I'm afraid of the dark
Bogeyman came and left a mark
I screamed,Ma didn't come
Pa isn't here,Ma said he isn't coming home
As I curled up in my bed
The mark bogeyman left all red
Footsteps running down the stairs, coming from within
I screamed again,
It was just mum with the twins
Anytime I close my eyes
I see him,
I wish i could voice out and say I want no ties
My voice so tiny
Couldn't even scare a bunny
At night, I tried going to the toilet
But every time i try,I see him with a racket
I really wanted to pee
He has a scary pet, always on his shoulder, just like a Queen bee
Ma, I'm sorry
You will have to clean the sheets in the morning
He's right there, always staring
Ma,tell him to leave
He's the one with a gamp
I wish pa was here,he could have driven him out with a click on the lamp
He hates the light
Always present at night
Mr Bogeyman let me be
I'm just a child,I want to be free
Stop coming at night, I'm a weakling
I'm now a subject to fear, I'm not bickering
The Sky is clear now, it's Morning
Mr Bogeyman man left,But with a warning
He's going to be back "he said"
I Pray Pa comes back,
At least only he can fight the Bogeyman
Like the Bogey, He's also a Man.
