Ayana's P. O. V.

"Yes sir? I speak into the phone.

"Ayana, the management wants to see all our college teams after two days on Tuesday. Inform them, get them prepared. I spoke to them about your concern and so they decided to test our foreign students as well. They will have to make sure they perform well, because if they don't, they will be kicked out," my vice principal barks orders at me and I'm left shocked.

"Okay sir, will do," I say and he hangs up.

Krisanne and Amber look up at me, expecting me to fill them in. I sigh before checking the time to see its almost six in the evening.

"Its almost six guys. Just imagine how much we spoke," I chuckle nervously before continuing,"anyway, sir called. All our college teams will have to perform in front of the management. They want to test them," I finish, leaving the part where he said it's partially happening because of me, out.

Krisanne bites her lower lip in concern and Amber puts her arms around her knees, her expression morphing into a serious one.

"Come on, let's inform the boys. I hope those monkeys have left by now," I say and get up. I walk out and those two girls follow me out. Krisanne moves to guide Amber but she politely denies, saying she has memorised the way now.

All the three of us walk out into the hallway. I reach the hall, already to kick Kabir and gang out. I had told Vihaan to call us when they leave and he didn't, which means those monkeys are still here. I enter the hall and immediately scream.

"You guys don't have a home or what? Just because I allowed you'll in, you guys settle down like it's your own house?!" I yell while walking in to see the boys still stuck on the couch, their eyes fixed on the screen and the gaming consoles in their hands.

Once they heard me scream, they all turned and stood up in attention position, the consoles falling from their hands. They all were looking around, utterly surprised. They spotted me and stopped turning.

I stood there, with my hands on my chest, looking around the room. Amber and Krisanne also look shocked with my outburst. Rey runs a hand down his face, while Vihaan has a hand on chest, his breathing uneven. Ethan mimics my position, glaring at me for my outburst.

I don't find anyone and I realise, I may have...you know...overreacted or reacted early.

"Our homes are like really really far. So yeah, we kind of got comfortable," Ethan barks out and I narrow my eyes at him.

Vihaan walks ahead and trys to be really calm."Why the hell are you trying to kick us out?"

"Well, I thought Kabir and people were still here. It's not my fault though, I had told you to call us out once they go," I explain and he sighs.

"Well, they didn't come at all."

Krisanne decided to make her presence felt from behind."So why didn't you guys call us out? And you'll were playing on the x-box for so many hours?"

This caught him off guard and he looked like a deer caught in the headlights. Rey starts to look everywhere and whistles slowly while Ethan is glaring, now at Krisanne.

"You girls were gossiping for so long!?" he said, mimicking Krisanne's tone."Yeah!" both Vihaan and Rey shout after him. Krisanne and Amber exchanged guilty looks while I rolled my eyes.

"Anyway, I'm here to inform you guys that sir- as in the vice principal just called me. He said that on Tuesday, after two days, the management is going to test all our college teams. There is going to be a special test for the both of you. If you'll don't perform, you'll might get kicked out," I finished and Ethan scratched his jaw with his index finger, his expression mixture of thought and worry. Rey just groaned out loud.

"Who the fuck gives them such ridiculous ideas?" Rey says and that seems to snap something in Vihaan. He looks up at me, narrowing his eyes and crossing his arms slowly. I bit my lip and started casually looking at everybody and everything, trying to act all normal and failing miserably.

"Ayana..."

"Yeah, okay fine. This may have happened because of my outburst that day in the vp's office. But you can't blame me, I'm right and you know it."

My outburst seemed to leave everyone in shock, everyone except for Amber and Ethan. Ethan was busy glaring at me while Amber somehow found it amusing.

"You planned on getting us kicked out of the team?" Ethan sneered at me and I frowned at him, taking a step towards him.

"No. I planned on making sure you earn that spot, not just walk in there like you own it. People worked hard for that spot and when I was put under the dilemma of kicking someone out, I didn't quite enjoy it. Our education system here is very different, and quite unfair as well. Those people needed the certificates, I need the certificate. So you should be happy you're at least being given a chance to fight for it," I say and move to walk out of there, not before adding the last bit.

"Lastly, now that we have tryouts, no monkey business for the next two days."

With that, I walk out and straight to my childhood room.

It's almost midnight now.

