It's not necessary ..what we hope..what we wish ..we get that only ..sometimes life serves you the bitter food..still you have to taste it.. Everything happens for some reasons.. Every good or bad thing has a reason..all we need to do is to be patient enough..and analyze things in a better way..

Life can never be a bed of rose..sometimes there are millions of thorns ..but still! Life goes on..it doesn't stop.. It just goes on.. So accept what is coming ..and make your present better..which will eventually makes your future blissful..

Manik with a thudding heart..entered inside her room..as soon as he entered inside..a pillow in full speed crashed on him..when he looked straight..he found her totally out of control..everything was messed in her room..which was in order after she slept..

She was about to throw a vase on him..when suddenly she noticed his face..and stopped in mid..her angry face..changed into the soft one..and Manik noticed that change..he got a hope that may be ..may be she recognized him..

But soon all his thoughts went in bin..when she narrowed her gaze on him..and looked at him angrily..

Nandini : "kaun ho tum?.. Mere room mei Kyu aaye?.. Jao..jao yaha se.." ... She screamed ..and her first line pricked in his heart..

"She forgot me! She forgot us!.." ..his heart screamed ..but no sound came out of his mouth..as if ..he was prepared for this..

Manik : "Nandini.. Its Me .. Manik.. Remember ..Manik.."..he said in soft voice ..and started walking inside..while she now pondered on the name..

" Maniiikk".. She said in the most childish tone which made a smile on his face.. He slowly walked towards her..she was sitting on the bed..she seems to be calm now..

"Ma..niik .. Manik.. Maaaaaa..nniiikkkk.. Manik".. She started chanting his name like a small baby..he just smiled at it..and stand a little far from her..

She looked at him..for a brief moment..the world stopped..the time stand Still..there eyes met..after long 2 months.. He is able to look in those hazel eyes.. He noticed..she is no longer the same Nandini..she has changed a lot.. Her glowing face..isn't glowing now..her shining smile isn't there..her glinting eyes..are dull now.. The peace which used to be there..is not there.. She has changed.. That star diva of St. Xavier's is no longer a star...

His trance broke down..when she called him..

" ma..niikk".. She first said ma then emphasized the last words..and nodded her head in yes...

Nandini : "mai tumhe janti hu?..".. She asked very innocently and he smiled..

Manik : " we are friends Nandini..".. He told her and she smiled.. All this while ..he didn't saw a smile on her face..its first time a small smile came on her face..

Nandini : "friend?.. Like Timmy!".. She asked innocently ..and he looked confused.. She then showed him her big teddy bear..which was on the floor..

Nandini : " Maine use Mara..tum toh mere friend ho na..toh Timmy ko Mana ke Lao na..please" ... She said in the voice of 2 year baby..and he smiled..

He walked towards the Teddy and picked it up.. It was a huge teddy..for her size..Nandini was looking at him..and he looked at teddy..

Manik : "Timmy! Apki friend sorry hai..aap use please maaf kar do..and usse firse friendship kar lo..".. He too talked with teddy..while Nandini's face started glowing..when Manik made the teddy's head move in yes!.. She didn't saw that he did it..

Nandini : " timmmyyy!"... She shouted and snatched the teddy from Manik's hand and hugged it tightly.. Manik smiled looking at the innocence in her..

Manik : "Nandini!".. He called her and she looked at him..she looked little angry..

Nandini : " don't you have manners?.. Jab do friends baat karte hai..toh kisi ko beech mei nhi bolna chahiye "... She said with complaining eyes and he held his ears.. He very innocently said sorry..she smiled ..

Nandini : " its okay!.. You brought my Timmy back na..so I forgive you..".. She said and went straight to her bed..she sat down there ..and started talking with her teddy..

Manik smiled a bit..but his heart..it was aching to see his star in such condition..it was really heart wrenching..to see a girl like this..who once was full of life..

He then start picking things from floor..and Nandini was busy in playing with the soft toy..he very patiently cleaned the whole room..that's how Manik Malhotra is.. A down to earth person..with loads of love in his heart..

He was keeping some books in the book shelf ..when suddenly he heard Nandini's voice..

"Friend! Suno".. She called him..and he turned around to see her..

Manik : " kya hua Nandini? ..you need anything? ".. He asked very lovingly and she with gesture called him near her..He stood a little far from her bed..making the apt distance..

Nandini : " mujhe nini aayi hai..mujhe sula do..please" ..she said in her childish tone and he smiled..

Manik : "so how princess wanna sleep..your Jinny is ready to do anything .."... He said after keeping his one hand behind and bow down in front of her.. She clapped her hands..in excitement..

