With Delsin

Delsin was still outside. He was thinking about why he was about to kill Cicada.

Then Sam sped in front of him and said, "Delsin. We need you to watch the metas while Barry and I need to go to this meteor crash site."

Delsin says "Sure." and she runs him in and quickly gets into her suit, stops, and says "Let's go, Flash."

Flash says "Sure, Velocity. Banner Man, you're in charge while I'm gone."

Banner Man nods and they speed out of there.

With Barry

When the speedsters stop in place, they see a meteor and when Flash got closer, a black goo started to move out of the meteor.

Velocity says "What the hell is that?"

Flash says "I don't know. But... We can take it back to STAR and deal with it after Cicada."

Velocity nodded and said, "That's a good idea."

Then Flash walked up, but when he did... It crawled on him fused with him, and turned his suit black.

Velocity yelled, "Flash! Are you okay?"

Flash looks at his suit and it feels nice and powerful.

Flash smiled and said, "I feel great. Better even. I feel more energetic."

Velocity walked up and said, "Okay, we'll deal with this later, but we need to get back to the team at the safe house."

Flash says "Got it. Let's go."

At the Safe House

Banner Man was keeping an eye on everyone, then Flash came running in and Banner Man saw his suit and said, "Flash? You got new threads?"

Flash smiles and says "Yeah, but let's deal with this later, okay?"

Banner Man nods and they walk over to the group.

Later

Cecile had come over and she started to check on all the metas' feelings.

Cecile says "They're all terrified. I can feel it."

Flash says "Maybe now they believe us, Babe."

Cecile says "Hey, we're almost through this. We are going to get all of these people to safety."

Flash says "Even if we do, Cicada's not going to stop killing. Not until–"

Cecile interrupts "Until he's dead."

Flash says "I didn't say that."

Cecile says "You didn't have to, honey. The anger that I feel from you says it all."

Flash turns to Cecile and says "How am I supposed to feel? He almost killed our daughter."

Cecile says "Honey, I understand, I do. That man hurt our child. But this anger that you're feeling, I have felt it before... from Cicada. Honey, if you let it, this rage will consume you, the same way it's already consumed him."

Then she realized something and said softly "Wait, I have felt this anger from someone before."

She says "At CCPD. Oh, my god, Barry, I think I know who leaked the list."

Flash says "Then let's go get him."

Cecile says "No, no, no, you– you stay here. You get these metas to the drop. I can handle the rest."

Flash nods and she leaves the room.

Then Flash hears a voice say "He hurt our daughter, Barry. Kill him. Kill him."

Later

Flash and his team were waiting and he was pacing back and forth.

Then he heard a helicopter's blades whirring.

Frost walked up and said, "Boys and girls, your ride's here."

Banner Man says "Let's do this, guys."

Then Elongated Man saw something headed towards the helicopter and said, "What the hell?"

And it took out the landing gears on the helicopter and it was the dagger of Cicada.

Flash yells "Everybody, get back!"

Then a buzz of electricity was heard and when they looked at the door they saw Cicada walking towards them.

Cicada says "Thank you, Flash, Banner Man, for bringing them all to me."

Flash says "The chopper's not going to be able to land. Take everybody out the back and get them on it somehow."

Elongated Man says "Come on." and the metas follow him as Banner Man, Flash, and Frost stay back to fight Cicada.

Frost was about to go in for the attack and Flash stopped her and said, "No, he's mine."

Then he got into hand-to-hand combat with him.

Flash hit him across the face.

Then Banner Man's smoke dashed in and said, "You need some help?"

Flash smiles and says "All you, Banner Man."

Banner Man smiles and his eyes flash with smokekicked him begins to hit him hard as well.

Then Cicada blocks their attacks hits them back and twists their arms.

Flash gave him a kick to the stomach and Banner Man came in and blocked a punch from Cicada, and Flash punched him in the stomach.

Flash blocked a punch and Banner Man punched him in the stomach Flash hit him across the face and He went in for another punch, but Cicada blocked it and pushed him back and kicked him.

Cicada says "You can't win this fight."

Frost walks over and says "I bet I can. We haven't been formally introduced. They call me Killer Frost. Let me show you why." she formed an ice blade and she got into a blade fight as they blocked their attacks with their blades.

He blocked another attack, but when she twirled around to cut him on his shoulder she missed and went in to attack from above and he ducked out of the way.

Then He attacked above and she blocked it with her blade and cut him as he backed away and grunted in pain.

Flash and Banner Man get up, and Cicada fires an energy orb and knocks them back to the ground.

Cicada threw his dagger at Frost and Caitlin's voice in Frost's head said, "Killer Frost, duck!" and she did and it went flying out of the building.

Then Cicada summed the blade back and when it got close Frost fired his cryokinesis at it and it stayed in place she turned to Banner Man and Flash and said as her ice crackles "Give him Hell, Flash, Smokes!"

Both heroes go speeding or dashing towards Cicada as they continue to leave blows not giving him a chance to fight back.

Then out of nowhere, Flash screams as tentacles come out of his suit and he begins to lay the smack down on him as he continues to land blow aftelow after blow.

