"You know what? I'm not even going to ask."

I groaned at hearing Reggie's words. It only took Delsin and I a few minutes to reach the officer, however, even after we had landed Delsin refused to set me back down.

"Yeah," I heard Delsin reply sheepishly. "That's probably for the best, Reg."

"Not that I don't like this wonderful view of the brick wall Delsin," I cut in. "But I think that it would be best if, I don't know....YOU PUT ME THE HELL DOWN!!!!"

My threat seemed to only entertain Delsin more. "Hmm, I don't know. You're a little cranky right now Bella. Tell you what, cool off a bit and then I'll think about setting you free."

What came out of my mouth next was what could only be described as a mixture between a groan and a growl. "....Delsin.....I swear, when I get my powers back I am going to make you wish that you never broke into the D.U.P.'s suspect pin!"

"Oh, come on Bella. You don't mean that."

"Delsin, I think that you should listen to her, man. She looks seriously pissed." Reggie advised his brother.

"I don't know, man. I mean, it was your fault that I had to carry her like this." Delsin retorted.

"Me? Just how is this my fault?"

"Well, if you hadn't interrupted our little-Oof!" I kicked Delsin in the stomach before he could finish. It was embarrassing enough what had happened back in the alley, but for him to just go about announcing it to the world was unbearable.

'I mean, the least he could do is try to be more discreet. At least then I would still have some dignity after today.' I thought.

Delsin tried to recollect himself. "Bella, you've got some serious problems, you know that?"

I couldn't help but scoff at his comment. "Yeah, and one of them is named Delsin."

Off in the background I could hear Reggie trying hard not to laugh.

"That's cold, Bella. Real cold."

Now it was my turn to tease the conduit. "Did I strike a nerve, Banner Man?" Feeling Delsin twitch at his most hated nickname brought a victorious smirk to my lips. 'That'll teach him not to mess with me.'

By now Reggie thought it best that he step in. The last thing he wanted was to have two conduits fighting each other. "Alright you guys. That's enough." He announced sternly. "As much as I would love to see Isabella beat the shit outta you, I think that we should just get this whole "power thing" done and over with."

For a moment everyone was quiet. "....Fine." Delsin muttered. "But this isn't over, Bella! What? Did you forget that we're living together now?" My smirk instantly faded. 'Shit,' Was all I thought.

Delsin looked back at his brother. "Guess I'll call Fetch and let her know we're here."

"No need." A voice in the distance called out. "I'm already here."
