"Huh? Hmm." Hazel Slowly opening an eye as she herself wearing a grey jumpsuit before looking at her two guardians in their jumpsuit and looking up seeing a silver service bell with two eyes and a mouth at its base moves into their line of vision in front of a clear blue sky.

The eldest opening his eyes as well. But stopped mid ache, wide eyes suddenly glued to the silver bell floating. That was then Min scream shooting up from the dirty ground as Ryan did the same. The silver bell scream as well as Hazel covering her ears.

"Too loud." Hazel said as she still covered her ears with a wince.

"Oh, whoa. It is, like, way too early for all this yelling."

The boys screams again as Ryan immediately pulling the child close. Min hug both of them by protecting them from a talking bell.

"It's talking!"

"Where are we?" Ryan asked

"What are you?!" Min said Pointing at the bell as she finch.

"What were you doing to us?" Ryan Questioning the bell as
jumped up. "Come near us again and I'll throw my... I'll throw my...giant metal boot at you." Ryan said before looking at his rocket boots.

"these aren't mine."

"Where are my runners?" Min  finding himself wearing metal boots too.

"Pretty rad boots, though." Ryan feeling amaze. That was then Min try to rip the new footwear off but failed. "Uh, yeah. Uh, those don't come off." She said

"Not rad!"

"What are we wearing? Where's my guitar?" Ryan responded rubbing his hair. Min scream as he held out his hand,202 etched into his palm and glowing a lime green. "Aah! What is this?"

"I have it, too!" the same number shining into his face. "Wait hazel, do you have it too?" Ryan ask before looking at Hazel with a panic face. "I do." Hazel said as she show them the number they got as well with the same soft green light.

Did you do this? Min asked the talking bell with a fear on his face.

"Ugh. No! I thought you were, like, dead. I was trying to see if your breath would, like, fog up my face or whatever. The bell said before introducing herself. I'm Kez."

That was then boys look at each other with curious of what to say next. While Ryan held Hazel close to him for safety. Min took a deep breath and speak to introduce themselves. "I'm Min-Gi, This is Ryan and Hazel.

"The last thing I remember is getting on a train and then getting on...a... second... train?" Ryan said as he got confused by the latter half of trying to remember what happened before waking up.

"Yes! And then a bright light! And now waking up here! Where are we?" Min said before looking back at Kez.

"Wow. So, you're, like, brand-brand-new. Cool".

"Are you like a talking bell?" Hazel asked.

"Yeah, pretty cool right? You clearly a type of kid who must be very energetic seeing talking things, aren't yeah." Kez asked as she went look to hazel.

Hazel nodded as she smiled. "Yeah! Could tell us where we are right now?"

"Well, I've never done the whole, like, explanation thing before. Okay. Okay, so, you know how in life you make, like, choices?" Kez asked.

"I guess."

"But there were other choices you could have made, too And that woulda been, like, different?"

"Uh...sure." Ryan said.

"So, it's basically that." Kez said as the boys got confuse once again while the girl staring at her with a baffled expression.

"Is this why you don't usually do the explanation?" Ryan Ask as he got annoyed.

"Okay, so, like, where are you from?" Kez asked as she went close to Min.

"Powell Lake." Min answered.

"Both of you?" Kez said as she got surprise at Min telling her that Min and Ryan living together in Powell Lake.

"I was born in Manitoba." Hazel responded.

"Huh. Okay Well, anyway, you're not in Powell Lake or Manitoba." Kez responded before shaking her body left and right.

"Canada?"

"No! This isn't Powell Lake Manitoba Canada." Kez said.

"America?" Ryan asked with his thinking face.

"Guys, guys, no! This isn't Powell Lake Manitoba Canada America. Why does your house have such a long name?" Kez asked trying to let the Trio's understand on where they are.

"That's not the name of our house." Min answered.

"Apartment, whatever."

Kez try to think on what to do and trying her best to explain to them what's is going on and where they are right now. "Okay. So, it's like... Okay, so, you're in, like, a secret pocket
that opened up in your world, and you, like, climbed inside and it's, like, in the pocket. "Whoa! Here are some keys! Here's some lint! And here's, like, an iceberg or whatever."

