The next few weeks were some of the happiest of Skye's life. She survived through the day, by texting Robin constantly. She and Robin fit together perfectly.

And then Skye leaves her phone on the table.

"Skye, get over here. Now." Skye's mother yelled
"Yes mother?" Skye whispered, terrified of what would happen next.
"Skye, who is Robin? She keeps calling you Princess." Skye's father whispered. It was almost not heard.
"Robin is a friend. She calls me that as a joke."
"Skye, you referred to her as your gorgeous octoling girlfriend. You can't be dating an octoling girl."
"And why shouldn't I?! She loves me, and I love her! Why can't I just love her?!" Skye screamed, anger and desperation prevalent in her voice.
"It's as I feared. Skye has been corrupted. There's only one option." Skye's father exclaimed
"Of course." Skye's mother replied steadily.
"What are you talking about?!" Skye yelled, her tone steadily going higher.
Skye's mother replied with "Skye, you can't live here anymore. Not when you've been this corrupted. You can return when you've come back to your senses. Please leave now."
"I... I can't believe this. You're kicking me out? For being bi?"
"Yes. Please leave."
So she left. She wasn't allowed to get her stuff, or anything except her phone. She texted Robin.
Skye: Hey
Robin: Hewwo
Skye: Where are you rn?
Robin: By Headspace, why?
Skye: I got kicked out. My parents found out about us.
Robin: Oh no :( come over here. You can stay with me. My parents have been dying to meet you
Skye: Really? Parents that love you? Can't relate
Robin: Princess, just get over here
Skye: K byeeeeeeee

Skye ran over to Inkopolis square and embraced Robin. She ended up crying in her girlfriend's arms.

Skye Inkbrush was in a simple purple dress and didn't have the Splattershot Jr that she stashed under her bed, nor her Turf War gear. It was time for a heist.

Skye's parents went to Inkopolis square, and Robin snuck into the house. She got Skye's stuff and ran out.

Skye Inkbrush was 16 when she was kicked out. It lead her to the rest of her life.
