Synopsis
Infernal Throne
By: Nhật Hạ
Since the dawn of the universe, two opposing forces—Good and Evil—have waged an endless war for dominion. Countless worlds were ravaged in their battles, until Earth emerged, along with humanity. By siding with Good, mankind granted the Angels an overwhelming victory. To shield humanity from the encroaching darkness, the Angels forged an impenetrable barrier, separating the forces of darkness from the human world.
Yet, mankind's greed led to catastrophe.
A group of scientists, driven by the ambition to unlock absolute knowledge, conducted a perilous experiment. Unknowingly, they shattered the barrier and opened the Gate of Chaos, linking Earth to other dimensions. Monsters from sealed realms poured forth, plunging humanity into darkness.
At first, the Angels did not intervene. It was not their place to save humanity from its own mistakes. However, to prevent total annihilation, they bestowed mankind with power—a gift enabling them to fight back and amend their sins. Mighty warriors arose, and humans slowly reclaimed their world, sealing the dimensional gates one by one.
But victory came at a cost.
Within the gates, humans discovered vast resources—power, weapons, magical energy, and forbidden knowledge. The more they uncovered, the more they craved. Their greed consumed them, and soon, nations and factions waged wars, turning survival into a hunt for power.
This time, the Angels could not remain silent.
Judging that humanity had fallen into corruption, the Angels decreed a Purge. To cleanse the world of its sins, they opened a new gate—not to an unknown world, but to Hell itself.
From the abyss of darkness, ancient demons long imprisoned in chains were unleashed upon the mortal world, bringing devastation and ruin. The Angels believed humanity must pay the price. If they could not resist the demons, they would be erased from existence.
But this act awakened a being even the Angels feared—the Infernal Queen.
Long ago, the war between Heaven and Hell had ended with a peace treaty forged by the Queen herself. Yet, by summoning her demons without permission, the Angels had broken that truce—an act of provocation. Bound by the treaty, she could not declare war. But she could descend to the mortal world and witness the chaos firsthand.
And there, she saw a truth the Angels had overlooked—not all humans deserved annihilation.
Rather than watch the world fall into ruin, the Infernal Queen made her choice: to reclaim her demons and restore order.
But the path would not be easy.
Not all demons would willingly return.
Not all Angels believed in peace.
And humans, ever hungry for power, would not so easily surrender the might they had stolen from Hell's gates.
As the Infernal Queen walks her path, what awaits her?
Another war?
Or a chance to forge true peace?