The two boys shared confused looks before hazel calmly speak to kez of trying to understand her a little bit.

"Like we're inside a pocket world that's really far from our home?"

"Exactly! See, you getting it." Kez said before looking at Hazel with a surprise face.

"How?" Ryan asked as he arms crossed.

I dunno! What am I, a pocket scientist?! Kez answered which made the Trio's quiet of what to say next.

"Oh, right. Okay, we just met. So, like, for the record, I'm not a pocket scientist. Kez responded before looking back hearing a another screaming from another icebreg of three alien fishes angrily away from them.

"Get back here, Kez! You won't get away that easy!"

"Oh, right. I was being chased." Kez said as she remember before she met the others.

"You forgot you were being chased?!" Ryan replied.

"Well, I got distracted by you three corpses." Kez replied while the other side where two alien fishes mining a ice rock.

"We're gonna make a raft, and when we're done with you, you'll be nothing but particles! Your little passenger friends, too!" The first Alien fish said angrily yelling away to kez.

"Oooooh, you guys are in trouble."

"We're all in trouble!" Ryan yelled at Kez angerily. The child looked away as ryan yells at Kez while the elder putting his hand on the girl's shoulder to Calm her.

"Right. Okay. So, they're, like, probably mad the car isn't, like, warm anymore." Kez replied.

"This was a warm iceberg?" Min asked.

"Nah, man, that's a different car. Come here."

Kez leaded to the way of where the it all started. Ryan Min and Hazel follow her as Ryan took hold of her hand so she won't get lost. They found a double arched doors. They are red in color, with gold handles in the shape. There, there were a red and blue circle shape thermostat that was stuck inside an ice square.

"So, this thing that was next to the exit door... I thought it was a vending machine. Tsk. I wanted some gum."

"You can chew gum?" Hazel asked.

"I guess I'll never know now, will I?" Kez answered.

"Uh, how does it work?" Min mused.

I dunno. I tried to use it, and it just got, like, super cold.
Like, everywhere. And then those fish were, like, pretty mad. Ah! Whoa, dude!"Kez explained before Ryan hit the door so hard that made Hazel flinched. "This is crazy!" Ryan said angrily.

How do we even get home? I'm supposed to start uni in September. Min said worrying about not being at home getting ready to go to uni.

"Wow. Huge tragedy."

Min's eyebrows furrowed before looking at Ryan. "What?"

Nothing. Ryan lied.

"Nothing!"

"Fine." Min replied as he crosses his arms before looking away.

"What?!" Ryan said.

That was then They got they're attention on Hazel with her crying eyes wet with tears. "P...plz stop fighting. I'll...I'll be good and behave, i promised." She said softly before looking down.

"Oh boy, just made the Kiddo cry." Kez replied.

Min looked on with worry face before he look at ryan If he and Ryan were screaming their heads off awoking up in a strange place with a six year old having no idea where they are and thinking it's her fault for starting the fight. Min really wanted to make his parents proud but thinking that they kept pushing him so hard on his dream instead of becoming of musician with his own best friend. Mostly, Min was scared a little of being a father one day too. He wasn't ready being a father and kept thinking that he'll mess up and ruin everything for his child.

Min bit his lip hoping that he wouldn't mess up as he went to Hazel's side and kneeled to catch her gaze. "No hazel, You didn't do anything wrong. It's just personal things that me and ryan are working on right now. So don't be sad, It was never your fault." Min softly wiping away one of her tears.

"Are...are you and ryan gonna leave me?" Hazel asked.

"What, no! We're not gonna leave you. You're only a kid. So until we get back home, we're going to take care of you."

She looked to him with hope in her eyes. "Yea?"

"Yeah, promise."

Hazel responded with a tight bear hug and a bright smile. Min was surprise which made him fell but return the embrace. That was Min stand up along with hazel holding her hand.

"Wow, that very emotional". Kez replied as she saw everything that just happened.

Min sigh before turning to the others. "Whatever. Let's just figure this thermostat out before those Parka Fish get here so we can get her out of here," Min said sternly before turning to hazel.

