Cipher War pt.1

Brandon paced back and forth. He wasn't the one to normaly do this and most of the time he was never the one to think. Shoot he had advisors for that, but when he heard of a certain someone coming back he had no option but to take matters into his own hand. Brandon stopped and looked out at the city he and his family had ruled. The tall towers of District Athena and District Dora could be seen from his bedroom. He leaned against the window frame and narrowed his eyes trying to get rid of the thought of a possible invasion. He then herd the floor creek a little, alerting him that someone has entered.
"This is not the best of time to speak with me." He calmly say's, what he didn't expect was the person to put their hands on his eyes. Brandon knew it was and waited for the said person to move their hand out of his face. Once they did they revealed themselves to be non other than his wife Alaska. Brandon took a deep sigh knowing well what was going to happen.
'What troubles you' was her usual go to words but that wasn't the case. Instead Alaska drew him into a deep hug. Brandon held his breath for a moment then exhaled as he shakly pulled her into a hug of his own. Somehow, somewhere, she knew what  was going on with him. Brandon didn't want to say anything he just wanted to be their with her knowing that at any moment he could loose her and Amelia.
"Brandon...." She said, Brandon looked into her eyes as he felt her hand move to his face.
"You can do it." She says, he was puzzled for the moment but then nod his head. He held on to her then places a kiss on her forehead.
"I know I can Alaska, but is it worth it." He says, Alaska nods and points her finger to the city.
"They are always behind you hun, always." She says as she placed a quick kiss on his lips before moving away from him. Brandon nods his head and watched her leave. His mind clear and restrengthen. He took a deep breath before getting up and leaving his room. He made his way to the courtyard of his mansion where his butler and advisor stood their waiting for him. As Brandon walked to the advisor he looked at his butler.
"Leave us....." He says, and the butler bowed lightly and quickly before making haste towards the inner parts of the CourtYard.
"Avad, what's the report?" He asked, looking at his advisor. Avad cleared his throat before speaking.
"My lord the walls of District Athena and District Maria have been reinforced as you wish, and the boat to the sea gate is waiting for you." Brandon nods his head and began walking out of the courtyard and towards his personality dock. It was a small dock but Brandon made due with how it was. He saw the boat and hopped on along his advisor.
"And the defense?" He asked, feeling the boat jerk forward.
"Sir the super soldiers you had requested have arrived...." Avad spoke, Brandon nodded his head and pressed his fingers together. His mind raced once again and the feeling of uneasiness had began to ball up in his stomach.
"....they are ready to command sir and so as the High Council." Avad spoke, Avad looked at the sea gate he felt the same uneasiness that Brandon had felt earlier.
"Sir permission to speak freely." Ava's asked, Brandon nods.
"Do you feel an uneasiness feeling, like were being watched?" He asked, Brandon hummed a bit and bit his bottom lip.
"More like we are sailing into a trap." He says, Avad nods and both men felt the boat stop. The Captain came around and bowed to Brandon.
"Sir we have arrived." He says, Brandon looked at the Sea gate. It looked very eerie, the water splashing against the metal steel that divided his Kingdom from the outside.
"Do you notice anything that's wrong?" Brandon called out. Avad and the captain shook his head, but Brandon glared at the wall. Their had been a sea fog coming in. Brandon narrowed his eyes and then his eyes widen.
"Turn the boat around!" He shouted as splashes of water became more audible. They werent the soft sounds of water splashing against the steel, no now it was harsh splashes as the captain spun his boat around. Something had happened the sea gate was now a blaze and Brandon had a front row seat to a large object in the sky.
