Chapter 1: The New Boy
Monday September 14th
"(Y/n)!!"
The said girl turned around to face the exited expressions of her two friends. The (e/c) eyed female braces herself for the upcoming impact approaching her at record speed. Just before her two companions could tackle her to the ground, she takes one swift step to the side allowing the two females to stumble and fall flat on their faces. While the failed tumble-team were regaining their bearings, (Y/n) steps in front of them and kneels down to their eye level.
"Hehe, how does the ground taste?" (Y/n) teases the two, identical girls. "I'm guessing it was Saki's idea again, wasn't it Lala?" She pinched the cheek of the girl in question and watched as colour rushed to her face. Lala and Saki were (Y/n)'s best friends since the very first day she joined the school and were practically inseparable. Both the girls were twins despite having quite different personalities from each other. Saki was known to be a tomboyish, free spirit while Lala was the girly, delicate butterfly. In spite of their conflicting tastes they always seemed to find a middle ground between each other. Saki had : long, dark brown hair, with natural blond highlights, that was constantly tied up in a high ponytail and bright, lively green eyes. Lala however, had: light golden hair that just about reached her shoulders with light curls at the tips and a red bow that secured her fringe behind her head, as well as blessed with alluring, dark emerald eyes.
"S-she said if I didn't she would mess up our room after school." Lala pouted while regaining her composure.
"No I di-OW!" Saki rubed her foot on the place where Lala's heel had injected itself, indicating the other twin to keep quiet and go along with the claim. (Y/n) scoffed and reached out a hand towards the more feminine of the twins, knowing she secretly loved the attention of a princes. Lala smiled and gladly took the (h/c) haired girl's hand and helped herself up.
"How did you know we were coming?" Lala said a bit irritated. You cocked an eyebrow towards her friends, remembering how the twins had screeched her name so loud she was sure a guy in a coma had herd them the next town over.
"I'll let you figure that out." (Y/n) grinned and continued her walk on the way to school.
"Wait! We actually did have something important to tell you." Saki appeared at her side, soon followed by Lala. (Y/n) looked at her, showing she had her attention. "Well, you know how Lala has a friend who has a friend who has a sister, who has a friend who is a part of the school council."
"Ok, I'm just going to have to stop you rriiiigghhhhtt there." (Y/n) processed the redundancy of the tomboy until she was sure she had the pieces in the right place. "Ok go on." She indicated Saki to continue.
"Well, Lala found out that there were going to be a few new students enrolled in the school." Saki gleefully said and her sister joined in.
"Ok? That's nice but why are you guys so pumped? We've had people change in and out of Toritsukimasu High." (Y/n) said, a bit puzzled.
"Because, these students are six -possibly attractive- new boys, AND one of them is going to be in our class!" Lala squealed at the idea of meeting the mystery guys.
"I'm guessing you found that out through your friend's, friend's sister's friend who is part of the council." (Y/n) flawlessly retorted. The (h/c) haired girl was not surprised at the two twin's fangirl behaviour. Their forever busy quest to find a boyfriend obviously on their mind. "And how long is this boy craze faze going to last now? A week? A month? Or is it going to be a year like last time?" She looks at the two to see Saki had an annoyed blush and Lala was pink with embarrassment. (Y/n) slightly laughs at the memory and continued to walk on.
"Well anyway, we want to see who they are so if you find one of them make sure to take a picture!" Saki motioned, determinedly.
"That sound a bit stalkerish, so why should I play along in order to satisfy your hormones?" Both the girls growled in humiliation and clasped their hands and bowed in front of (Y/n).
"PPLLLEEAASSE! For our sake!" The twins chanted in unison. (Y/n) gave an awkward smile and an evident sigh.
"Alright I'll do as you wish, pinkie promise." Even though (Y/n) didn't exactly feel motivated to perform such a creepy act, she loved her friends too much and -as always- gave in to their small request.
"Thank you!" The sisters synchronised and gave (Y/n) a bone crushing hug.
Time Skip
"Alright now class, I have some news today. Starting now we are going to welcome a new student." Mrs Mamie said.
