"How can you not be excited that Halloween is tomorrow?" Jeremy scoffed.

"It's my mom's new thing- she says she read an article on how bad candy is for you and what it's really made of and got real grossed out, so now she's made this healthy alternatives list of what to have instead of candy." Michael pouted as he crossed his arms over his chest, sinking slowly into his beanbag in his basement.

"Ah, come on, man, it's the one day of the year that you get to dress up as anything you want without being judged." Jeremy elbowed Michael in the shoulder.

"Candy." Michael huffed like a child, glaring at the black TV screen.

"What are some of your mom's alternatives?" Jeremy shifted so he was facing Michael now.

"Plum-Pops instead of lollipops,"

"Gross."

"Peanuts instead of Reece's."

"Can't compare."

"Apples instead of carmel apples."

"Aw, now I can't say carMELL apples."

"Oh my god, you dork." Michael snorted.

"I'm more of a geek." Jeremy grinned.

Michael moved to sit beside in the same beanbag with Jeremy, putting an arm over the smaller boy.

"We'll still make Halloween fun, it's a geek's favorite Holiday anyway." Jeremy shyly snuggled up beside Michael.

"This is really gay." Michael chuckled awkwardly with a bright red face.

"Hey, as long as nobody's watching, who cares?" Jeremy shrugged.

Michael suddenly frowned, "I...kind of do."

"Huh?" Jeremy looked up at Michael.

"Jeremy, you know I'm gay, so like-"

"And I'm Bi, so-"

"You're bi?" Michael choked suddenly.

"Uh...y-yeah, why?" Jeremy looked up at Michael.

"Dude that's..." Michals was at a loss for words.

"Gay? Yeah, I know." Jeremy glanced away awkwardly.

"No, no, no- I mean, yeah, halfway, but like...how'd you know?"

Jeremy shrugged, "I've known for awhile."

"Yeah...yeah, of course." Michael shook his head, still in a daze.

"Is...that okay?" Jeremy winced.

"Okay? Jeremy, that's amazing!" Michael chuckled.

"Y-yeah?"

"That's perfect!" Michael beamed.

"Perfect? Why is it- why is it perfect?"

Michael paused, "I- um- dunno'? It just...is?"

"Oh...yeah, 'course..."

"Yeah..."

"Mhm."

"Yep."

"Indeed."

"Absolutely."

"Yeppers."

There was silence for a moment.

"Actually no." Michael cleared his throat.

"No?" Jeremy looked up at Michael curiously.

"No...I- Jer..." Michael sighed and slid away from him, sitting on his knees, "I've been pining for you for the past...god knows how long- I let your little heart worm itself into mine and it hasn't left and I just- I'm really infatuated with you, Jer." Michael ran a hand through his hair, slicking it back.

Jeremy's face heated up slowly, "O-oh..."

"Is...that okay?" Michael looked up slowly.

"I-" Jeremy thought for a moment before smirking but ending up just giving a cute little dorky smile, "Think I have a better alternative for something sweet." He scooted over to Michael so they faced each other.

"Oh?" Michael stifled a laugh at how much Jeremy was struggling to be a flirt in any way.

Jeremy leaned forward and looked at Michael's face quickly before pressing a quick kiss to Michael's lips.

Michael let out a small laugh, "Smooth."

"Sh-shut up! I'm trying..." Jeremy muttered in frustration.

"That's pretty sweet then."