Ryan pulled the thermostat out of the ice. That then Ryan rotating the yellow part turning to the blue side that changes the era of the car from a lava-like setting.

"Aaah! Too warm!"

The other side were screaming Parka burning rock. "Cool!" Kez said amazed.

Ryan pulled Hazel with his protective arm close to him so she wouldn't get burned. Min try to open the door but there lava covering the door. "Dang." Kez replied. Min grab the thermostat from Ryan so he can change it. "Let me try.

"What, like you'll know how to use a magic thermostat better than me?" Ryan asked with a hint of annoyance before changing it into a jungle setting. Hazel eyes grow wide-eyed as she sees some animals in a jungle setting.

"What?!" Ryan yelled before the to pulled the door but there vines was stuck to the door. That was then Min got something in his mind of what was happening. Min turn the thermostat back to the lava, icebreg, and now back to the jungle. "What are you doing!?" Ryan said before looking at him.

"Ryan! This isn't a thermostat! It's an era... stat or something. It's changing the geological eras! Like we're watching them go through evolution! Min explained as he finally figuring out a puzzle of the car.

"What are you, a dial scientist?" Ryan asked as he rolling his eyes.

Hazel giggles before she spoke "I think is fun learning about science."

"Oh, dang! This whole time I thought you guys knew each other."

"We do." Min replied.

"But he doesn't know what you do for a living? Kinda weird." Kez said before hearing the three Parka Fishes turning into lemurs like form swinging on vines before one fell to the ground angrily ready to attack Kez and the three passengers.

They all scream as Ryan grabs Hazel picking her up before running along with Min and Kez. They ran as fast as they could and jump onto a log so they can hide from them. They all let out a sigh, only then Min realizing the era-stat in a piece of wood before turning to Kez, Ryan and Hazel "Is everyone okay?"

"From being chase by lemur,then yeah" Ryan answered helding the child into his arms. That was then all four look up seeing if the lemurs was still chasing them and yet they still are. They all stand up stepping back while Ryan taking Hazel with them. The lemurs jumped on the log and ready to attack them all of them scream before Min changed the era-stat to the red side into another jungle setting. Everyone look up seeing what's happening until seeing the Parka denizens turning into a tribe of Gorillas. Tho, their tight-fitting coats they can not move there arms.

Ryan grab Hazel hand as they all started running again to the tree trying stay balance so they wouldn't falls. "Aaah! Oh, you think it's funny to scramble our DNA?! This will be nothing compared to what you will suffer. when we catch you! Your atoms will go nuclear! Your cells will implode!."

The Parka Gorillas was still chasing after them but they can't move well due to their coats which making them using their legs to walk. "They sounds like they're angry at us." Hazel noticed feeling like it's her fault.

Ryan pulled Min up where him, Hazel and Kez is. "Okay, you're right. It's an era-stat! Gimme!" Ryan said snatching the era-stat from min's hand.

"Hey!"

Ryan change the era-stat again into the red side again and suddenly change apocalyptic desert setting. "Ah, too far in the future!"

"You're the one who changed it this time!" Min said angrily at ryan.

I wasn't accusing you! I was just saying! Ryan said before looking back seeing the Parka denizens turning into become a sort of "psychic deity".

"We are the One True Thought. We know all. You have angered the One True Thought and must be eliminated." The Three one true thought said floating in the air. "Whoa. They know all." Kez said before floating to them and about to ask them a question.

"Hey, One True Thought, can I chew gum"? Kez asked.

"Yes." They Answered.

Oh! What flavor should I try first? Kez asked again.

"Grape."

Oh. Um...You know what? I'm good. Kez replied before being attack by their laser-shooting eyeballs with increased intellectual ability. They started running again before sliding down when Min crouched down letting Hazel getting on his back so she can be safe with him. Hazel was scared that her face was buried in his hair to avoid looking up. They still continuing attacking them. Min was terrified along with hazel worrying what's gonna happen to them if they die and seeing a six year old girl dying.

" What do we do?! Min said shouted on what to do in the situation they're in.

