Aphmau's POV

"RUN!! RUN!!"

"WHERE?!"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER JUST RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK!"

Our quick feet smash the frail, dead grass as we sprint across the barren wastelands.

The pounding in our heads never relent, very much like the horrific growls sounding in the air.

"GO GO GO!"

Our bags clap against our backs as we ran.

Something is crackling, pounding...growling.

Adrenaline surges through our veins while fear clouds our minds.

"Go...go...Aphmau."

I love you, Aphmau.

APHMAU!

"APHMAU GET UP!"

I shoot up from the comfy sofa I was stretched out on, peeling open my eyes groggily to see a mildly blurry but extremely pissed off Katelyn.

"APHMAU GET UP! WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!" She shouts, ironically throwing a small throw pillow at me, the rough fabric scratching my face.

"OWWWW!" I dramatize, holding my "injured" cheek. I sit up slowly, the perpetual ache in my back causing me slight discomfort.

Not even any time to contemplate my dream but okay.

Well as you know, Katelyn can be like this sometimes. Okay, all the time.

"Where are...my parents?" I ask, rubbing my eyes.

"They're at work already. UNLIKE US! C'MON! We have to GO! Mrs. Zvahl is going to KILL US if we're late again!" Katelyn tosses me quite violently my maid outift, putting her coat on over her's.

"You don't have to call Lucinda that." I say, as I pull on my revealing maid outfit top, Kawaii~chan also putting on hers.

"LETS JUST GO!"

"My god, Katelyn~sama, you're acting like the world might end." Kawaii~chan says, fluffing her poofy skirt.

"It might as well if we are fired, c'mon!"

And with the shortened three minute version of my hour-long morning routine, Katelyn kicks Kawaii~chan and I to the car as she drives us to work at the Maid Cafe.

During the drive, I can't stop going back to what Kawaii~chan said. And about the odd dream I had.

What if the world did...end?

An interesting concept. One that I'm sure has been debated by scientists and doomsday preppers for a millennia.

Eh, I shouldn't think like that, anyways. I mean what are the chances of that?

I wonder what this type of AU is? 🤔

BTW for this book, I'm sadly not accepting OCs except Violet's and Mines.
