I updated one day late.... I really need to get back on schedule :P

"Ok, so everyone stick together, and try and grab useful things." We had just entered the complex, and there were tons of buildings which looked completely untouched.

"It looks safe here," I said. "maybe we can split up to cover more ground."

"No." Maxwell pointed towards my arm. "You're injured, and that just makes you weaker, and more vulnerable!"

"I can handle my self just fine thank you very much!" I turned away from them. "I'm going into my own building. "You guys have fun."

"Fine!" Maxwell snapped back. "And if you're not here when it's time to go, then we're heading back to the base without you!"

Wait we're going back there? Why didn't they tell me? There is no way I can go back after what happened. "We can't go back! Not after what happened!"

"No choice." James shook his head. "I know you don't want to, but it's the only safe place. No point and fighting it."

I just shook my head and sighed. "Fine. Now let's just go." I turned away from them and headed towards the first building.

The doors to the building were already open, which kinda worried me, because the building was silent. It was extremely dark in there, so I had to fumble around my pockets to find my cellphone and use the flash light on there.

I wandered around the building picking up food, water, coffee(hey I need my coffee ok!), and other useful things.

I finally came across a section with flash lights, so I grabbed a couple and use one for my self. I wandered around the store a little bit more, but I was stopped in my tracks when I heard the sound of crying.

Being the good person I am, I headed towards the noise, and found a young girl, who didn't look older then 5 sitting in a corner and crying.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" I slowly approached the girl not knowing if she was dangerous or not. She stopped crying and looked up at me.

"He's coming for you winter. You think you can survive, but you won't. He will kill everyone you care about. Leave.... Leave! LEAVE!" She kept on screaming, so I turned around and ran. I didn't stop until I made it to the RV, and one I was inside, I collapsed on the floor and blacked out.

When I opened my eyes again, I works in my bed back at Maxwells base. Was that all a weird dream? I checked my pocket and grabbed my new found flash light, which means it wasn't a dream.

I laid in bed for a second, letting reality set in, and once I did I realized that my life sucks.
Not like a teenager not getting a new iPhone sucks, but my old friends trying to kill me sucks.

A couple minutes later James came in with a tray of food. "I see you're awake." He set the tray down on my bedside table. "I brought you some breakfast. You should be fine, but I still felt like bringing you something."

I smiled and took the tray. "Thank you. I haven't been out for that long have I?"

James shook his head. "Only like 12 hours. Now eat up, Brent's waking up soon. I be a feeling that you'll be the first person he wants to see."

That thought actually made me smile. "Ok, I'll be down soon!"