Nandini : " princess ko song sunna hai..Jinny will sing?".. She asked and he smiled ..he simply nodded..and she lay down on her stomach..looking at him..while he sat down on the floor..

Hmmmm hmmm hmmm..
Ohooo hoo hoo...

He started humming in his melodious voice..while now she became all quiet..she was only looking at him intently .while he was humming a beautiful melody..

Awargi se dil bhar gaya..
Teri gali mei rehne laga..
Jese kabhi bhi ki na kisi ki..
Teri fikar mei rehne laga..

He sang emphasizing on each word..his every word was meaningful.. But the mere difference is ..she wasn't able to understand it..he was singing looking at her ..while she was drowning in his alluring voice..

Tere aansun piyon mei..
Kabhi tujko hasau..
Tujhe door se dekhu..
Kabhi dil mei basau..

Unknowingly tears eloped from her eyes..while her face was expressionless ..he was confused with those tears ..he softly removed those tears from her face..while she was staring at him..he was singing with more passionate voice now..

Teri khatir jeeyon mei..
Kabhi tujh pe lutau..
Yeh jaan..meri jaan ..
Hai tu..bas tu..tuuuuuu..

She slowly closed her eyes..as his hand started removing those lines from her forehead..it seems like she is in captivate within herself only...she is screaming to come out from there..but nothing is helping her ..but Manik.. He was able to feel that pain of hers..

He stopped singing ..when he heard her soft snores..he smiled..and wrapped the warm blanket around her..he after taking the last glance of her..walked out of the room..

Living area :

CaVya were waiting for Manik to come down..and when they saw him coming downstairs.. They instantly rushed to him..

Cabir : "woh theek toh hai na Manik?..".. He asked being worried..on which Manik nodded with a smile..

Navya : " ajeeb bat hai..Nandini kisi ko bhi apne pass nhi rehne deti hai..but fir bhi usne tumhe waha rehne diya.. Iska matlab....".. She stopped while saying..and looked at him..

Cabir : "iska matlab use sirf tum theek kar sakte ho Manik.. Now only you are our hope.."..he completed her left over words..while Manik was stunned..listening this new truth..

Manik : " I will give my best ..I need to talk with my seniors about her .. Navya can you please show me my room?.. ".. He asked her and she nodded..

Then Navya took him with her ..and showed him the room..next to Nandini..he thanked her..and she thanked him for helping them..but the little does she knows that he is doing for himself.. Nandini is his love..he can't see her in pain..so whatever he is doing..is doing for himself only..all he want is too see Nandini just like before ..

This love isn't that simple as it seems to be..this four letter word..sometimes provides you enormous strength that you can fight with the whole damn world..and sometimes..it makes you weak in your knees..that you can't even stand in front of yourself .. Love isn't simple.. Its complicated! ..it has pain..grief..confined in it..and if there is no pain ..then its not love.. Gold shines brighter only after passing in heat..and love blossom only after crossing difficulties.. And the love which pass all the test ..its the love ..in front of whom..even almighty himself bow down..

Its night and Manik is discussing about Nandini with his seniors on video chat..

"So what else we can do?".. Manik asked while talking on call..

" Manik! First step is to give her extra love and attention.. Talk with her..play with her..pamper her as much as you all can do..then last step is Trust.. Actually such patients have less faith in themselves.. They don't believe on themselves..and also not on the people who are around them.. So you have to make her believe that you trust her.. Once she will get that trust..she will respond to your treatment.. "... The senior psychiatric told him everything..and Manik nodded..

" thank you Dr. Shah..that was a great help..".. He thanked him .and doctor smiled..after that Manik disconnected the call..and lay down on the bed..with his hands below his head..

He start recalling that last day conversation with her..which was actually their first conversation.. He reminisced some of Her words ..

"Live life Manik..live it.. Don't bound yourself.. Make yourself free and fly high.. "

"Life is so beautiful..don't waste any moment of it.. Just live your life like there is no tomorrow.. Enjoy every moment.."

Her words rang in his ears...and he sat down on the bed..now he recalled navya's words to him..

"She always harms herself.." ...

He was all confuse now..he placed his palm on his mouth..and rubbed the corner of his lips.. He was in deep thoughts.. He was trying to join some strings..but wasn't able to..

Manik : "Jo Ladki..life ke har ek moment ko enjoy karti thi..Jisne mujhe jeena sikhaya....that girl keep harming herself?... Magar kyu?".. He thought in deep confusion..he was in fix..nothing is making sense to her..

Manik : "according to Cabir Navya.. Woh bilkul theek thi.. but suddenly usmei changes aaye..then us din woh accident..but woh ghar se bahar kyu gayi thi?.. What she is hiding?? "...he thought in utmost confusion..

Screen freezes on his confused face..
