It had been a few days since the call with the president. One of the lawyers were coming over today, and he wanted to meet me and F/N at a nearby cafe. I had been thinking on which of my girlfriends I should choose to go with me to America. It was a tough decision but I finally decided on Laura. I needed my cuddles, and plus if anyone tried to do anything to me I'm sure she beat the hell out of them. As I struggled to pull on my pants the bedroom door opened,

"Do you need help?" I smiled slightly when I heard Laura's voice

"No I got this." 

After a few more tugs I finally had them slipped on. As I looked back up I blushed softly once I saw Laura standing in front of me. 

"You forgot to button up your shirt Y/N." She stated, and I followed her eyes down to my chest

I covered my chest as I felt my face burn with embarrassment,

"There's no use covering yourself up. It's not like I haven't seen it before." Laura chuckled and once I moved my arms she started to button up my shirt

"I-I c-could've done it m-myself you k-know..."

"I know." Laura smiled 

It was silent after that, and once she finished I spoke up again,

"Hey Laura?"

"Ja?"

"Could I talk to you about something?"

"Of course." She sat down next to me, and I intertwined our hands

"W-Well I have to go to the United States to testify against the General that did this to me. They allowed for one person to come with me, and I wanted you to come."

It went silent once again and I looked away sadly,

"Y-You don't have to come. I understand if you're busy and-"

"Nonsense. I'm going. I am just thinking on all the ways I can kill that man." 

I blushed and turned back to Laura,

"I have a meeting today with one of the lawyers. Could you escort me there? You'll probably want to listen on what's going to happen, that and I need someone to take me there."

"When do you have to meet up with this lawyer?"

"In about 20 minutes."

"20 minutes!?"

"Yeah..."

"We're not taking the car. We'll take my IS."

"You can't do that Laura!"

"Yes I can! And plus have you seen the news? The traffic is crazy right now!" 

"That doesn't mean we can go flying around in your IS!"

"So? Haven't you seen Dragon Ball Z? They flew around when there was and wasn't traffic!"

"That's an anime!"

"So!?"

I face palmed and shook my head. I let out a small shriek when Laura suddenly picked me up-bridal style. 

"Now let's go. We don't want you to be late." Laura started to walk towards the door

To be honest I found this whole situation rather cute. Laura kept a straight face, but she had a rather obvious blush on her face as she made her way downstairs,

"Where are you two going?" Chifuyu stated, blocking our path

"Y/N is going to be late to a meeting. I'm taking her." 

"Meeting who?"

"Remember the court thing I was telling you about? That's what I'm talking about. One of the lawyers are in town and wants to talk to me and F/N." 

"Oh well be safe." Chifuyu moved out of the way but I grabbed her wrist

"Can't I have a kiss goodbye?"

"You're coming back."

"Please??" I tried to convince her by doing puppy dog eyes 

"Fine." She sighed and I let go of her wrist 

I smiled and leaned up to kiss her, but she leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"Return home safe and I'll give you the rest." Chifuyu smirked as she walked away 

I frowned as Laura walked outside, 

"Don't worry Y/N." Laura smiled before she suddenly leaned down and kissed me

It was passionate, not rushed or heated in anyway. I smiled in the kiss before slowly kissing her back. I pulled away when I needed oxygen. Both Laura and I were red faced whether that was from the lack of oxygen or something else. 

"Let's get going. You don't want us to be late do you?" I giggled and Laura chuckled

Laura summoned her IS before flying up into the sky. I held onto her tightly as she flew way above the traffic, which seemed like little ants from this height. 

"Wait which cafe are we going to?"

"Eats and Treats Cafe." 

"Ja we would've definitely been late if we took the car." She smirked and I rolled my eyes 

"Whatever." 

A few minutes later we landed in front of the cafe. A few people gave us surprised looks, but Laura ignored them and dismissed her IS. 

"Well it looks like I have to carry you since we forgot your crutches." Laura smiled as we entered the cafe

"Did you plan this?"

"No of course not!" 

"Sureeee.." I smiled and looked over at a booth and saw F/N

"Hey F/N!" I waved and Laura sat me down next to her, before sitting next to me. 

"Hey Y/N. I see you're doing well." She smiled and Laura intertwined our hands 

A few minutes later a waitress came and got our orders. After she left a man sat across from us,

"I assume you are Y/N L/N and F/N F/L/N?" 

"Yes sir we are. I assume you are Miles Edgeworth?" 

"Indeed. It's nice to finally meet you two. I assume this is the girl that is going to travel to America with you?" He asks, motioning over to Laura

"Yes. My name is Laura Bodewig." Laura growled glaring at him

"Well I'll try and make this quick. General Goodwin as you know is about to go on trial in one week. I just want to go over some final statements, and evidence with you." 

We both nodded and he continued,

"Now the general illegally continued with the ISPP program, and during those years controlled the two of you. He planted electronic chips in your brain, trained you, and once the old Silver Gospel was recovered he sent you here to recover. Then he tried to get you to return, but once that didn't work he activated the chips, taking over your minds. He forced you to attack your friends/girlfriends, but they defeated you and you woke up back in your correct mindset in the hospital." 

"That's correct." I answered, and Laura must've sense that I was nervous since she rubbed my knuckles trying to comfort me

"Alright I only need a few more questions, and clarification then we'll be done."
