🌒 Ep.4: The Hand That Rocks The Mabel 🌒
~~~~~~~~~Dipper's POV~~~~~~~~~
"The tiger was badly injured in the explosion, but we repaired him with a fist!!" We cheered as we watched tv. "Tiger Fist will return after these messages."
Mabel, (y/n), Soos and I had been watching a new show in the living called Tiger Fist. I'll never understand Gravity Falls tv concepts, but I actually like them.
Soos then pointed at the tv. "Hey look, is that commercial I was telling you guys about!"
"Are you completely miserable?" The announcer said as a man was shown crying on a bed.
"Yes!!"
"Then you need to meet.. Gideon..!"
I raided an eyebrow. "Gideon?"
"What makes him so special?"
"He's a psychic!" The tv answered Mabel's question, making her tilt her head in confusion.
"Aroo?!"
"So don't waste your time with other so called 'Man of Mystery', learn about tomorrow's tonight, at Gideon's Tent of Telepathy!!"
Mabel smiled. "Wow, I'm getting all curious-y inside!"
"Don't get too curious-y." Stan replied as he walked into the room. "Ever since that monster Gideon rolled into town I've had nothing but trouble!"
"Well, is he really psychic?!" Mabel asked with wide eyes.
(y/n) was the first to stand up. "I say we go find out."
Stan instantly hated the idea. "Never!!! You're forbidden from patronizing the competition!! No one that lives under my roof is going under that... Gideon's roof!"
I smiled to myself. "Do tents have roofs?"
"I think we just found our loophole!" Mabel pulled out a tiny rope. "Literally!! Muap muap!!"
"It says they're currently behind Greasy's Diner." (y/n) placed his phone back in his pocket. "We can make it if we go now."
"So come down soon, folks!! Gideon's expecting ya..!" The announcer ended the commercial.
And so, we went to the Tent of Telepathy. We managed to snag some seats on the second row, which was surprising because the place was already packed. The whole place had a weird aura to it, it brought chills down my spine, but I ignored it for the time being.
"Whoa, this is like a bizarro version of the Mystery Shack!" I said as I looked around.
(y/n) nudged my arm, pointing at a handyman with the tag name of Deuce. "They even have their own Soos."
Soos glared at his bizarro self, making me snicker at the sight.
Mabel then smiled brightly. "It's starting!!"
I crossed my arms, expecting something bad. "Let's see what this monster looks like."
As the curtains opened, a young boy was revealed, and I mean young, like eight to nine years young. His hair was bigger than his face, pure white, with dark eyes and freckles over his light skin. He wore a periwinkle tux, and stepped forward with a smile.
"Hello, America!! My name is Lil' Gideon!" He clapped, doves flying out of his hair, making the audience cheer.
I raised an eyebrow, trying to process. "That's Stan's mortal enemy?"
"He's like a toddler!" (y/n) added.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it is such a gift to have you here tonight, such a gift! I have a vision. I predict you'll soon all say 'Aww'!" He turned a rough and looked back at the audience with, what I call, an failed attempt at being adorable.
The audience awed anyway, and Mabel seemed to be falling for it. "It came true!"
"What? I'm not impressed."
"You're impressed~!"
"Hit it, dad!" Gideon yelled over, a man starting to play the piano as he began to dance. He threw his cape at the crowd, a lady catching it, only to be attacked by every other woman.
Jeez..
"Oh I can see what others can't see.
It ain't some sideshow trick, it's innate ability! Where others are blind I am futurely inclined!
And you too can see..
If you were wittle ol' me!"
He giggled, then raised his arms. "C'mon, everybody, rise up! I want y'all to keep it going!!"
To my surprise, I sat up as well without telling myself to, my eyes widening. By (y/n)'s expression, I could see he was just as confused, the two of us exchanging a glance. "H-How did he-?"
"Keep it going!" Gideon pointed at a lady with many cats. "You wish your son would call you more."
"I'm leaving everything to my cats!"
He then pointed at Sheriff Blubs, who had many Gideon plush toys. "I sense that you've been here before."
"What gave it away?!"
"I'll read your mind if I'm able." He walked over to my sister. "Something tells me you're named Mabel!"
He walked back to the stage, leaving Mabel in awe, even though she was wearing a sweater with her name on it! "How'd he do that..?!"
"So welcome all ye!!
