from across the room after dragging my sights from y/ns peaceful resting face. Yoongi hums yet again with a firm nod gripping tightly onto the arms of the chair he was sat on.

Again through the link I could hear the multiple voices again after giving updates on what I requested. None of them were against the idea of hanging around y/n just a little bit more than usual and I most definitely will be. I came to think lately trying to keep a distance from her wasn't doing any good to me so I thought I'd start with being friends as work mates but I have to think of changing that a bit.

I can start doing what I really want to do and that is to get close to her. It be best to keep her safe that way too, to allow my senses around her as my mate to keep her safer.

It's just hiding it from my dad for the mean time and then everything would be planned out smoothly.

We'll see what happens.
