"Did you pay the electricity bill?" Sanyukta questioned.
"Oh sh*t, I forgot! Seriously life is crap these days" Randhir spoke frustrated.
"It's alright, I will pay it online, don't worry" Sanyukta assured Randhir.
Lights went off and fan stopped working.
"Electricity department cut the electricity supply of our house, great!" Randhir exclaimed.
"Not a big deal, let me just open the windows and balcony" Sanyukta replied.
"It's too hot outside, it won't work out" Randhir spoke out with a sigh.

"Electricity will restore tomorrow" the electrical officer told Sanyukta on a customer care call that Sanyukta dialed to inquire about restoration of electricity.
"I have paid the bill, light will be restarted tomorrow,Randhir don't worry" Sanyukta again reassured Randhir.
Randhir sat quietly, Sanyukta got up and laid the lunch of lentil and rice.
"I will make lassi (a traditional Indian drink, sweet or salty, made by blending yogurt with water, sugar or salt, and spices like cardamom, cumin, etc.) and paneer butter masala(The dish combines paneer {Indian cottage cheese} in a butter sauce ) tomorrow for sure" Sanyukta spoke out, serving rice and pulse to Randhir.

"No, it's not possible" Boss replied, leaving a disappointed Sanyukta.
She sat calculating money in her bank account and some currency she saved in her wallet.
Randhir stepped inside Sanyukta quickly hid the wallet under the pillow.
"Hey, sleep here for a while. I have a hand fan too, I will blow cool air on your face. My mother used to make me sleep like that whenever we had long power cuts in our town" Sanyukta spoke quickly.
Randhir placed his head in Sanyukta's lap,"I am failure, I have let you down" Randhir spoke teary-eyed.
"No, neither you are a failure nor you have let me down in any way" Sanyukta wiped his tears, placing a kiss on his forehead she lulled him to sleep.

"Randhir we sack you from the job, you couldn't complete the targets on time; therefore we can't save your job" the senior manager informed Randhir with a poker face a month ago.
"F*ck that damn idiot sacked me!" Randhir shrieked in anger.
"It happens, lobby politics happens in corporate world.Randhir relax, I have my job, you too have savings as well, soon you will find a job" Sanyukta spoke out to Randhir hugging him a tight hug as he
broke into tears, crying on her shoulder.
"Sir, give me a chance. I am a mechanical engineering from F.I.T.E, I am a good gold medalist as well" Randhir spoke out taking all certificates of achievement from a folder
to show it to the interviewer.
"You have good profile and job experience as well, but we need a person with experience of at least a decade or a degree in engineering from aboard. You don't fulfill either, kindly try after a few more years of experience" the interviewer responded.

Evening came, darkness surrounded the house. Sanyukta searched everywhere for candles but didn't find any.
"I have filled your life with darkness" Randhir spoke from behind.
"No,Randhir stop talking like this" Sanyukta spoke.
Sanyukta kneaded a dough of wheat, she then made small diyas out of the wheat dough. She then lit the diyas with homemade ghee. She placed them everywhere in the house, lightening it again.
"Darkness only surrounds when we lose hope to shine again" Sanyukta keeping a diya at the bedside of Randhir.
Randhir smiled, he understood what Sanyukta meant," I am lucky that you are my soulmate. You are with me in all phases of life" Randhir spoke with teary eyes and a smile etched on his lips.
"What is this?" Randhir spoke out, spooning some more rice on his plate.
"It's called Meethi bhat( boiled rice sweetened with Jaggery or sugar), I used left over rice and Jaggery to make it" Sanyukta replied.
Randhir laughed." Is it not tasting good, huh...? Sanyukta asked nervously.
"I laughed because I remembered something" Randhir replied.
"What did you remember?" Sanyukta asked curiously.
"You once told me before marriage that cooking is not your Forte, now I see a sensible woman making use of every ingredient of kitchen wisely, making tasty food for me, not whining about financial crisis we are facing now" Randhir spoke out lovingly, his eyes reflecting pride for his beloved.
"Enough for buttering Randhir" Sanyukta spoke out blushing.
"I am calorie conscious, but a cheat is also essential isn't it?" Randhir winked, looking at the bedroom.
"You are already this sweet dinner" Sanyukta replied mockingly.
"I need my dessert too" Randhir picked up Sanyukta in his arms.

"Usually people have romantic candlelight dinners, but we will have a night with these" Sanyukta chuckled looking at diyas around.
Randhir replied," We are unique, therefore our tools for romance will also be unique".
He kissed Sanyukta lovingly, the latter responded with equal love.
Randhir stopped and looked in her eyes." Just say whatever is running in your mind?" Sanyukta asked.
"Why do you love me so much?Right now, I am jobless and dependent on you, Don't you think you could have deserved someone better?" Randhir asked apprehensively.
"Yes, you are right. I could have married someone else. Someone with more money, a big house and social status" Sanyukta replied.
"What...really?" Randhir disheartened as his face fell and paled as he tried to interpret what Sanyukta spoke.
"Hmm...really a man with good looks, intelligent, good heart and love. I needed someone like that. A man who understands me better than myself, who
motivates me every time, who never judges me and most importantly who is wild in bed" Sanyukta spoke out his dream man with a smile.
Randhir bowed his head, hiding his tears." One more thing, he should be a big mcp" Sanyukta added.
Randhir looked at Sanyukta amused.
"Randhir Singh Shekhawat I couldn't find a bigger mcp than you along with all the qualities I mentioned" Sanyukta hugged Randhir from behind.
"What about money?" Randhir spoke, still unconvinced.
"F*ck Money, I don't need money to be happy. Money can give materialistic happiness, but I require happiness which is more related to soul which gives peace and calmness, and you provide me that cocktail of love, passion, security, peace, serenity and sense of happiness that no one else can" Sanyukta replied.
Randhir extinguished the only source of light in the room with the blow of air from his mouth.
Slowly,Randhir removed a strand of hair from Sanyukta's neck, he kissed the sweet spot of her neck leaving a hickey and a shiver down her spine.
Sanyukta removed her nighty inviting Randhir to take her again to the land of love and ecstasy. He, too, made sure to make love to Sanyukta with equal desire and passion, giving every inch of his body to her and claiming every follicle of her body to his.
"I will always with you irrespective of times we face whether good or bad" Sanyukta whispered the third vow of marriage she made to Randhir.