To the Tent of Telepathy..
And thanks for visiting...
Little ol' meeeeeee!!"
He danced around a bit more until the music finished, he was clearly exhausted and very sweaty, and the audience cheered, he drank from a bottle of water. "Thank you!! You people are the real miracle!!"
We then walked out of the tent, and I let out a laugh. "Man, that kid's an even bigger fraud than Stan!"
"Yeah, it's no wonder he's jealous." (y/n) continued.
Mabel, on the other hand, tried defending the kid. "C'mon, his dance moves were adorable!! And did you see his hair?! It was like whoosh!!!"
I rolled my eyes with a smile. "You're too easily impressed."
"Yeah yeah!" She poked at us as we walked away and laughed, not really caring about the Tent Of Telepathy as they day went by.
The next morning while I sat at the table, Mabel walked in with a face full of colors. "Check it out, Dipper, I've successfully bedazzled my face!! B-blink!" She tried to blink, though it seemed painful. "Ow.."
I asked in concern. "Is that permanent?"
"I'm unappreciated in my time..."
The doorbell then rang, Stan yelling from another room. "Somebody answer that door!!"
"I'll get it!!" Mabel wiped away all the bedazzles from her face and ran to the door.
I didn't see or hear who she was talking to, but she didn't come back until many hours later.
I shouldn't be concerned though, right?
~~~~~~~~~Your POV~~~~~~~~~
It was around five in the afternoon, and I was in the living room with Dipper, the two of us doing our own thing. That is, until we heard Mabel's voice. "Hey guys! What's going on~?"
Mabel had a very.. peculiar look going on, swinging some long nails in front of her brother's face, who pushed her hands away as he sat up. "Whoa, what happened to you?! You look like a wolverine!"
"I know, right?!" She let out a small roar. "I was hanging out with my new pal Gideon, he's one dapper little man!"
"No offense, Mabel, but I don't really trust you spending time with him." I explained, sitting up. "He gives me creeper vibes.."
"I agree. Plus, I wouldn't trust anyone who's hair is bigger than their head." Dipper added.
She didn't take that too well. "Oh leave him alone, you two never want to do girly stuff with me! You and Soos get to do boy stuff all the time!"
"What do you mean?"
That's when Soos ran in with a smile. "Hey dude, you ready to blow up these hotdogs in the microwave one by one?!?"
"Am I?!?" And the two disappeared into the kitchen.
With her hands on her hips, Mabel let out a heavy sigh, then turned to me. "What, aren't you gonna join in the boy stuff?"
"As fun as watching hotdogs explode sounds?" I stood up from my seat. "I'd rather hear you out. Mabel, are you feeling left out by us?"
"It's just.. you're all boys who like boy stuff, and Gideon likes all the stuff that I like!"
I didn't trust Gideon, not one bit, though I don't know why; I'd barely ever talk to the guy, he just gave off a bad vibe.
But as a friend, I should trust Mabel, right?
"Well, as long as he doesn't do anything bad, at least you found someone with your same interests, right?"
"Yes!! I'm going to meet him again tomorrow, he's taking me to see his dad's abandoned warehouse!!"
"Wait, abandoned warehouse?!" She had already ran upstairs before I could stop her. I take it back, this guy is definitely creepy.
~~~~~~~~~Dipper's POV~~~~~~~~~
Another day of Mabel hanging out with Gideon passed by, and right now, Mabel and I were playing some video game Soos gave us as she explained what happened on her most recent hangout.
"It's not a date date, it's just you know, I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I figured I'd throw him a bone."
"Mabel, guys don't work that way, he's gonna fall in love with you."
"Pfft, yeah right, I'm not that lovable." She then beat me at the game. "Kaboom, yes!!"
"Okay, we agree on something here."
"And besides, what do you know about love? The last time you had a crush was in like third grade!"
For some reason, my cheeks heated up a little. "I-I don't- I'm not- what are you implying?!"
"That's a lot of stuttering, Dipper.. Suspicious..!"
The doorbell then rang, which thank God, and Mabel ran over. As soon as she opened the doors, a white horse peeked in, making her jump back in surprise with a scream.
Gideon sat on the horse with a smile. "A night of enchantments awaits, m'lady!"
"Oh boy."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Later on, we were all at the gift shop, when Stan ran in with a newspaper. "Hey!! What the jackal is Mabel doing in the paper next to that greasy pickpocket Gideon?!"
