Ayana's P. O. V

I barge inside the room to find the entire room in a mess. All the bed sheets are turned upside down, their suitcases are open with their clothes shattered around. To top it all, none of the three are in the room.

"Rochelle, Vihaan's in the washroom, I'll call you later," I lie and hang up before she can say anything else.

"Ayana, what's wrong?" Amber asks me and Krisanne explains the scene to her while I move into the room cautiously.

Amber and Krisanne come in behind me and go towards the bathroom and closet while I move towards the balcony. It's pretty unusual because I didn't hear them leave and even if they are pranking us, why would they possibly mess the entire room up.

I move into the balcony and look to my right, to see its empty. One more thing that I notice is that in the balcony everything is still in place and kept properly.

So, it is actually a setup.

Nice try Vihaan.

I turn to my left and instantly someone is screaming into my face in a horrible voice. The face with covered with a mask and barely inches away from my face.

I stand there with a bored expression waiting for him to finish with his stupidity.

"Enough with it Vihaan, you failed, again," I rub it in his face and he backs off and takes his mask off.

Surprisingly, it's Ethan behind the mask with a frown on his face.

"You didn't get scared? Did you hear me?" he asks and I shake my head.

"No and no. I think Vihaan forgot to mention this one tiny detail, that I'm not really scared of anything," I say with a mischievous smile and he narrows his eyebrows at me.

"Oh really, not even from that?" he points at something behind me.

I turned to look at what he is talking about, and much to my dismay, it's a frog.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," I scream and jump on him, hugging him tightly.

"Scare it away please-" I say and turn to look at it again. That's when I realise it's Vihaan's old rubber frog.

Please tell me I didn't fall for that.

I turn with an annoyed expression, my breathing still heavy. Adrenaline is rushing through my entire body right now and I'm trying my level best to control it.

"Vihaan is so dead," I mumble with a determined look on my face and Ethan is busy staring at me with an amused expression.

"What?" I yell and he shakes his head.

"Nothing. Now, can I put you down? You're heavy," he asks me and that's when I realise that I have my legs wrapped around his waist and my hands around his neck. I nod awkwardly and he puts me down gently.

I glare at him and he just raises his eyebrows at me.

"You didn't have to necessarily help him," I roll my eyes at him and walk towards the railing.

"Well, I'm not a party pooper," he comes to stand beside me and leans on the railing.

"It takes guts, to do what you did," I say and he gives me a surprised look.

"Why would you say that?" he asks me and I shrug.

"Today in the morning, when I walked in on you shouting at the clerk, did you notice the entire crowd disappear?" I ask and he nods.

"That's the kind of reputation and effect I have on people," I say and give him a sideways glance.

"Well unfortunately, it doesn't work on me," he says and I'm about to argue when Krisanne's scream catches my attention.

I rush back inside to see Vihaan rolling on the floor and laughing and Krisanne swinging the pillow at him.

"You freaking douche! I'm going to kill you," she yells. Rey is saving Amber from getting hurt in the very violent exchange between the two idiots.

"Vihaan, not cool," I say and walk slowly near him.

"I got you this time, didn't I?" Vihaan smirks at me and I shake my head at him.

"Almost," I say and he laughs out loud.

"You're in denial, you believed something is wrong when you saw the room," he retorts and I shake my head at him.

"I almost believed you, but this gave you away," I say pointing at the wallets, phones and a couple of watches kept neatly on the table, untouched.

"How is that?" Vihaan asks me and crosses his arms on his chest.

"Well, if it was really a break in, the robber wouldn't touch the suitcases if all the valuables are out in the open, not unless he wanted your underwear, which he didn't. So yeah," I said and sat on the bed.

"And you couldn't warm me that it's a prank? You do realise that he pounced on me, yelled in my ear and almost gave me and Amber a heart attack right?" Krisanne yells at me.

"I wasn't sure," I said and Ethan who was watching the entire scene enfold along with Rey decided to speak up.

"How did you become sure then?" he asks.

"The balcony was not touched at all, if this robber was crazy enough to do this to the room, he would definitely mess the balcony as well," I explain and Rey smiles at me, making his interest very clear.

"We did scare you anyway," Vihaan taunts me and I glare at him.

"And you will pay for it," I say and remove my phone from my pocket.

I dial Rochelle's number and she picks it up in two rings. Vihaan looks confused at first but slowly understanding falls over his face, he leaps to take the phone from me but I dodge him and hide behind Krisanne. I smirk at him before putting the phone on speaker.

"Ayana? Are you there?" a concerned Rochelle speaks from the other end.

"Yeah Rochelle, I'm right here. Vihaan came out of the washroom right now, with a girl," I say and smile innocently at him. He glares at me and mouths 'I'll kill you'.

"Ohh, okay," she says and hangs up.

To be honest, I'm a little shocked that she hung up. I expected her to fight.

"Uh-oh," I say and Krisanne bangs her palm on her forehead. Vihaan gives me a dirty look and I bite my lower lip, clearly regretting it.

I look over to the guest trio to see that Ethan is shaking his head at me, Rey is whispering to Amber who is nodding her head in understanding.

"I'm really sleepy, I'm going to my room now. Ethan, tomorrow morning, stay ready. The team will be coming, we will be going for a swim," I say and exit the room with my bruised ego.

"You too Rey, we are starting our tour around Mumbai tomorrow," I hear Krisanne informing Rey before I hear her exiting the room. I turn around to see she is walking really fast with Amber, trying to catch up with me.

I remove my phone to clean up the mess I created. I call Rochelle again and she still picks up just after two rings.

"Hello," a soft and sad voice speaks from the other end.

"Hey Rochelle, firstly I was joking. Vihaan pulled a prank on me and I was trying to get back at him by instigating you against him. Nothing like that happened. I'm sorry. Secondly, I want to remind you about swimming practice tomorrow. It's the same time, but the place is changed. I'm messaging you the address, inform the others and be there on time,"I say and I hear her sighing on the other end.

"Alright," she says and I hang up without saying anything else. I chuck the phone on the bed and proceed to the balcony for some fresh air. Today has been exhausting and I need these moments of peace right now.

"Thank you," Krisanne tells me and I don't need to be a genius to know what she's referring to.

"I'm sleeping now," she informs me and I nod.

I stay there, simply breathing and enjoying the silence before I walk back into the room to see them both sleeping on the bed, leaving absolutely no space for me.

"Very convenient," I say and shake my head before making my way to the couch.

Let's see what tomorrow holds for us...
