NO ONE'S POV:

One Month Later

(Superman's friend, Lex Luthor is revealed to have survived the destruction on Metropolis by hiding in a bunker. We see Batman talking to someone.)

???: You were right. It's Luthor. He's alive.

Batman: If anyone could survive that, it would be him. How?

???: He had a speedster on the payroll. Not someone on Flash's level but still very fast. This speedster had one job. Get Luthor to his bunker in an event like this.

Batman: What happened to this speedster?

Days Later

(We see Y/N, as Agent Venom, waiting in a building.)

Agent Venom: [whistling]

Delirium: Are you whistling?

Agent Venom: Yeah. I've got to pass the time somehow until Batman gives the go ahead.

Delirium: What do you think of the team?

Agent Venom: Well, they all seem all right so far. If I'm being honest, it's pretty exciting to be working with actual superheroes.

Delirium: I bet. You have dreamt of this for quite some time now.

Agent Venom: That I have, Delirium. That I have. Though, I don't think Huntress likes me much.

Delirium: And why is that?

Agent Venom: I don't know. Maybe I just rub her the wrong way somehow?

Delirium: I'm sure she'll come around.

Agent Venom: I wish I had your confidence.

(As Y/N's waiting, Hawkgirl flies in & scoops up a dictator from his car. Pan over to Catwoman & Batman.)

Batman: You were right.

???: Yes.

Catwoman: This is it. Are you ready?

Batman: Go.

(Captain Atom flies in behind Hawkgirl & takes the dictator from her.)

Hawkgirl: What--?

(Cut to Y/N shooting to two webs at the sides of the window in front of him.)

Agent Venom: [straining]

Delirium: Slingshot?

Agent Venom: [straining] That's...the idea.

*WHOOSH*

(Y/N slingshots himself & is headed straight for Hawkgirl.)

*CRACK*

(Once he's close enough; he punches her across the jaw.)

Hawkgirl: [groans] That's the best you got?

Agent Venom: Really thought that'd take you out of the sky. Oh, well.

*KRAKOOOOOM*

(She's hit with lightning.)

Hawkgirl: AGHHHH!

(After the lightning; Y/N webs her up a bit &...)

Agent Venom: Take her down!

(Pieces of Delirium go up towards Hawkgirl, wraps around her, & slams her to the ground.)

*THUD*

Hawkgirl: Uhhh.

(She looks at the webs around her then up at Y/N.)

Hawkgirl: This stuff coming out of you?

Agent Venom: Kinda. Don't really feel like explaining it to you of all people.

Hawkgirl: Who are you?

Agent Venom: I'd be more worried about yourself at the moment.

(Huntress & Black Lightning appear behind Y/N. She fires a crossbow bolt at Hawkgirl.)

*TWAANG*

Huntress: Goodnight.

*THD*

(It knocks out Hawkgirl. Pan away revealing Catwoman & Batman were watching this from a building's roof right above them.)

Catwoman: Well, we're in it now.

(Cut to Wonder Woman returning to The Watchtower after putting the woman of Mogadishu in power.)

Superman: Where have you been? Your communicator was deactivated.

Wonder Woman: What's happened?

Flash: Hawkgirl was taken.

Wonder Woman: What? Who?

Flash: It was a team. Captain Atom. Black Lightning and Huntress. There was also someone dressed in black and white with a spider symbol on their chest.

Wonder Woman: Captain Atom suggests a U.S. military involvement...but Huntress? And this person with a spider symbol?

Luthor: I can answer both your questions. The person with the spider symbol on their chest; that is Corporal Flash Thompson aka Agent Venom.

Robin: Everyone's got a gimmick now.

Luthor: It's not surprising that he was seen with Captain Atom. They tend to work together on missions. As for why he's dressed in black and white, I'd like Green Lantern to look more into that.

Green Lantern: Why?

Luthor: Because I have reason to believe his suit is of alien origin. Now, as for the reason why they're all working together; it's Batman.

Green Lantern: Batman wasn't seen at the location.

Luthor: Yes. That's how you know he was there. This is just the start. You're spread too thin. You can't police the whole world alone. You'll be picked off one at a time.

Superman: What are you suggesting?

Luthor: You need more people. I think I know how to get them for you.

(Cut to Catwoman & Batman in front of Hawkgirl in the cell they're holding her in.)

Catwoman: Your intelligence was correct.

Batman: So it seems.

Catwoman: How did you know she was going to be there? How did you know she was going to try to take the leader?

Batman: I can't say.

Catwoman: Yes, you can. You may not want to tell the others. But you can sure as hell tell me. Are you going to keep her locked here forever? That's not very heroic.

Batman: No. I just need her to be here for a week. One week.

Catwoman: They will come for her. They will scour the globe for her.

Batman: No.

(Cut back to the Watchtower.)

Flash: Why are we talking about other people when we've lost one of our own? We need to find Hawkgirl!

Hawkgirl: You don't need to find Hawkgirl.
