Chapter 4: A Night of Mistakes

This is awesome! Flying around the world, helping Tooth, and being close to Elsa again, it was like a dream come true, I haven't had this much fun for years. I look next to me to see Elsa flying her wings tucked back and her hair flying back. I never saw anything so beautiful before, sometimes I wonder if I'm falling in love with her because I am in love with her or because she is the goddess of love. She looks over at me and a smile goes across her face. "Hey Frost, you want to play a little game?" She asks making me raise an eyebrow, "What are you thinking Elsa?" I ask as she stops right in front of me. "I bet I can get more teeth then you." She says and crosses her arms. I feel a smirk go on my lips, "What are the prizes?" I ask and move close to her.

"What do you want?" She asks. I move close again, inches away from her face, "You'll find out when I win." I say and fly past her. "Hey!" I hear behind me as I reach the first house quickly grab a tooth, put a gift underneath and flew off. I felt like I was always two steps ahead of Elsa which felt great, but playing this felt familiar to me, like we done this before. I shook the thought away as I land in another room to see a small boy lying in bed covered up to his head. But also in the room is Elsa, she turns to me and glares, "No way Frost, this kid is mine." She says and starts to reach for the tooth when I see someone grab her hand, "Sorry mate, but his mine." I hear the thick accent of Bunny.

"Bunny, I think you are mistaken, this tooth is mine." I hear North as him and Tooth joined us in the small room. "No, his tooth is mine, Elsa and I have a bet." I say as I look at Elsa who is looking at Sandy who just looking in the bed. I turn my head to see the boy is awake and he is staring at us all. "No... Way." He whispers as Elsa steps back and joins me. The boy looks at Sandy first, "Sandman..." He whispers as Sandy smiles and waves. He turns his head to North and Tooth. "Santa and the tooth fairy." North laughs and crosses his arms. "Hello sweetie." Tooth says as the boy looks at Elsa, Bunny and I. "Cupid, and the Easter bunny, you're all real!" The boy says and starts to jump up and down on his bed.

"I can't believe it, he can see us..." I say. "Well, most of us mate." Bunny says and I realized, he didn't see me. I lower my head as Elsa wraps an arm around me, "I'm sorry Jack..." She whispers. I wanted to say something back but North beat me to it, "Sandy, I think we need to give this boy some sweet dreams." We hear as Sandy starts to make a sand ball in his hand. "Wait! I have so many questions!" The boy yells as Sandy steps close but stops when a small dog jumps in front of the boy and Sandy and starts growling at him. "Better be careful Sandy." Elsa says as I hear someone huff.

"Please, look at the little thing, he would be easy to put asleep." Bunny says and takes out his boomerangs and steps forward. "Do you know what kind of dog that is? It's a greyhound, as in he hunts bunnies." I say but he just rolls his eyes, "Frost, I am much faster than this little fur ball and I'll teach you how we..." I stopped listening as I move over to the bed and hit the alarm clock on the nightstand making it go off and the dog bark at Bunny who yips and starts bouncing around the room. The room because crazy, everyone was yelling, the dog was barking and North was trying to make Sandy throw his sand. "Sandy! The sand now!" He yells

Sandy tries to aim at the kid but instead hits the dog which makes the sand ball start going all over the room. "Hit the deck!" Elsa yells as she goes on the ground, grabbing me and pulling me down with her. But when I fell, I fell right on top of her, pinning her down. "Ouch! Frost!" She yells and looks into my eyes; I see her cheeks start to get red the more she looks at me. For a moment, I saw something flash in my eyes, a picture of Elsa like this but her hair is brown and shorter and her eyes weren't the blue I know and love, they were a soft green. But as quickly as the image come, it was gone and I was looking at the Elsa I know again. "Sorry..." I whisper as I lay on her more, I really don't want to move but I hear Elsa clear her throat, "You should move..." Elsa whispers so low that I almost didn't hear her like she didn't want me to hear it, but I nod and stand up and give her my hand and help her up. We look around to see that everyone is asleep but Elsa, Sandy and I.

