When the worship starts,
I stand still as one without bearing.
But before I know it,
I hear the tapping of my feet
And my hands stray from my sides to over my head
All in time to the rhythm
As my fingers wriggle along to the beat.

My head turns from side to side
Searching for the sound
And following the trail picked by my ears.
My eyelids abandon all reason
And slam shut
With my forehead forming music sheet-like wrinkles

My lips place words
Articulated by my brain
My entire body forming never-seen-before movements
In a spirit-art form
Called dance.

(I dance in worship
And praise of the One
Who loves me and
Gave Himself for me.)

Hi, everyone!! Oh my! It's been a long while, but I'm back now.

This poem is like "Worship" in my other poetry book, "Beyond".

Dancing before the Lord is more than moving in time with a beat, it's the position of our hearts in worship and praise to God. We dance before Him, not just because of what He has done for us, but because of Who He is to us. Irrespective of whatever stage or season we are in our lives, we should always dance before our King in worship and praise of Who He is. And do you know Who He is? He is good, loving, kind, great, the Almighty, the Consuming Fire, I am that I am! And many more.

And you know what? You cannot worship or praise God beyond the revelation of Him that you have.

Let's dance before Him as Psalm 149:3 says, and like David did, with all reckless abandon! God is worthy and deserving more...