After I barged into the room, I had closed it and stayed there almost till eight at night. I moved out to find everyone were in their respective rooms. I moved to the kitchen to find Chinese takeout there. I grabbed it and went back to my childhood room.

Why? Well because, it's awkward.

After I finished my dinner, I kind off fell asleep and woke up some time ago. It's pitch dark and I'm hungry.

Perfect time for a midnight snack, huh?

I move out of the room and steer comfortably through the hallways even in the dark.

Blame it on my obsession with this place.

When I reach the hall, I hear someone follow me. It's dark so I thought it's pointless to confront, so I continued walking and walked out the front door. I walked two steps and leaned on the wall, waiting for my follower to emerge.

In two seconds, none other than Ethan Raynott walked out that door in shorts and loose t-shirt, rubbing his half open eyes. He looks the other way first and then looks at me, jumping back slightly as he does.

"Where's Rey?" he asks and I roll my eyes.

"Now don't make excuses to show you weren't following me," I said and this time he rolled his eyes.

"I felt him get up from beside me and go somewhere, that why I followed him, I saw you and followed you thinking it was him," he explains and I nod before shrugging.

I turn to go when he stops.

"Where are you going but?" he asks and I turn around and stuff my hands in the pockets of my sweatpants before answering.

"Midnight snack."

"Kitchen is that way."

"Eating midnight snack from the kitchen is too mainstream."

His eyes go wide and he tried to look shocked, giving me the are-you-crazy look but his eyes gave his amusement away.

"You're going alone at this time?"

He asks and I nod before offering,"Want to come?"

He looked to be in thought for a few seconds before he looked down at his clothes and then back up at me before shrugging and walking towards me.

I took the hint and the lift bell rang just then, signalling it's arrival. We got in and got down, silent all our way down.

The lift doors open and I move out, him following me silently.

We reached Vihaan's scooter and that's when he decides to break the silence.

"What are we eating?" he asks and sigh before answering.

"I don't know. We'll drive through, we'll eat whatever we find first."

With that, both of us sat on the scooter and drove out.

"Thanks for not killing me."

I turned to look at Ethan who just managed to spit out that comment. He was holding the back of the scooter hard, his knuckles turning white.

"You're welcome," I add with a smile as I hang the helmet on the rear view mirror.

Yeah, I wore a helmet.

I hop down and walk to the pani puri guy standing nearby. It's a Saturday night today and this area is known for his pani puri so we found him...luckily.

He was just about to start packing up when he saw me and immediately recognised me.

Who wouldn't recognise a regular customer who specifically comes at 12:00 am?

Yeah, I lied to Ethan. I don't know why, I just did. I very well knew I'm going to end up here.

"Bohot Dino baad aj?"
(after so many days today?)

"Haa, do plate dedo jaldi."
(Yes, please give me two plates quickly)

"What is this?" Ethan asks me from behind me and I look over my shoulder to see him analysing everything.

"It's called Pani puri. It's a mixture of...alot of stuff," I say and he still inspects everything before scrunching up his nose.

"All this stuff can make you sick, it's unhygienic," he bends down and whispers in my ear.

I roll my eyes."Breathing can lead to chocking, don't breathe."

He narrows his eyes at me."All I'm trying to say is why don't you eat from a proper shop, why roadside?"

"That guy already has his cars and home. This guy on the road, on the other hand, is struggling. My money will help him more."

He looks at me, observing me while the guy gave the two plates and I handed one to Ethan.

"Why you're so stuck up?" I ask him and he narrows his eyes at me.

"What do you mean?" he asks and I chew the puri I just put in before talking.

"What I mean is that, why you so scared of taking risks? The ride you were scared. You don't want to eat something unhealthy. Why can't just just loosen up and live a little?" I ask him and clears his throat.

"Well, you could say I've been brought up like that."

I nod and my plate of food gets over. He finishes his plate as well and opposite to my expectation, he is not screaming or yelling that it's spicy or anything. He looks oddly calm.

We move back to the bike and I add before climbing on.

"You know I won't tell your father that you lived a little."

A/N - Finally day two ends. *sighs*

Now only day two in Krisanne and Amber's point of view in one chapter each.

The rest of days will be four chapters max. Only the important moments.

The next two days will move in more fast forward because they will be mostly practising and stuff.