Wendy checked her phone. "Oh yeah, it's like a big deal! Everyone is talking about Gideon and Mabel's big date tonight!"
"WHAT?!? That little shyster is dating my great niece?!?"
Soos looked up in thought. "I wonder what the new name will be for the power couple! Mabideon? Gideabel? Magibeleon!!"
He threw the newspaper on the ground and stormed back into the living room as I yelled. "I didn't know, I didn't hear about it!! Plus I told her not to!!"
I noticed (y/n) nervously fiddling with his fingers, making me narrow my eyes. "(y/n)....?"
"W-well, uh- I sort of told her that as long as he didn't do anything bad, it was fine....?"
"You WHAT?"
"Whoever warned her or not, it ends tonight!! I'm going right down to that little skunk's house!! This is gonna stop right now!!!" And thus, now properly dressed, Stan left the shack.
Soos turned to us. "Dude, wouldn't it be funny if that was a closet and he had to come back out again and walk out the real door?"
When we all just stared in silence, he walked over and opened the door. "Nope, real door."
A few more hours passed, and there was still no sign of Stan. (y/n) and I sat at the dining room table, both reading my journal, when Mabel walked in with a lobster of all things.
Well, not the weirdest thing she's brought home, to be honest.
(y/n) smiled a bit. "Hey, how was your date?"
"I don't know, I have a lobster now.."
I raised an eyebrow at her response, then went back to my book. "Well at least it's over and you won't ever have to go out with him again." But there was silence after that, and I instantly grew worried. "Mabel, it's over, right? Mabel?"
"BLARG!!!" She yelled, waving her arms around in a panic. "He asked me out again and I didn't know how to say no!!"
"Like this! No!"
"It's not that easy, Dipper, and I do like Gideon! As a best friend/little sister, so I didn't want to hurt his feelings!"
"He's not really a psychic, Mabel, you should tell him how you feel. Maybe then you'll go back to being friends." (y/n) replied, clearly just as worried as I was.
Mabel stared at the ground for a few seconds, then looked up at us with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. "Yeah.. Okay!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
More hours passed; (y/n) was going home for the day, so I went up to my room to read. As I did though, I heard a knock on my door, and grew confused. Stan never bothered to knock before entering, Mabel just barged in since it's her room too, Soos just appears inside, and Wendy never bothers us.
I instantly knew who was there. "It's open."
(y/n) opened the door, rubbing the back of his neck. He seemed genuinely uncomfortable, or maybe it was worry, as he spoke to me. "Hey uh, Dipstick? You may wanna come check on your sister.."
"What? Why, what happened?"
"Well I was heading to the gift shop to get my stuff, when I passed by the living room and.. Well, just see for yourself.." He walked away, and I quickly followed downstairs.
Once there, I peeked into the living room, seeing Mabel pacing in circles with a look of pure terror on her face. "He's so nice, but I can't keep doing this, but I can't break his heart!! Ahhh, I have no way out!!!"
I looked at (y/n), who just shrugged, clearly unsure of what to do, so I stepped in. "What in the heck happened on that date?!?"
"I don't know!!! I was in the friendzone, and then before I knew what was happening he pulled me into the romance zone!!! It was like quicksand!! Chubby quicksand..!!"
"Well, hey." (y/n) walked over to stand beside me with a sheepish smile. "It's not like you're gonna have to marry Gideon, right?"
"Great news, Mabel!!" Stan walked in with a bright smile. "You have to marry Gideon!!"
"WHAT?!?"
At Mabel's screen, (y/n) gripped the bridge of his nose. "Why do I choose to speak. Just why."
"It's all part of my longterm deal with Buddy Gleeful, there's a lot of cash tide up in this thing! Plus I got this shirt!!" Stan looked down at himself. "... Whoa, I am fat."
Letting out a bloodcurdling scream, Mabel ran out of the room as Stan yelled after. "Bodies change, honey!! Bodies change..."
The two of us when went back up to our bedroom, seeing Mabel hiding inside her own sweater, and my heart instantly sunk. She only ever does this when she's really stressed or sad..
"Oh no.. Mabel..."
"Mabel's not here, she's in sweater town..."
"Are you gonna come out if sweater town..?" At (y/n)'s question, she shook her head with a small whimper.
