RIO'S POINT OF VIEW

"THERE SHE IS!" The villager casts shouted.

Karma and I glanced from where the voices are coming from.

I saw the class 3-E boys running to me.

Everyone is holding huge spears, shields, and their farming tools.

"Why did you stray too far? Do you even know that the demon is lurking from this part of the forest?" Maehara said in his mixed tone of anger and worry. "Even the women in our village wanted to look for you!"

"The villagers glanced at the woman's side and saw a man with huge horns on his head."

"T-THE DEMON!" Shouted Isogai.

Everyone acted like they panicked which was really convincing.

All the villagers made their battle stance with their weapons.

I closed my eyes and thought, "Everyone, we're doing great! Keep it up!"

"DON'T TOUCH HIM!" I shouted on top of my lungs. In my peripheral vision, everyone on the audience's side was so caught up in the moment that they wouldn't dare to make any noise.

"DON'T MOVE, YOUNG MAIDEN! WE'RE GOING TO SAVE YOU!" Isogai shouted.

Isogai and the rest of the boys rushed to Karma.

"I SAID DON'T TOUCH HIM!" I shouted again. I gave Maehara my death glare which made him flinch a little.

"P-please, listen to me... He's not what you think he is... He is kind to me..."

"NONSENSE! DO YOU EVEN KNOW THAT HE IS THE DEMON?!" Terasaka shouted back.

"I KNOW! I KNOW EVERYTHING!" I shouted in my desperate tone.

"YOUR MIND IS ALREADY CORRUPTED! WE'LL BRING YOU TO THE VILLAGE AS SOON AS WE KILL THAT DEMON!" Maehara shouted.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Karma's voice echoed through the place.

"If you want her back, take her..." He stole a glance from me. "I never wanted her to stay. Please don't let her come back anymore."

"WAIT! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? NO! LET ME TALK TO YOU! YOU WERE---" The class E boys started to pull me away from Karma. "STOP! WAIT! I'M TALKING TO HIM!"

The class e boys kept on pulling me.

"STOP HURTING HER!" karma shouted.

"YOU WERE THE ONE WHO---" Isogai was about to say something but was stopped when he saw that I'm gaining bruises from their pulling.

"I-I'---" "P-please, let me talk to him for the last time." I said while crying in pain because of the bruises. Though it seems like I was crying because I have to since it was the saddest part.

They guided me to Karma who immediately held my hands.

"I'm sorry." He said, his tone being melancholic and gazed at my bruises.

"It's nothing." I squeezed his hand. "I'm the one who should be sorry."

He suddenly hugged me tightly which caught me off guard.

"Is it wrong, wrong that I fell in love with you?" Karma said, shaking and his tone having a hint of desperation.

I hugged him back.

"It is not for I feel the same way. It's just, I feel this isn't the right time."

"Will you still be there when the time is right?" He hugged me tighter

"I will. When the time is right. I'll be back for you. Please promise me that you'll wait for me and that right time."

"I will. Please do come back."

He freed me from his hug and held my hand instead.

A tear escape from Karma's eye.

Everyone was stunned.

Karma, who's known being a bastard, can cry?

I wiped his tear and hugged him.

"I love you. Please don't forget about me." Karma hugged me back.

"I love you too. I will never do that."

The stage's light went off, sign that we're near the end.

"GREAT JOB GUYS! WE'RE NEAR THE END!" Kayano said happily.

"Ritsu will be narrating again soon. Please go change, both of you." Kurahashi said. Fuwa and Okuda handed me the dress I should wear.

"After three years, the maiden, who's known to be blind was cured by the Healing Tentacle of the Great Koro."

They made me wore a blue dress similar to the dress I wore earlier but a little fancier.

The spotlight went lit and I bowed to Korosensei who's only the head and two tentacles are visible and the others were hidden sneakily inside a black blanket.

Koro-sensei touched both of my eyes.

I slowly opened my eyes and acted as if I'm being blinded by the light.

The stage's light were again turned off.

I heard faint footsteps that was walking on the stage as I go on the backstage.

"The demon, who was thought to be a cruel beast was actually cursed because of his parents' debt to a sorcerer. He bargained to the sorcerer to pay the debt little by little and in return, he can make his horns smaller as he pay. The sorcerer miraculously agreed and he paid the debt by farming."

The stage went lit again and Karma wore a shabby top and bottom while wearing slippers. He was acting to be shovelling something and walks to the next background which is the witch's house. Kanzaki took the money from Karma and sat on her broom.

Koro-sensei helped Kanzaki to float while riding her broom with his Mach 20 speed. While Kanzaki chants something, Koro-sensei stole the residual horns prop on Karma's head.
After removing it, he continued helping Kanzaki float out of the stage.

I took a peek on the audience and they were left in complete shock.

Karma reached for his head, trying to feel the horns. He gave off a precious smile that caught everyone off-guard.

"Your cue now, let's end this flawlessly." Sumire said in her fighting pose.

"You can do it, Nakamura-san!" Ritsu said from Sumire's phone.

I smiled at them and took a deep breath.

I entered the stage and waited for the narration.

As I wait for the narration, I felt a hand snatched my own.

"Karma?" I asked in a low tone, hoping that no one from the audience will hear me.

"Ready?" I heard his confident voice.

"Whenever you are."

He gently pressed my hand and stopped holding it.

"The demon went to the village where the maiden lives."

The spotlight focused on Karma searching and asking the villager casts.

"Do you know where can I find the blind maiden?" He asked Toka.

"Do you mean her?" Toka pointed me.

The stage's spotlight focused on me who was making a flower crown.

I heard faint footsteps coming near me.

As the footsteps get nearer, the faster my heart beats.

Stupid heart. Why are you acting like this?

Karma poked my back that was facing him.

I turned and saw him wearing his addicting smile.

"Don't you think the time is right already?" He asked.

I gave him the sweetest smile I could make.

"You're exactly on time."

Even though the script only said that we would only hold hands, I hugged him.

I couldn't stop myself. It was like I was being pulled closer to him just like how a magnet and a metal works.

Everyone clapped their hands. It was ending...

"After that, the both of them became together and lived happily ever after."

No...

I don't want...

Don't end it...

"You know what," Karma held my head and hugged me back with his free arm. "I think I like you, Rio."

I couldn't say anything.

I was stunned.

I don't know why.

But one thing is for sure.

I am happy of what he said.