"We've tried everything! Too far left, and they're rocks! Too far right, and they're eyes!" Ryan said before Min grabbing the era-stat to change it again but Ryan grab it so he can change it too. "G-Give it to me!" Min said grabbing the era-stat.

"Stop acting like you know more than me!"

"Stop acting like a child!" Min said shouted, grabbing the era-stat back to him but Ryan pulled back to this side again and again and again. Which made the setting changing again while Hazel watching the whole things changing. Then everything stopped when the era-stat was done changing.

Hazel reluctantly look up with wide eyes as she gasp. "Look!"

The two stopped their squabbling as they look at the era-stat before looking up finding themselves into a Big futuristic large city that look like they're in a future. Hazel eyes was amazed before looking up to Ryan and Min. "This look like we're in a future!"

"Yeah, I kinda does" Ryan said as he look at the era-stat along with Min.

"Oh, yeah! This is what it looked like before! The dial thingy was in that." Kez replied as the others look at where era-stat were supposed to goes in the vending machine. Min lower himself so he can let Hazel off.

"The blue went into the past, and the red went into the future." Ryan said ignoring his friend's smug face.

An excited smile spread across her face,the child turning to Ryan while hopping in place. "Can I put it in?"

"Sure," He answered before snatching the era-stat from min's hand again and giving it to hazel. Hazel grab it and put back to the vending machine while Min pinched the bridge of his nose with a tired sigh.

"You four are unbelievable!" the pursuers revealed to resemble regular aliens. All of them was quiet for a second before hazel said something. "We fix it."

"We didn't know, and, in Kez's defense, it does look like a vending machine." Ryan replied.

"If you didn't start in the Ice Age, why have you been wearing parkas this whole time?" Min asked.

We were about to leave for a ski trip, not that it's any of your business! Female parka alien said angrily grabbing her skin from the van. Then one of the Parka alien pop out of the van. "We've got a different trip in mind now, though. One where we come over there, re-program the Eon Oscillator to control your evolution, and send you back to the darkness of time!"

That was then all three Parka aliens got out of their car and running to them to attack them once again. "Okay, door, door, door, door!" Ryan shouted before reaching for the door,turning the handles with a grunt. They split open,revealing outside the car where the eldest holding Hazel's hand as they ran. Meanwhile, the Parka aliens was about to attack Kez.

"Uh, so, sorry about this and all, but, like, can't have you chasing us, so...Kez replied before reaching the era-stat from the vending machine.

"Kez! No!"

It was already too late, Kez turn the era-stat spinning around in circles changing the evolution once again."Oh, come on!" One of the Parka alien said only silenced when shut the door that led them to the outside of the car.

"Wow. That was...I mean, man. Right?" Kez replied before looking up seeing three passengers staring out into the distance. It was a desert of cracked earth all that surrounded them. The sky was blocked by reddish clouds, the only other thing residing in the wasteland being the long train.

"What?"

"We're still on a train?!" the eldest said with a panic face before looking at kez.

"Uh, yeah. Remember? I explained that." Kez answered.

No! You just said we're "in a pocket"! That was it! "In a pocket." Ryan said, looking to her with alarm angry face helding the child close.

"Oh. Well, you're in a pocket, and you got here by, like, getting on the train. And you have to learn lessons and stuff, and get your number down to zero. Otherwise, the train won't let you off."

"Lessons." Hazel responded.

Yeah, 'cause you were, like, screwing up your lives and junk.
Never heard of three people getting on. at the same time, though. That's wild. Same number, too. Wild. Kez responded looking all three looking at their numbers in their plaim.

"Will....will we get back home?" Hazel asked before looking up at ryan with her cute sad expression.

Ryan were worried about what to say next, All he did is he put his hand rubbing her hair to gets her hopes up getting back home safely. His friend looked to his hand, two hundred and two still glowing brightly. He glanced back to Ryan calming her down. "You brought the tickets."

"Dude, for the normal train!" ryan quickly responded before looking at him. "I didn't go to the metro station and say "Hi, three tickets to the wormhole judgment line."

"Well, I definitely didn't have anything to do with this." Min snapped as he crosses his arms. "I was having a totally normal night at Dumpty's when...