I felt anger gathering inside my chest, and I crossed my arms with a glare. "Alright, enough is enough! If you can't break up with Gideon then (y/n) and I will do it for you!"
"I'll be your bodyguard." He replied while raising a hand with a smile.
Mabel peeked her head out of the sweater. "You will..?!"
I nodded. "We will."
"Oh thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!" She replied while lightly punching us before wrapping us in a hug.
I guess we have a date to crash, huh?
Once nightfall came, (y/n) and I headed to The Club, which as he described, was Gravity Falls' most expensive restaurant. It didn't take us long to find Gideon at one of the booths, and although I was feeling nervous, (y/n) really did seem like an intimidating bodyguard beside me.
I cleared my throat, making him look at us and smile. "Oh, Dipper Pines, (y/n) (l/n), how are you? You look good, you look good!"
"Uh, thanks? Look, Gideon, we gotta talk. Mabel isn't joining you tonight, she uh..."
"She doesn't want to be your girlfriend. She thinks you're being a little too fast with this relationship, and she's just not interested."
"B-but offense!" I quickly added to (y/n)'s explanation.
To my surprise though, his eyes were deadlocked on (y/n), his smile only growing. "So what you're saying is... you've come between us..!"
(y/n) gave a shrug though. "No, not really, we're just delivering the message."
"Hey, you're not like gonna freak out or anything, are ya?"
There was a pause before he answered my question, then smiled once again. "Of course not!! These things happen! Bygones, you know!"
"So okay, cool! So then again, sorry man, but hey, thumbs up, huh?" And so, the two of us left the restaurant, with me looking up at (y/n). "Wow, you really did seem like a bodyguard."
"I technically am. I've saved your life, what, three times now?"
I puffed my cheeks. "I told you to stop bringing that up."
"But it's fun to see you angry!" He puffed his cheeks with a tiny glare, and for whatever reason, I felt my cheeks grow hot for a moment.
"How'd it go?!?" Mabel ran to us once we were outside. "Was he mad?!? Did he try to red your mind with his psychic powers?!?"
I gave a shrug. "Don't worry, Mabel, he's just a kid, he doesn't have any powers."
At least, that's what I initially had thought..
The next day, things seemed pretty normal. (y/n) had just gone home while the rest of us played outside by bouncing off a pillow tied to Soos's stomach.
"Hit me, dude!" We ran over, jumping and bouncing off the pillow while laughing. "Feels good!"
"I'm so glad everything's back to normal!" Mabel said with a smile. However, her expression then fell.
I was about to ask what happened, when we heard the phone ringing from inside. "Your turn!"
"Your tu- aw man..." Puffing my cheeks in defeat, I walked into the gift shop. "Yello?"
"Toby Determined, Gravity Falls gossiper!"
"Oh, hey man! Sorry for accusing you of murder last week."
"Water under the bridge! Say, we wanna interview you about whether you've seen anything unusual in this here town since you've arrived!"
"Ah, finally, I thought nobody would ever ask!!" I quickly pulled out a small notepad and pen. "I have notes and theories! Aha, aha! Four, one, two, Gopher Road. Tonight? Got it!"
This was finally what I had been waiting for, a chance to prove that what I've seen does exist!
Later that night, I followed the address I was given, which led me to ... an abandoned warehouse? Had I taken a wrong turn?
I checked my notepad, remember the turns I took. No, this was definitely the place.
Well, don't judge a book by its cover, right?
Once inside, I looked around. It looked far worse than outside, and gave me a sense of danger I really wish I didn't have.
"Hello?!"
There was no response. Was this a prank call? Was Toby Determined getting his revenge on me for accusing him of murder? I cant exactly blame him if so.
However, as I turned to leave, the lights in the shed began to turn on, setting the spotlight on a chair in the middle of the place. Gideon sat there, with a doll of himself on his lap and an innocent smile on his face.
"Hello, friend."
I rolled my eyes. "Ugh, Gideon."
"Dipper Pines, how long have you been living in this town? A week? Two? You like it here? Enjoy the scenery..?"
"What do you want from me, man?"
His smile then shifted to a glare. "Listen carefully, boy. This town has secrets you couldn't begin to comprehend."
But I was having none of it. "Is this about Mabel? We told you she's not into you!"
"Liar!! She was turned against me!!" He then gripped his tie with a giggle, walking over to me. "But you're not the one who did?"