(Y/n) looks at Lala and Saki who were seated behind her and she could practically see the drool gathering at their mouth, anticipating the appearance of 'their future boyfriend.' Mrs Mamie noticed the small ruckus in the class and cleared her throat to point the attention to her. "Ok now class, I know it's a bit exiting and I hope you all can be welcoming towards him." A few girls began whispering and gossiping at the revelation of it being a guy.
The teacher motioned towards the door for the new student to 'come in' and everyone held their breath to get a glimpse of the new person.
The door opened and in came a tall male that seemed to tower over most of the students. He had a shade of short, cobalt blue hair and indigo eyes that made half the girls melt away when he looked at them. He held a stern and slightly agitated expression and scanned the room, laying eyes on every person in order and stopped his gaze when he met (Y/n)'s (e/c) ones. (Y/n) flashes him a quick smile to show him some hospitality and redirects her attention back to her teacher. "Blue hair? Interesting." She heard her friends whisper to each other in an intrigued tone. Having unnaturally coloured hair wasn't exactly an anomaly in any way, but it certainly was a rarity. This is why the class started to silently murmur amongst themselves in amazement.
"Ok class, please listen to Mr Aoi. Please tell us something about yourself." Mrs Mamie directs her attention towards the boy.
The blue haired male takes a deep breath and focuses on a specific point to calm himself. And he set his sights on (Y/n) before seemingly composing himself and began to speak. "My name is Bako Aoi and I'm from Yuzuki all boys Academy and I enjoy martial arts as well as painting." He gave a slight smile and looks back at the teacher expectantly.
"Thank you, alright everyone, classes are going to start soon so please just silently talk amongst yourselves while I appoint a student to be Mr Aoi's guide for the week."
The class did as they were expected and began discussing Bako Aoi. The twins poked (Y/n)'s back and forced her to look at them. "Oh my goodness, he's absolutely gorgeous!" Lala went into fantasy mode, no doubt thinking about her future with the azure male.
"I guess." (Y/n) smiled at her friend's habit.
"Oh come on, I know your someone who prefers to compliment girls instead of boys, which makes me sure that your a lesbian, but you can't deny he seems nice." Saki pointed out. (Y/n) pouted at her friend's claim.
"Hey, I just give credit where it's due and do it for comedic purpose. Plus, I'm not denying he's not visually appealing." Both the twins rolled their eyes half jokingly. Then the teacher once again averted everyone's eyes back to her.
"Ok Mr Aoi, your guide for the week will be..... Maki Suzume." Groans and sighs of disappointment resonate from the girls of the class except for the named dark-haired girl who seems more than pleased to find out she'll be spending time with the young man.
Bako, somewhat downheartedly made his way to sit next to Maki. Lala and Saki both grunted at the sight of the giddy girl who immediately began conversing with the attractive, tall boy.
"Why did God smite us with this horrible bad luck?!" Saki head butted the desk.
"Well, God recently ran over my bike with -ironically- a pick-up truck, but you don't hear me complaining." (Y/n) retorted. Lala giggled and the other twin joined in with a slight snigger of her own.
"But to be honest we never really did have luck with boys that often." Lala and Saki began talking amongst each other while (Y/n) listened on. She then felt a chilling sensation run up her spine and along her neck. She instinctively skimmed the classroom to find out what the cause of her discomfort was, and she then noticed who exactly was making her feel this way. She realised the deep blue eyes watching her from across the class, belonging to Bako. Not wanting to be impolite and make it even more awkward, (Y/n) flashed him a smile and turned back to her friends.
Bako grinned at the girl's action and kept his attention focused on her for another 10 seconds before turning back to the rambling, dark haired female next to him. "Hey, what's that girl's name?" Maki looked at him a bit puzzled and regards the girl he was pointing at.
"Oh, that's (Y/n)." Bako grins at the new found knowledge.
"(Y/n)"
This will be a slow progression into yandere and will take a few chapters before anything happens. The first few chapters are mostly for developing and establishing characters.
