haven't uou taken enough from me?

MONTHS LATER, Aria and Sam arrived at the Mystery spot to meet up with Booby who was more than surprised and happy to see them.

"It's good to see you, boy." Bobby looked at the short girl. "You too, Aria." The hazel eyes girl nodded, face emotionless. "You cut your hair from the last time I saw ya." She nodded again, looking at her chin length hair.

"What are we doing here, Bobby?" She asked, voice cracking.

"Well, it's the last place we're sure the Trickster worked his magic."

"So?"

"So you want this thing? I found a summoning ritual to bring the Trickster here."

"What do we need?" Sam asked, determined to do anything to get his brother back.

"Blood."

"How much blood?" Aria asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Ritual says near a gallon. And it's gotta be fresh, too."

"Meaning we have to bleed a person dry," Sam stated.

"And it's gotta be tonight. Or not for another fifty years," Bobby told them, scratching his forehead.

"I'll do it." They turned to Aria who had spoken up.

"No." Sam shook his head.

"You want Dean back so bad?" Bobby handed out a knife to Sam. "Fine." Aria eyed the knife, something not feeling right. "Better me than a civilian."

"You're crazy, Bobby. I'm not killing you," Sam told him.

"Oh, now I'm the crazy one. Look, Sam, Aria, I'm old, I'm coming near the end of my trail. But you both can keep fighting. Saving folk. But you need Dean. Let me get him back to you both." Aria nodded and stepped forward, grabbing the knife. She discreetly gave Sam a look and he understood. Bobby turned around and got to his knees. "Just make it quick."

"Okay." Aria looked to Sam and nodded. She let the stake slide from her sleeve and into her hand. She grabbed him around the throat and staked him in the back. The tip coming out of his chest. "I might've not known Bobby well, but you're not him." She twisted the stake, blood coming out of the wound.

Sam started panicking as the body did nothing but Aria knew what this was.

A trick.

Seconds later, the body vanished and Aria smirked. The stake flew over her head; they turned to face the trickster, him holding the stake.

"You're right. I was just screwing with you. Pretty good, though, Aria. Smart. Let me tell you, whoever said Dean was the dysfunctional one has never seen either of you with a sharp object in your hands. Holy Full Metal Jacket."

Aria rolled her eyes and stepped forward, snarling, "Bring him back."

"Who, Dean?" He asked, raising his brows, grinning. "Didn't my girl send you flowers? Dean's dead. He ain't coming back. His soul's downstairs doing the hellfire rumba as we speak."

"Just take us back to that Tuesday — uh — Wednesday—when it all started. Please. We won't come after you, I swear," Aris begged, pleaded, tears storming down her cheeks for the first time in months. Her mind was constantly on finding the Trickster and saving Dean that she didn't have time for any other emotions or thoughts. Saving Dean consumed her every being:

"You swear?"

"Yes." Aria nodded and looked to Sam who also nodded.

"I don't know. Even if I could—"

"You can, "she cut him off. "I've seen what you can do."

"True. But that don't mean I should. Sam, Aria, there's a lesson here that I've been trying to drill into that freakish Cro-Magnon skull's of yours."

"Lesson?" Sam spat out, huffing. "What lesson?"

"This obsession to save Dean? The way you both keep sacrificing yourselves for each other? Nothing good comes out of it. Just blood and pain. Dean's your weakness. And the bad guys know it, too. It's gonna be the death of you, Sam." He then looked at the tiny Argent girl, "And you, it goes for the same thing. You don't want to lose anybody else so you'll sacrifice yourself for those you love. Sometimes you just gotta let people go."

"He's my brother," Sam told him.

Aria pursed her lips, "why do you care about me or what I do for those I love?"

He shrugged, pursing his lips. "Like it or not, kiddos, this is what life's gonna be like without him."

"Please. Just—please," Aria begged. She doesn't care if she sounds like a broken record. She's not going to stand back and lose those she cares for when she knows she can change the outcome.

"I swear, it's like talking to a brick wall. Okay, look." He sighed heavily. "This all stopped being fun months ago. You're Travis Bickle in a skirt, pal. I'm over it."

"Meaning what?"

"Meaning that's for me to know and you to find out." He snapped his fingers.

ARIA WOKE UP with a jolt, hair long and luscious again, almost like that six months of dean being permanently dead never happened. But, it still happened. Those many deaths, the trouble and chaos Sam and her made just to get Dean back... that was never going to go away. She was going to have to leave with those memories for the rest of her life.

Ignoring the music, which was different than she expected, she jumped off of the bed and straight into Dean's arms where he was tugging on his shoes. She ignored his yell of surprise, she just buried her head into the crook of his neck, tightening her hole onto him to the point her knuckles were turning white.

She wasn't going to let him slip from her fingers this time.

No, never.

She was going to do everything in her power to make sure Dean Winchester never dies again.
