"W-w-what..." I could barely speak much less fight for my self.

"We can talk later!" James shot the head off of another one of the infected. "We need to go now! I'll drive!" The 3 of us ran to the RV with James driving. Once we were out off the big mess, Shyla started to speak again.

"I was trying my hardest to keep him safe I swear! But there was to many. A horde of around 60-70 came out of no where and started to attack us. I used some of the guns we had left over, but it was no use. I got to the top of the RV, and i thought I would be safe there..."

"But you weren't." I finished off. "These... Things, whatever the virus is, it's mutating fast, and by the looks of it, it wasn't just us."

"They have minds of their own. They can think and respond to any-" Shyla started to veer of the track of the of the conversation, so I tried to redirect her.

"You were explaining what happened to you earlier."

"Oh.... Yeah.... Well um..." She took a pause in between her words, but no matter how sad she sounded, she didn't start tearing up. "They started to climb the RV, and I was able to pick off a few at a time, but soon they were coming from all sides. They snatched up Brent, and I was knocked unconscious."

"Wait what? You were? But.... That's not right. They spared you for some reason!"

"I think they have their own brains that are evolving each day. Whatever this virus is, it was meant to destroy, maybe even tear us a part. They wanted me to feel pain. They knew I would, so they took him and left me."

"They knew that that would be a punishment worse then death. Knowing that you let someone die..." I wasn't exactly talking to anyone, but I could tell that they could all heard what I said.

"These things, they're more then just flesh eating creatures, they still have human reminiscence left in them. This whole thing couldn't have been a accident."

"It's not." James popped up. "And I have proof."

The RV was pulled over, the doors were locked and the windows were closed. We all sat huddled around a small TV, where James put a tape in from his bag.

The video was shown from his point of view. He was walking around a hospital asking people if they knew where Jenny Roberts was. Most of the doctors turned him down, but finally one spoke up. "3rd floor, room 304." The doctor said. "She's gonna be Dr. Haley's first test subject!"

"Sounds wonderful!" James said quite cheerily! "Can't wait!"

James got in the elevator and rode it up to the third floor where he wandered around until he found the room of the girl.

"Sorry sir visitor hours are-"

James cut him off. "She's my sister. Please let me in."

The man just moved out of the way, and let him in. Inside of the room looked like a normal hospital room, except there were tons of doctors surrounding the bed with James sister. It was hard to make out what they were saying, but you could hear some murmurs of things like. "This is gonna be amazing!" Or "I can't wait!"

Finally the the room went silent and a lady emerged from the crowd. She had two armed guards next to her, which felt kinda odd, but I guess she needed protection. I mean she is a famous doctor.

"Today we fix the word!" The doctor lifted up the syringe with a red like fluid in it. "Though it may not be what you think."

"Just do it already!" Someone shouted from the crowd.

"Yeah!" They seemed to be a little agitated, but I guess they just wanted it to happen.

"As you wish." She injected James sister with the fluid then immediately left. "Get the doors." It was hard to hear, but she could still be heard. James scored closer to his sister, and that's when it changed.

His sister started violently thrashing and throwing her arms everywhere. People were running around screaming, and then she did it. She jumped out of the bed and tackled a man until his screaming went silent.

Everyone was trying to rush out of the room, but James stayed. They all ran out, then there was gunfire. The room emptied out, and it was just James and his sister. But she wasn't the same. Her body was all mutated and there was blood dripping down from her jaw.

"What... What did they do to you?" You could her James crying, but his sister didn't move. She just stood there staring. Finally after a minute or two she ran out into the hall, where they could be more screaming heard.

James pressed his camera against the glass and looked out. Then we saw them. The doctor. She seemed perfectly fine with what just happened. You could hear James screaming in the background as the truck drove away with the doctor and her guards.

That's where the video cut out.
