A white rose I am
In the midst of darkness
In the sea I drown
For I am cursed with with blindness

The dark flows into me
And corrupts my being
I have sunk to the bottom
I give up on seeing

I am now a black rose
In a place I was once white
I now lay at the bottom
In a place I once floated