Then his tentacle comes out of his arms and hits Cicada with a tentacle, then another tentacle lifts Cicada up in the air and throws him to the ground.

Banner Man dashed in and fired a smoke missile at him and knocked him back.

In STAR Labs

Sherloque says "The Meta's are on the move. Bravo"

Cecile says "Something's wrong with Barry."

He says "What? I've never seen this kind of reads from Barry's suit."

And Nora and Kallie walk over.

With Flash and Banner Man

Flash started to give him multiple speed punches as Delsin smiled from afar.

At STAR Labs

Nora says "He's channeling over 2.86 billion joules of energy."

Kallie says "That's a combined equivalent of– of almost three lightning bolts."

Sherloque says "Cicada's powers allow him to sustain injury but not that much."

Cecile says "Barry. Barry."

With Flash and Banner Man

Flash stopped in front of Cicada and flew up in the air with his tentacles out and went flying towards him knocking him to the ground.

At STAR Labs

Cecile says "Barry and Delsin are not going to stop."

With Flash and Banner Man

Both heroes were breathing heavily and they said, in unison "You're never gonna hurt our daughters again!"

Black lightning formed in Barry's hand as he lifted him up and Delsin ready his smoke punch and they yelled, "Aah!"

And right as they were about to punch him, voices yelled, "Dad!"

Both of them stop in place as they see Nora and Kallie in their suits.

The girls say in unison "No." shaking their heads.

Banner Man and Flash let go of Cicada and walked over to their daughters to hug them, but then Cicada got up and summoned his dagger and flew away.

XS says "Oh, I'm sorry. I let him get away."

Flash says "No, you two brought us back." and they hug their daughters.

Later At STAR Labs

Barry walks in with his mask off and says "Alright, the Feds have processed Norvock and the other meats, giving them new identities, so everybody's safe."

Samantha says "Satellite hasn't registered any unaccounted-for dark matter so, wherever Dwyer is, his dagger's not in use."

Frost scoffs "Psh, after the beating Barry and Smokes gave him, ain't no way he's using that dagger anytime soon."

Everyone looked at her and she said, "What? He got what he deserved."

Sherloque says "Oh, no, I think we appreciate your groove. Also, I think the Killer Frost, Banner Man, and the Flash combination is enough to maybe have Dwyer not want to show his face around here any time soon."

Kallie and Nora noticed their dads were not themselves and asked, "Dads, are you two okay?"

Delsin says "We're good."

Barry says "What matters is that you two are okay." and they hug their daughters as they chuckle.

Ralph says "How's it feel to be up and running again?"

Both of the girls yell in unison "Super frickin' schway."

Frost says "Uh, wanna know what's not super frickin' schway? Cicada knowing exactly when and where our secret transport was taking place."

Sherloque says "Mm. Inside job, right? Cicada clearly has an inside man, only–"

Samantha asks "Only what kind of cop would help Cicada kill innocent people?"

Barry's phone goes off and he looks at it and says "One that's going to have to answer to me wife, D.A. Cecile Allen."

Samantha noticed Barry was still in the black suit and said, "Barry, are you gonna get out of that thing?"

Barry looks down and says "Sure."

As black goo starts to crawl on his body it changes into black clothes.

The team says "Woah. That's new."

Barry says "Yeah, it is."

Later

At Cecile and Barry's Apartment

Samantha, Delsin, Barry, Cecile, Nora, and Kallie were eating food.

Nora sighs and says "Okay, 47 tacos is officially my limit."

Cecile says "I think that's anyone's limit, honey."

Barry says "A healing speedster's gotta eat."

Nora says "Healed, Dad. I'm fine. I promise." she and Kalle get up and Nora puts a hand on her dad's shoulder.

Nora says "Hey, uh, dinner again tomorrow night?"

Cecile says "Yeah."

Barry quickly gets up and says "Yeah, Nora? Um... I just... just want you to know how much we love you."

Cecile gets up and puts an arm around Barry's waist and Delsin and Samantha get up.

The girls smile hug their parents and speed away afterward.

Cecile says "See? She's back to her old self, honey. And so are you."

Barry says "No, I'm not. In fact, Delsin and I think we'll ever be the same. All of this has made us realize that, I don't know, we just–"

Delsin says "We never knew we were capable of even caring for someone as much as we care for our daughters."

Cecile and Samantha say in unison "We did."

Samantha says "For the little time we've gotta know each other, you have shown you have a big heart, Delsin. You care for family, probably more than ever since Reggie's death."

Delsin nods and says "That's probably why I reacted the way I did."

Samantha says "And I get it, Delsin. I do."

Delsin smiles.

Cecile puts a hand on Barry's shoulder as he's looking at her and says "I've never met anyone with a bigger heart than you, Barry. So it's no surprise to me that you are a fantastic father. Just like you're a fantastic husband."

Then Barry realizes something and says "Cicada's a father, too. What if the key to defeating him is appealing to his heart?"

The girls and Delsin ask in unison "How do we do that?"

Barry says "By saving his child. We need to wake up Grace."