"You working at a Humpty Dumpty-themed restaurant is anything but normal." Ryan countered.

"Wow. And you guys are mortal enemies, too? What are the odds?"

Ryan looked to her with a confused expression. "What?!" We're not enemies."

"Ryan is my best friend." Min said.

"Yeah."

"Then how come you guys keep fighting like you two don't wanna be friends anymore." Hazel asked softly.

"Thats what best friends do sonetimes."Ryan said with a smile before crossing his arms. Could two bestie have figured out that dial thing together?

"Well, I mean, yeah, cause you didn't figure it out so much as, like, fight over it until it randomly fell into place."

We weren't fighting. Ryan assuring them.

"Yeah. We were just...Min said, hand resting on the back of his neck before looking up smiling at them. "I don't know. We were just talking."

"Totally. It's just that...just Adult stuffs. they're frustrated sometimes. Ryan said with his parental wisdom calming the younger one down.

Yeah...we'll get over it, Min replied.

"Promise." Ryan smiled at the girl but Hazel look away with her sad face where she let at unsure hum. They both shared a concerned look before one of them came with an idea.

"Hey hazel, You what I'll do if I see someone sad" Ryan asked.

The child looked up, wiping an eye after her last sniffle. "Huh?"

Ryan grab her hand and pulling her into his arms as she let out a squeal before he tickles her making her laugh. "They get some tickles from the tickle monster!"

Min watches Ryan tickling Hazel with a sweet smile on his face. It would be near impossible to see both of as anything other than a happy father-daughter bond they had together. Thinking that a little girl that want to spent with them for a while thinking about if her parents are worry or someone looking for her back at home. Min was afraid to mess up or making a mistake being her new guardians until they get back home. Though, He wish he can be like his parents who made his life good and did a great job raising him well. Ryan started putting Hazel down as he finished making her smile again while Min smile fell and turn into his lonesome frown.

"Okay, you know what"? Let's not stress about dials or trains
or numbers or anything. Let me just take you back to my place, and we can chill." Kez replied as she got the three passengers attention.

The two boys look at each other before looking at Hazel. Both of them tired sigh while one of them put their hand over Hazel's shoulders.

" Cool, cool. You'll meet my roommate, Morgan. It'll be great. Good. This is good!" Kez replied.

"Is she Kind?" Hazel asked.

"Yea, you'll like her. She's super cool and awesome. Cause', like honestly, in my opinion, Sometimes numbers are a part of the problem. not the solution, you know?" Kez replied.

"What are guys say, can we go?" Hazel asked before looking up at ryan and Min bouncing.

Both of them got their tiring face before Min look at her with a smile on her face that reminded him of his best friend when he smile too. He let out a igh, arms crossed. "Alright, But just until we get back home, we figure out this "lesson" stuff in order to get our numbers down." Hazel started bouncing around with excitement as Ryan did with a cat like smile to his friend.

"What?"

"See, you got this. Stop pressuring yourself too hard, you'll do great." Ryan said as he put his shoulder around him as he smile.

"Y...you think so?" Min asked

"Definitely" Ryan answered as Min blushes but He quickly shook it off, hoping neither of them couldn't see him blushing. Though, Hazel saw it as it felt like seeing two adults discussing about their feelings or arguments that they been doing something. Though, she's hoping this could last forever and go back home living with her cool new guardians who are rockstars.

"Yeah, you get it. Okay, come on."

"How far is your place, anyway?" Ryan asked before they all started walking to the car.

"Eh, just a couple dozen cars back."

"Does that mean there are more cars with more people out to get us?" Min asked helding Hazel's hand.

"Ah, nah! Most people are super chill." Kez replied.

"Wow, that's sounds like everyone knows you like a cool girl." Hazel replied before reaching for the door,turning the handles with a grunt. They split open,revealing a Old west car where immediately confronted by insects Cowboys aming at them with their guns. Ryan quickly grabhazel, pulling her close as he stood with an arm shielding them both. Min pulled his arms up like he's in trouble by a cop but instead it was cowboy insects.

"Well, if it ain't our ol' friend, Cactus Kez..."
