It was after many years
When I had last seen You
Or spoken to You.
You kept calling,
But I just couldn't hear you
—Or maybe I just refused to?

At that precise moment,
When I had come to the end
Of my power and might.
I saw You right there.
Just standing and smiling,
Gazing at me with such pure love in Your eyes
Waiting patiently for me to open up.

You spoke to me
Without using words.
And awoke desire in me
With just a look.

Abba,
It's been a long time coming
But I am ready.