I was getting worried, backing away. "Are you okay, man?"
That's when I realize that my feet weren't on the ground; I was floating! "What the-?! How are you-?!"
"Reading minds isn't all I can do."
"But- but you're a fake!!"
"Oh tell me, Dipper, does this seem fake to you?!" A bunch of stuffed Gideons and toys began to float around me, the smirk not leaving his face.
Realizing I didn't wanna piss him off, I stopped trying to belittle him. "Okay okay, what do you want from me?!"
"You? Nothing, you're not the one who turned my Mabel away from me." His smirk only grew. "You're just my bait!"
"Bait?!"
With a chuckle, he pulled out a phone and marked a number, which picked up after a few seconds. "Hello?"
No, I knew that voice too well!!
"Hello, Mr. (l/n)! I hope you remember me!"
"Gideon? How did you even get my number?!"
"None of that really matters, I just wanted you to say hi to your little friend!!" He bawled a hand into a fist, and I felt shocks of pain going through every inch of my body, forcing me to yell in agony.
"Dipper!!" I heard him yell in anger through the phone. "What did you do to him?! Where are you?!"
"Come to the Gopher Road warehouse alone in the next hour, and I won't harm another hair of his, okay?"
"NO, (Y/N), IT'S A TRAP, DON'T-!!" I couldn't finish, he had already hung up.
What do I do..?!
Not knowing an answer to my question, I began to struggle against whatever kept its hold on me. "It's not (y/n)'s fault that Mabel doesn't like you!!"
"She'll learn to love me, just you wait, I just need to get that little troll out of the way and-!!"
He was interrupted when the wall exploded open, causing Gideon to lose concentration and drop me, which seriously hurt my side.
My eyes grew wide as I saw (y/n) at the door, but he looked.. off.. Ignoring the fact he arrived within a minute, his breathing was heavy as he glared daggers at Gideon, who had jumped back in fear; and... were his eyes.. glowing..?
"I don't know what made you so angry.." He began, cracking his knuckles. "But kidnapping?! How sick are you?!"
Gideon giggled once again. "(y/n), you're a quick one! Now I can finally get rid of you!!!" Gripping his tie once more, he began to throw things any item around at (y/n), who avoided all with relative ease.
My mind went back to when we fought the gnomes, he was just as agile back them. Wasn't he just thirteen? How can he be so aware of his surroundings, and know so many fight moves? He was just as good at this when we fought the wax figures, and he was just as good using a weapon as he was without. Not to mention he knows a lot of people, and the town like the back of his hand.
Had he done this before..? Just who exactly was he..? And why does he keep saving me..?
"DIPPER!!!"
I snapped back to reality, realizing there were tons of boxes floating over me, and in a panic, I froze as Gideon's voice boomed in the room. "If you won't stay still, I'll just force you too!!!"
It was as if my feet were glued to the ground, the crates falling in slow motion, until they were only inches away from my face.
Yet before I was crushed, a sudden force pushed me to the ground, and my eyes closed in instinct as I heard the boxes fall on the ground, followed by low grunting. When I opened my eyes, they grew wide at the view above me..
He hovered above me, and ignoring the hotness on my cheeks, I noticed his smile seemed force, pain noticeable as he spoke. "Heh, th-this makes four.."
"Wha- a-are you okay?!"
"I'm fine, Dip.." He stood up, wincing a bit, his posture going forward a bit as he helped me up. "Just stay behind me."
"But-!"
"How cute!" Gideon's voice was hurt once more, and the two of us began to float. "But you can't run away from this!"
A pear of large shears were brought out of a box, with (y/n) floating higher as she shears opened. "This is what you get for stealing my queen!!!"
"You mean Mabel?!? I didn't do anything she didn't ask, plus I don't even like her that way!!!"
"ENOUGH LYING!!! I'm tired of them!!" He smirked once again, the shears right in place to cut (y/n) in half. "And I'm gonna make sure you never lie to me again, friend.."
I did what I could in a panic, but I was completely frozen in place. "(Y/N)!!!"
"AHH!!!"
"NO!!!"
Just before the shears cut through, the doors bursted open, revealing an angry Mabel. "Gideon, we have to talk!!"
Gideon instantly grew pale, fear clear on his face. "Mabel, my marshmalla!"
"I'm sorry, Gideon, but I can't be your marshmallow.."
