Error POV
I was on my ship waiting for one of my crew members to tell me that they found something. Anything. But...it wouldn't matter if they did. I'd have nobody to share my excitement with. I sighed as I looked at some maps. Just then one of the crew members came running into my room. "CAPTIANWEFOUNDAVILLAGEANDITHA-" "CALM DOWN!" I interrupted. They calmed down. "ok now SLOWLY tell me what you found." I said standing up. "we found a village and it has food and supplies." said the crew member. "well then go, explorer, it. I'll come to" I said.  They nodded and they weren't lying. The village was full of people and it looked like they were having a festival. One of the village girls bumped into me while dancing. "oh terribly sorry sir i-I'm very clumsy." she said. I looked at her. She was beautiful. With a colorful dress and one of her eyes was a star. "Um...it's...its alright miss," I replied as I walked away to get some supplies and the crew enjoyed the festival. I didn't feel like joining so I went to my room. I heard a gunshot and ran outside. One of my crew members got shot and the villagers screamed. "man down captain." said, my first mate Cross. "oh boy just put him in quarantine." I replied. The girl I met earlier came up to me. "um excuse me but...can I go with you guys? I'm tired of being stuck in this village." she said. "Uh...yeah but what is your name?" I asked. "Ink is my name and before you ask like everyone else yes I am an artist," she replied. "I'm Error." I said. "an...artist?" said Cross. "yes." Ink replied. "and you want to be a pirate? You wanna fight and sail and all that?" he asked. "yes I am stronger than I look." Ink said. "prove it." Cross gave her a sword and got one for himself. "alright." Ink said. Cros swung his sword at her but She dodged and kicked him. He lost his breath and before he could step back Ink grabbed Cross and put her sword by his neck. "impressive." I said. She let Cross go and pushed him towards me. "Cross show Ink to where she will be staying." I said. He nodded and took Ink to the ship.

Ink POV
I stayed in the room that Cross put me in. It was nice. It was nice not to be in a village with no new surroundings and nobody telling me to get married. My parents are gonna be so mad but I didn't care. I'm 18 why can't they just leave me alone? It was really dusty in here. I saw some spare wood in the corner and some hay. I got some silk from my pocket and started crafting a broom. I sang as I cleaned to make the time seem like it was going faster. As I finished I looked at the door to see Error smiling. "Gah! H-how long have you been there!?" I asked. "I dunno about ten minutes," he replied. I blushed. "i-I'm sorry i-I know it was bad i-I know I'm not supposed to I-" he cut me off. "Woah Woah Woah calm down. It was amazing and what do you mean you aren't supposed to?" he asked. I gulped. I took a necklace off my neck. "I...couldn't sing at home because my parents would never allow it..." I said. I threw the necklace to the sea. "why?" he asked. "oh I don't know I was always in my own world id never actually listen to them." I replied. "oh." he said. "anyways what do you need?" I asked. "oh uh i-I just came by to tell you that its almost dinner time." he replied. "oh ok." I said. He looked at me straight in the eyes. Then he grabbed me. "h-huh!?" he then shook his head and let go. "s-sorry!" he said. "it's fine" I replied. He grabbed my hand and started walking. I blushed and followed him. After dinner, I was walking around the ship with another crew member. Her name was Undyne. "yeah this is a good life...just one thing though. Don't upset Cross or the captain." she said. "...why?" I asked. "either one will kill you in a heartbeat...actually depending on how well the captain likes you he might spare ya." she replied. "I'm surprised you aren't his first mate. You seem more...qualified to be the first mate." I told her. "fu huhuhuhu aw mane that'd be fun but he's known Cross longer." she replied. "do you ever get jealous?" I asked. "of Cross? Pfffft haha no way." she replied. "anyway we should get to bed. Tomorrow is an early start." "why? What's tomorrow?" I asked. "tomorrow we look for caves with things we can sell. It's kinda our thing." she said pushing me into my room.

Error POV
I went to Inks room to see if she was ok. She wasn't asleep yet. She wasn't even in her room. "Ink?" I said. I looked all around for her eventually finding her by the telescope looking through it. "see anything?" I asked. She jumped and looked at me. "oh um...s-sorry E- uh...captain I was just looking at the stars." she replied softly. "oh...can I join you?" I asked. She smiled and nodded. "do you know a lot about stars?" "no, but I know how to measure them...I also just find it fascinating to look at them." "they...they really are aren't they." I looked at her. She was smiling as the moon was shining on her. This girl...shes...no...nononono I can't be falling in love! She yawned. "So cute..." I mumbled. "what?" she said. "um nothing." I replied. She smiled as her eyes closed and her head fell on my shoulder. I blushed and stayed there for a minute. Then I picked her up took her in her room and put her in her bed... Then I kissed her cheek and left. "late night walk captain?" Cross asked as I closed the door. I simply just put my finger to my lips. "shhh." then I walked away.

