God Gene:

A gene surgically implanted in a subject allowing them the proper use and control of injections. It's mysterious origins come from before the Cataclysm. This is the primary gene found inside of D.E.I.T.Y. agents. Not everyone can survive the implementation of this gene into their system.

Project Orbital:

A secret project being undertaken by Syntech. There are whispers around the districts about this top secret mission, but very few details have been leaked to the public. The NHC is working double time to learn more about this mission, and how prepared they need to be to fight back against whatever it is.

The Mother:

Most religions had faded away in the ancient civilization but since the cataclysm, they were all but lost. As pockets of civilization began to rise in the last habitable zones, so too did legends and folklore. Ancient texts describe some form of Mother Nature. She is said to bring good omens to those who pray and support her, allowing humanity to survive in these habitable zones. Those who disrespect her will face the Mother's wrath in the form of harsh storms. "May the Mother's wrath wane."

The Mother is the most popularized religion, its followers believe in treating nature with respect and, with that belief, look to Syntech as their savior. Syntech's main focus is to bridge humanity and technology with nature, a coexistence. Some non-believers claim the religion was popularized by Syntech's board of directors to aid in their conquest of the planet, driving followers to aid in their cause.
