Dear Diary,

Katie is back!
Hehe, I'm Katie.

Daddy wasn't around, mommy wasn't around, so I was alone and the dog was back.
It was standing far away from my tree.

I tried not to look at it... but it was standing so interesting-ly.

It's big and black. I think it has red eyes. It's scary, but it hasn't hurt me yet.

Mommy left me some beans to eat, but daddy took them.
I'm hungry, but I can eat tomorrow.
