Your POV

I cracked my knuckles as I waited to be introduced. Ichika was introduced first and I was waiting patiently for my name to be called. I couldn’t keep still and I was really looking forward to burying Ichika into the ground.

“What are you so nervous about?” I heard Rin’s voice behind me

“I’m not nervous.” I stated and turned to face her, “I just really can’t wait to beat his ass.”

Rin smiled as she walked towards me.

“Well there’s no need in wishing you luck since you’re going to win anyway. We’ll be cheering for you.”

“I know my little tsundere.” I smiled before placing a quick kiss on her forehead

“Hey! What was-”

“And now for Y/N L/N!” I heard the announcer shout and I summoned my IS before flying out of the waiting area.

My eyes narrowed at Ichika as he sat there with a full on smirk. He twirled his Yukihira in his hand as the announcer counted down. As soon as he said go Ichika charged at me. I knew I wouldn’t have worry that much about his abilities since he was still a newbie at this. Just like I expected he was converting his shields to be able to do his Reiraku Byakuya, or his one off ability. With each swing he took at me I could tell that his sword was gaining power. Although his defensive capabilities are dropping tremendously. I activated my shield as Ichika swung at me again. He didn’t completely stop his sword, but it was able to slow it down enough. I grabbed his Yukihira and kept him in one place as he tried to pull it out of my grip. My wings extended and I began to charge up my energy blasts.

“Silver. Focus all beams on the target in front of us.”

Ichika’s eyes widened but it was too late. I unleashed a fury of energy blasts and he desperately tried to shield himself. It didn’t work and once my barrage was over I threw him into the ground. I could tell his shields were in the red and it would be a matter of seconds before he was defeated. Although once he made impact with the ground a huge cloud of dirt and dust filled the air. I cursed since I could barely see anything. I kept looking around to see if I could see him but it didn’t work. Silver was turned on the new heat tracking ability Tabane gave us. Just as she turned it on I saw Ichika’s Yukihira coming towards me. Silver was able to move us but not fast enough. His sword connected with my right wing and my shields dropped more than 80%. I ripped his sword out of my wing before tossing it behind me.

“Great.” I muttered as the cloud finally dispersed, revealing Ichika.

“You know I’m looking forward to having my harem back.” He smirked and I grit my teeth in anger

“They aren’t going to crawl back to you Ichika. They’re not prizes that you can just win, and besides I didn’t make that deal with you.” He narrowed his eyes at me and I did the same, “The only thing you’ll get from this spar is a trip to the hospital.”

Before he could even react I boosted towards him. I grabbed his neck tightly, but not too tight to cut off his air.

“Now you have nothing to defend yourself with. Your Yukihira is halfway across the arena and your shields are practically deplenished. Your little hope of getting your girls back ends here.”

Let’s end this son of a bitch.

Silver went into second shift as I powered my energy blasts up once again .Ichika’s eyes widened with fear but I didn’t care. My fury was unleashed once again but this time I didn’t stop until his shields were gone. I let go of him and he stumbled away for a moment until his IS disappeared. Although we were still in the air so he was now plummeting towards the ground.

“Silver put about half of our remaining energy in our boosters.”

What why?! Let him die!

“I agree with you but I think Chifuyu and a lot of the other girls at this school will be pissed if we let him die.”

Fine.

I quickly boosted my way towards the falling Ichika and grabbed his flight suit. I extended my wings and basically acted like a huge parachute until we were close enough to the ground that he wouldn’t get hurt. I dropped him on the ground and he let out a groan of pain.

“Be grateful that I saved you. My IS did not want the same.”

He only glared at me and I turned around ignoring him.

“The winner is Y/N L/N!!” The crowd cheered and I could spot my own little cheerleaders in the stands.

I blew them a kiss and I’m pretty sure Charlotte and Kanzashi fainted after that.

No one POV

As Y/N was cheered on by the crowd a beaten Ichika was struggling to stand. He glared at Y/N with so much hatred. He still had some energy left but not enough to summon his whole IS. With a devilish smirk he summon his Yukihira and pointed it at Y/N. Luckily two members of Y/N’s harem noticed this-Cecilia and Houki. With the last of his remaining strength Ichika threw his Yukihira straight at Y/N. Both girls shifted into their IS and Houki zoomed towards Y/N. Cecilia on the other hand was aiming Blue Pierce at Ichika’s Yukihira. Cecilia planned out it’s path and shot a single shot. Houki got to Y/N just in time, tackling her out of the way right as Cecilia’s energy shot hit Ichika’s Yukihira. The impact with the blast made the sword stop in it’s tracks, and it almost broke as it hit the ground.

Your POV

My eyes widened as I looked at the Yukihira that was a few feet away.

“Are you alright?” Houki asked me as Cecilia landed next to her

“Y-Yeah I’m fine.” I went to sit up but I forgot that Houki and her IS was kinda on top of me

Houki helped me up and I dismissed my IS along with Cecilia and Houki.

“Thank you my angels.” Both girls faces exploded into a blush and I could feel the heat radiating off of their faces

“D-Don’t call us t-that!” Cecilia stuttered

“Oh? Would you rather prefer my little teacup? Or perhaps my little samurai?” I bit down on my lip as I tried to hold in my laughs

Both girls summoned their weapons and I smiled nervously.

“W-Wait a minute g-girls..”

“Ichika Orimura!” Chifuyu’s powerful voice ripped through the whispers of the shocked crowd

Ichika was visibly shaking as his sister grabbed him by his collar.

“C-Come on si-”

“Shut up.” She growled as Tabane landed next to him, “Hand over your IS.”

“What?! No!”

“You’ve just attacked another IS student. I could tell that you wanted to kill Y/N. Therefore your IS will be confiscated and you will be kicked out of the academy.”

Ichika looked at her surprised but he didn’t give up.

“I’m not giving up my Byakushiki.”

“You don’t have a choice.”

Ichika looked between all of us before booking it.

“Stop him!”
