The Conduit
UA high, a place were promising young students go to learn how to be heroes, not too long ago, just standing here would have been a fever dream for Izuku but there he was.
Lightning arched around his fingers, imperceptible to everyone, as he stared at the school's entrance. 'This is it… the next step in my journey to become a hero!' He thought with a determined face as he took a step and immediately stumbled over his own foot but he caught himself just before he fell over completely.
'So much for not making a fool of myself…' He thought as he winced in embarrassment, silently hoping that nobody else had saw his little trip. Thankfully, it seemed as though not a single person did but he couldn't be to careful these days.
…
He bite back a groan of annoyance, of all the people he had to sit next to, it had to be his old friend turned bully, Katsu- sorry Kuntsuki Bakuhoe. Frustrated, all Izuku could do was grit his teeth quietly as he bit back from firing any and all insults that he could think of towards his bully.
"And there you have it folks! Now any questions?!?" Present Mic loudly asked his audience once he finished his explanation.
"I have a question, sir!" A blue haired boy called out as he stood up from his seat. Izuku didn't pay him much thought as the boy, foolishly proceeded to question Mic on the final robot, 'I'm guessing he didn't pay much attention to what Mic had said…' He thought dryly as he skimmed through the pamphlet a second time to check if he had missed anything.
After a few moments of looking, he heard the boy finish his small tirade before looking up just in time to see the same boy bow his head and sit back down. 'Geez… and I thought Bakugou was bad…' He thought before noticing his former friend scowling at him in contempt, frowning to himself, Izuku looked down and realised that the bugger was looking at his card! On reflex, he jerked his body backward and turned to face it away from Kuntsuki so that he could read his card in peace.
"The nerve of some people…" He muttered quietly as he looked down at his card, thankfully, his old friend got the message and, with a quiet scoff, turned away and looked at his own card.
…
Several minutes later, and Izuku was dressed up in a blue tracksuit performing some small mental exercises as he waited for the practical part of the exam to start. It felt weird not having the familiar weight of his chain wrapped around his right arm but it was a small price to pay if he wanted to get into UA.
Once he had finished his stretches, Izuku had began doing a head count of everyone there before analyzing all of them for any information that could give him the edge he might need to pass the exam. Eventually, his eyes settled on tired looking, purple haired boy who seemed to be looking around nervously.
Feeling sorry for him, Izuku began making his way over to him and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "It's going to be alright." He told him before glancing over at the gate, "If your worried that your Quirk won't be very effective on the fake villains then watch them closely for any power buttons because I'm sure UA has taken into account that not all Quirks give everyone an advantage in fights." He reassured him before removing his hand and walking off towards the gate, just as they began to open.
Within seconds, Midoriya raced forwards blasting fake villains with his lightning as he heard Present Mic shout, "Well, what are you waiting for?!? That kid has the right idea!"
He smirked inwardly, thank god for all those lessons he learned from the Ray Sphere. If it weren't for the fact that he could drain some of his powers in it to create a bleeding effect, he doubted he'd have ever learned how to properly control his powers or have the strength to tell his mom about the bullying he experienced at Aldera Junior High.
He scanned the buildings, looking for any climbable areas that he could use to scale. He needed a vantage point to scope out and hopefully use as a snipping point with his Precision Bolts. Sensing something behind him, Izuku acted on instinct and lashed out with a Gigawatt Blade, cutting a 3-pointer in half.
With a sigh of relief, he extended his hand and drained the the rest of the fake villains of its electrical energy. As much as he wanted to use his other conduit abilities, Izuku couldn't because it was already suspicious enough that he developed a lightning Quirk. That's another thing he learnt from the Ray Sphere, more specifically from the stored data the Ray Sphere had on Cole MacGrath - how to be cynical and paranoid.
As much as he didn't want to admit it, the Ray Sphere had been a real eye-opener when it came to being a hero. He realised that he couldn't walk into a situation and always expect the best outcome nor could he make a plan and not expect it to go wrong somehow, as such, when he entered his Designated Battle Area, he immediately gunned for the tallest building he could find and began to plan out his strategy.
As it turned out, that proved to be his best decision as it helped him mark down multiple faux-villains and helped him learn the lay of the land. With that information in hand, he began to rain down multiple Megawatt Hammers destroying any all faux-villains in its range. Thankfully, there were no other participants in the area, so he didn't have to worry about being disqualified.
Six minutes later, Izuku took a small step back to wipe the sweat from his brow, a small smile on his face. From his estimation, he gained roughly over seventy-eight villain points, which should be more then enough to pass. Suddenly, the ground began to shake violently causing Midoriya to nearly lose his footing.
"What the heck-!" His voice trailed off as he saw a massive faux-villain making it's way through the battle center. "Oh… So that's the zero pointer…" he muttered as he glanced down at the fleeing participants and then at the massive pile of damaged faux-villains.
"Damn… I don't think I have enough juice in me to beat that thing." With a disappointed frown, he turned to leave but as he did so, a cry of pain reached his ears. Eyes wide with shock, he whirled around to locate it's source, and saw a girl with a bowl cut hair style pinned beneath some rubble as the Zero-pointer rapidly approached.
His anger spiked as he noticed that nobody else was trying to help here and without realising it, he had already dropped down from his vantage point and began racing towards the girl, lightning forming all around his body as he drained any and all faux-villains near him for power.
"IONIC!" Izuku began as he got closer to the zero pointer, his arms extend upward while lightning surged from his body, "STORM!" No sooner had the words left his mouth when a massive lightning struck down from the sky and vaporized the Zero-pointer where it stood.
Everyone froze in shock at the display of power that Izuku had displayed, while he uses his kinetic pulse to slowly remove the rubble from the girls leg.
"You okay?" He asked once the last piece of rubble was removed. "Yeah… I think so." She replied as she rubbed her leg which was bent at an unhealthy angle. "You sure about that?" He asked with an arched eyebrow before crouching down and extending his hand out to her leg, "Here, this should help a bit." He said as he used his heal pulse to temporarily deaden her legs nerves.
"What did you do?" She asked him once he removed his hand, "I simple used a low level shock to temporarily deaden your nerves so you don't feel the pain until you can get proper medical treatment. "It's a useful trick in closing open wounds, restarting hearts or just reading the nerves around people's injuries so that it won't hurt as bad." He explained before standing up to leave as the bell rung, signaling that the exam had finally finished.
…
Meanwhile, in the exam room, the examinees stood in shocked silence as they tried to process what they had just saw while a small rat/mouse/bear hybrid cackled maniacally.
"Well then, it certainly seems like this year's crop of students will be fun!" It exclaimed as it took a sip of its drink, "Don't you think so?" It asked no one in particular.

Done! Finally! This took longer to plan out then expected but then again I'm very pleased with the results, please tell me what you guys think of this. Also yeah, Izuku will have the powers of both Cole and Delsin. He'll also have all the karma locked abilities as well. Meaning any evil karma powers are available to him if he wishes to use them. He'll be fighting in a similar manner to Delsin for his CQC but he will eventually get the Amo at somepoint in the story, probably around the I Island Arc.
If you want a basis of Izuku's hero outfit then it's basically Delsin's good Karma outfit.
Also side note I've done a small change to the Hidden Ones Outfits if you want to go check it out, because I've changed Jaune's casual outfit for the black version of Edward Kenway's outfit.
Till next time!