"Wow..." I say as I look at Sandy who just shrugs. "Well... I guess that's it for the night." Elsa says and giggles. I start to laugh with her until I see something in the window. I see one of those black sandy horses that Pitch made. "Hey!" I yell as I run to the window and feel the wind take me. "Jack!" I hear but I just keep flying trying to keep up with that horse. I see it start to slow down on top of rooftop I land and see that horse go up to the man who started all of this, Pitch Black.

"Hello Frost, so happy for you to join us." Pitch says as I raise my staff and step closely to him. I feel frost start to go under my feet. "Give Tooth back her fairies and the children's teeth, now!" I say, the end of my staff frosted over. I watch as Pitch lowers his head, a smirk on his face, "Oh, Frost, you really think I would just give you back everything I took because you asked nicely? No, that's not how it works." He says as he disappears into the shadows. I start to turn around as I feel something creep up behind me. I quickly turn and put my staff up to someone's neck.

"Whoa, Jack it's me. Lower the weapon." Elsa quickly says as she put her hands up to showing she came in peace. I lower my staff, I was about to say sorry to her when Elsa quickly takes her bow and pushes me out of the way, "Watch out!" She yells as she aims and shots. I turn to see Pitch block the arrow and it lands right in front of us. "That... That's not possible." Elsa whisper as she looks at her bow. "Your weapon can't hurt me dear Cupid, I am powerful." I hear Pitch as he stand on a black cloud above us. I tighten my staff and was about to fly up when I see a golden sand hit Pitch sending him flying.

We look up to see Sandy fly by and stop where Pitch flies at. Pitch moves the back of his hand over his lip and smiles, "Finally, someone worth of fighting!" Pitch yells as he starts to throw more black sand at him. They start going up higher in the skies, almost away from us. "We have to go help Elsa." I say as I turn to Elsa to see her on her knees still holding the bow in her hands. "Elsa?" I ask as I join her, I reach for her but she just pulls back "Don't worry about me." She says still looking at the bow. "I can't just...." But she looks up at me stopping me, her eyes were different. One was still blue, but the other, a light violet was starting to push through.

"Please just go Jack; Sandy needs you, I... I can't help." She whispers tears going down her face. "But Elsa... You're eyes..." "GO!" She yells her scream booming making me step back and fly off. I don't know what was going on with Elsa, but something was wrong and I need to figure it out but right now, she's right I need to help Sandy. I start to fly closer but it was hard when Pitch start sending his black horse at me trying to slow me down. I start to fighting them off when out of nowhere, a sleigh goes through the horses breaking them apart and giving me a clear view of Sandy and Pitch.

I really have no clue how North is driving the sleigh half a sleep but right now I don't care, I just start go Sandy and Pitch as fast as I could. "You know Sandy; this would go by so much faster if you..." Pitch raise an arrow just like the one Cupid uses. Sandy was too busy fighting off the sand monsters that Pitch was making he didn't even see the arrow. No, no, no! Go faster! I thought to myself as I start to push faster. Pitch is taking aim at Sandy now, his back turned, "If you were out of the picture." Pitch says as he shots.

It felt like the world around me went in slow motion, the arrow hitting Sandy in the back. I stop as the world around me stop as the black sand starts to take over Sandy's body until... he was gone. I hear a scream echo though my thoughts and it was mixed in with mine as I fly faster than I ever have to Pitch my staff fully frost now. "Oh poor little Frost lost his friend, want to get revenges Frost? Fine, have at it!" Pitch yells as he throws sand at me but right when it hits my staff, it starts to freeze over making it build up. "No..." Pitch says slowly as I move my staff and the frozen black sand explodes and pushes Pitch back away from me.

I feel my energy start to drain as I start to go back to the ground, but then I start to fall not feeling the wind around me to catch me. "Whoa, Jack." I hear as I feel some arms grab me helping me stay up again. I look to see Elsa, her eyes back to normal. "Elsa? Are you..." I couldn't even finish it as she put her finger to my lips, "Don't, okay. Let's just get you to the ground and home." She says as we land on her father's sleigh to see everyone is still asleep, they don't even know yet. "Who is going to fly..." "Go!" I hear Elsa interpret me as the sleigh takes off into the sky, back to North's home.

Hey guys! Sorry for the super later update! But I'll try and work on this story a lot more now! But I'm also working on remastering one of my old stories I wrote a very long time ago.
