Last chapter of day one :p

"Well, so what exactly will we, as in the academic team, have to do?" Rey asks me and I start playing with the chain in my neck.

"There will be multiple fun activities which will test your knowledge about different stuff like your world knowledge, science knowledge, basic social sciences and everything about India and more specifically Mumbai. They will ask you things like about local food, clothes, traditions, culture, tourist spots, etc. Similarly in case of India and the world, but that will not be in so much detail. A few science and logic questions as well. Its not going to be like an exam, it's going to be in the format of a game," I explain and he nods, looking at me with his full attention.

"Have you ever been here, like to Mumbai?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"Okay, so do you know anything about Mumbai?" I ask and he shakes his head again. I bite my lip in thought.

This is going to be more difficult than I thought.

"So, how do you prefer learning, sitting with a book of knowledge or through experience?" I ask.

"Through experience, it's easier that way," he says and I shrug.

"Okay, so we are going for Mumbai darshan tommorow," I say using a Hindi word and he gives me a puzzled look.

"What is that?"

"Well, Mumbai darshan means basically roaming around Mumbai to see the entire city, you got to remember this. Infact, you will have to remember very piece of information I give you, you will need it," I instruct and he nods.

"Just remember that whenever somebody uses the word darshan, they mean that they are going to visit that particular special place, to see the place or something important that is there at the place, okay?" I explain and he nods in understanding.

Just then Ayana and Vihaan finally reach and I show her my disapproval over the stunts she has been pulling all day. After our little exchange, both of them go and sit next to Amber. Rey eyes Vihaan with suspicion and I decide to save his ass before it causes us any trouble.

"Don't worry about him Rey, he means no harm. He is just trying to be friends. Amber is safe with him, you have my word," I say and he looks at me briefly before looking back at them. Vihaan is joking around with her, as usual and Rey is inspecting them closely. After a little while, he nods his head at me.

"You're right. His intentions seem nice," he says and Ayana decides to pick up a fight with Ethan.

This girl is getting on my nerve now. She is the head of the student body and she is behaving like a seven year old.

I calm them down and drill some sense into Ayana's head. Rey's comment about my lecture being sappy hits me but I let it go.

Not the first time.

Finally, the first good news arrives when Ayana tells us that she would be living with us and with that we walk out the door to get to our houses to get our stuff.

"So Amber, you understood the way right? We took the room nearest to the kitchen just for you," I say with a cheeky smile.

"Yeah Amber, mostly one of us will be with you all the time, but just in case we behave stupid and you're hungry, don't feel shy. Just go and do whatever you want. Consider this your home," Ayana explains further and Amber finds her way to the bed using her stick. I insisted on guiding her but she said she wanted to manage herself and I didn't argue with that.

"Liars," Vihaan says and walks into the room. Ayana and I exchange a we-are-busted look. We shoot Vihaan a warning look but he just smirks.

"Why liars?" Amber asks while our warning looks change to pleading looks.

"Liars because their intentions behind getting this room were not only so you could move about easily, it is also because these two are the biggest food robbers of the century," he exposes us and Amber laughs out loud.

"Shush, you can't tell anyone, it's our secret," I say and she shakes her head at us before putting her finger on her lips.

"You're a dick," Ayana curses him and he scoffs.

"Now please get out, boys are strictly prohibited here," I say and push him out of the room. He rolls his eyes and walks out. I settle on the bed beside Amber who is in between of me and Ayana.

Ayana is lying down in deep thought and I can tell Amber is finding the silence uncomfortable.

"So Amber, tell us something about yourself," I ask her and she shrugs.

"I honestly have nothing to say. I go to school, attend class and come back home. I have no friends and my house maid takes care of me," she says and my heart sinks when she says that.

Ayana gives me a questioning look before changing the topic.

"What about your brother," she asks her.

Yeah Ayana, amazing way of changing the topic.

"He in his own anger forgets he has a sister as well," she says with a forced smile. Ayana bites her tongue and I shake my head at her.

"Don't worry about it Amber, I'm up for sharing my mother. Anyway, I share her with these two idiots," I say and Ayana yells in protest.

"It's because you love us."

"No, it's because you didn't give me an option," I counter and Amber chuckles.

"Why? You're parents are never in town?" she asks Ayana and the atmosphere tenses again.

So much for trying to cheer them up.

"Well they are not alive anymore. They died when I was four," Ayana explains and Amber's expression drops.

Just then Ayana's phone starts to ring and a evil smile forms on her face.

"Who is it?" I ask her and she smiles mischievously at me.

"Rochelle," she sings and I chuckle, understanding exactly what's going on in her head.

"Today is the first time I'm happy you gave her my number," she says and I nod.

"I told you, you will thank me one day," I say and a very confused Amber turns her head from one side to another.

"Rochelle is one of our friends-"

"Acquaintance," Ayana cuts me off.

"Whatever, and she is really into Vihaan, who makes a conscious effort to ignore her," I explain to Amber and she smiles though it doesn't really reach her eyes.

Do I smell something here?

"Yeah, and we are up for some fun," Ayana says and picks up the phone.

"Yes Rochelle," she says.

"No, your not disturbing us,"

"Yeah, Vihaan is with me,"

"Yeah, I'll give him the phone," she says and moves out of the room before signing us to follow her.

We make out way to the boys room and she knocks the door. They don't answer and Ayana being Ayana, barges in anyway.

But as soon as we walk into the door, the sight...

Or maybe this is not the last day one chapter :p

All other days will move much faster I promise :D