I noticed him grip his tie once more, feeling the air slowly being pushed out of my lungs as he spoke. "I don't understand.."
"M-Mabel!!" I choked out. "This probably isn't the best time to be brutally honest with him!!"
Mabel gave him a kind smile, trying to ease the situation. "Hey, but we can still be makeover buddies, right?"
"... Really..?"
Her smile disappeared as she ripped off Gideon's tie, letting (y/n) and I fall back down as she yelled. "No, not really!! You were like attacking my brother and best friend?! What the heck?!?"
"My tie!!! Give it back!!!"
She threw the tie over in my direction, and I let out a laugh. "Not so powerful without this, are you?!"
Bad idea. He ran over and tackled me, pushing us both out the window and down a cliff!!
I screamed as the ground got closer and closer, but just as we were about to hit, we were stopped by a sudden force. "H-huh?!"
Looking up, I saw Mabel floating down as she held the tie in her hand. Once she landed on the ground, she let out a heavy sigh. "Listen, Gideon, it's over. I will never, ever date you."
"Yeah!" I added before falling on the ground.
Mabel then threw the tie to the ground, stepping on the amulet attached to it, which made Gideon's eyes widen. "My powers!!" His gaze of shock then turned to a glare as he began to walk back into the press. "Oh this isn't over, this isn't the last you'll see.. of widdle ol' me..."
The two of us stayed silent for a bit, until we heard soft footprints, following by a familiar voice. "Is he gone..?"
I turned to see (y/n) now walking over, through at a slower pace, seeing him holding his side.
That's when I realized- ... wait..
My eyes widened. "(y/n), you're bleeding!!"
"Huh..?" He looked down, noticing his bloodstain shirt and hand. "Ah, I'm sure it's fine, just.. a small.. scratch..."
Instantly passing out, I ran over to catch him, not caring as the blood spread to my own clothes. "(y/n)!! Dang it, this is all my fault, if I had just-!!"
"Dipper, now is not the time!!" Mabel ran over, helping me carry (y/n). "We need to get him to the shack, now!"
Hang in there, (y/n), you'll be okay..
~~~~~~~~~Your POV~~~~~~~~~
...
I felt.. heavy for a moment..
I hadn't passed out in a long time, but I guess it was bound to happen again soon..
Still, I didn't expect the softness above and under me.
Was I on a bed? I can't remember the last time I slept on something this comfortable.
As my eyes fluttered open, I flinched at the sudden pain in my side. The memories from when I was last awake were hazy, but I know it has something to do with the twins and Gideon.
I tried to sit up, hissing as more pain shot up my side and forcing me back down, making me let out a groan.
"(y/n)!" I turned to see Dipper walked over to me, worry clear on his face. "You're awake..!"
"How long have I been out for..?"
"Just a few hours.. You were bleeding pretty bad so we got Soos to patch you up.."
"Well, give him my thanks next time you see him.. How do you feel..?"
"Me?! I'm not the one who got hurt!!"
I couldn't help but chuckle, I never took him for the 'Worrying so much about others' type. It was kinda cute.. "I feel fine, Dip.. Just needed a nap.."
"Wow you're stubborn."
I shrugged at that, to which he huffed in annoyance. Though, after a while of silence, he turned to me once again, expression a bit more serious. "Hey, uh.. how did you find the place so quickly..? Gideon had called you a minute before.."
Feeling my skin grow a little pale, I came up with an answer. "I just happened to be very nearby and ran.."
"Nearby?"
"I sometimes like taking walks at night.. It's pretty.."
"... right.." Another few seconds passed, and he then gave me a sheepish grin. "Guess we're even now, huh..?"
"Oh we are far from even."
"Wha- I saved you this time! We're so even!"
"Not even close! We're four to one, how is that even?!"
"You are not making this easy for me!"
"Never said I would."
He growled a bit, and I couldn't help but laugh, though it did hurt my side a little. He laughed a bit as well, then quickly cleared his throat. "A-anyway, I'll let you rest some more.."
"Alright.."
"Sleep well, (y/n).."
"You too, Dip.."
Though he glanced at me for a few seconds, he soon left the room, and I let out a heavy sigh.
It's not that wanted to lie to my friends, but.. they're not ready for the truth just yet..
Thanks for reading!!! 'Till next time!!!
❤️❤️❤️
