The Meeting
After a long say of writing about boring crap and reading like she always did, Ink Quill retreated to an 'athentic 80's diner' for a burger, fries, and a milkshake. Ink Quill walked calmly to the counter and rang the service bell. "Yes?" said an absentminded voice. Inkie saw a pink behind, a red and yellow tail and the skirt of a blue waitress outfit. "Burger, fries, and a milkshake, please," said Ink Quill. "Yes ma'am," said the voice. It was oddly familiar. The behind, tail, and skirt disappeared into the kitchen. Once Ink Quill got her food, she saw the face. It was wearing a little makeup, the mane crimped, and there was a primrose in her crimped mane. The shock of this pony's identity sent Ink Quill falling onto the checkered floor. Primrose looked down. "Inkie?" she said in a voice that sounded like she was chewing gum. She's choking up to see me, Ink Quill realised. But Ink Quill didn't say that. "Do NOT call me that," she said instead, pulling herself up from the floor and grabbing her food. Primrose cleared her throat. "Ink Quill?" "Whaddo you want?" Ink Quill snapped. "I thought you'd be happy to see me." "Primrose, I've more important things to do now." While Primrose stared after her, Ink Quill stalked away with her food.