Ink POV
I was up bright and early. I cleaned my room a bit then went outside to look at the water. I saw some fish and some dolphins swimming. "woah..." I said in amazement. I've never seen things like this before. Then I remembered last night. I think...I think I'm starting to fall in love. Oh well. Eventually, everyone else woke up and Error walked by me. "good morning captain." I said. He smiled. "good morning Ink." he said walking away. "how are you so happy in the morning.?" one of the crew members asked. "well I just think of all the things that could happen today!" I replied happily. "I like that idea we needed someone like you here kid. Your honestly the only one happy," they said going to their workstation. I started to help some of the others clean but Error pulled me away and downstairs. "what am I going to do today!?" I asked excitedly. He chuckled. "oh nothing to fun really. I just need your help finding new land on maps." he replied. "it's not exactly fun but it has to be done." "you can make anything fun if you just imagine what it'll be like!" I said. "well then you'll have to show us how to do that." Cross said unimpressed. I rolled my eyes. Cross always gave me that icy stare as if he were going to kill me. I'm probably being paranoid right now but it doesn't matter. I took one look at the maps and chuckled. "what's so funny?" Cross asked. "you can't possibly expect to find anything with these maps. They're thousands of years old and the world changed a lot within a thousand years." I replied. "also these maps are off." "she's right...none of these look right." Error said. "well what do we do?" Undyne asked. I ripped the maps in half then put them with different maps to make them all fit into one big map. I then drew where some caves were and some new countries. "there that's our world right now." I said. They all looked impressed. "how...how do you-" "I actually read." I said before Cross finished his sentence. "um...thanks, Ink." Undyne said. "no problem." I replied.

Error POV
I'm impressed Ink knew this. I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back then looked at the map. I blushed. Her smile was beautiful. After a while, we decided to stop looking at maps and do something else. Before Ink left I grabbed her arm. "yes captain?" she asked. "um...i-I just wanted to thank you for helpin us." I said. "oh i-it was no problem I mean what are friends for?" she responded. We stared at each other for a while. "um...i-I should get back to work." she said looking away. "uh m-me to." I replied. She left. "ooooh someones got a crush." Classic said. "shut the hell up." I replied walking to my room. Of course, he was right. I did have a crush on her. A few hours later I heard a knock on my door. "open." I said. I looked up to see Ink walk in. "ah Ink what can I do for you?" I asked trying to hold back my blush. "Um...I was looking at the map again and there's a cave only 4 miles from where we are." she said. "uh uh that's-that's good ill set a course for it. She nodded and started to leave. "wait!" I said. She looked back at me. "yes?" she said. "um...uh...ugh forget it." I said. She left. "smooth Error. Real smooth." I said to myself. A few more hours later we made it to a cave. Ink, Undyne, Cross, and I all went in to see what we could find. I looked at Ink. She looked scared. I had an idea. "ok we won't find anything like this Cross and Undyne you go left Ink and I will go right." I said. They nodded and went left. "You're scared." I said as we started walking. "y-you can tell...?" she asked. "no but I sense your fear what exactly are you scared of here?" "...this might sound stupid but I'm scared of the...dark" I chuckled. "oh Ink it's completely normal to be afraid of the dark." I said. We heard something fall. Ink hugged my arm tight. "eep!" she said as she hugged it tighter. I blushed. She realized what she was doing and let go. "s-sorry." she said. " it's fine." I replied. We kept walking. We made it to an opening full of ships and weapons. "nice." I said. As we walked forward I saw a pirate from a different crew then another then a whole swarm of them. Ink and I took out our swords. "I see why you were scared now." I said. "let's dance." she said swiping her sword at three of them killing all three of the crew members. I smiled. I started doing the same thing and after a while, we were dodging and killing faster than dust and killer. There was only a few left when one of them tried to shoot me but Ink got in front of me and shielded us with her magic. They shot more until they were out of bullets and ran. Ink let the shield down and fell to the ground panting heavily. I picked her up and ran back to where we began with Undyne and Cross waiting there. "what happened!?" Undyne asked. "I'll explain later."I replied. I took Ink to her room and laid her down on her bed. "c...captain..." she tried to say. "Error." I told her. "E...error..." she said weakly. "yes?" I asked. "I...I love you." she said passing out. I blushed. She...loves me. I smiled hugging her. Then I frowned. "ink...ink your gonna be ok I promise!" I said. Soon I fell asleep hugging her.

Ink POV
When I woke up I saw Error hugging me. I blushed hugging back. He woke up. "Um...I love you too." he said. I smiled. Too weak to say anything it's all I could do. "h...heh..." is all I could get out. He pulled me closer and rolled over so I was on his stomach. He put my head on his chest and hugged me. I smiled and hugged back. I saw Undyne and Cross looking through the window smiling big. " I love you Ink." he said. "I love you too." I replied.
