I decided to draw by hand this time- I generally prefer to draw this way over digital if I'm honest.

The Indominus rex. A whole new species, designed to be as appealing to the masses as possible. This attraction would surely increase the amount of visitors. For the past few years, their numbers had grown stale, though other parks were becoming more successful. The press had become rather excited by the prospect of the first feathered raptor (what was its name again? Delgado? Something that started with D. Didn't matter, they were all just called 'raptor' in their system anyway)- so, all they needed now was another major attraction which would become important in the news- for this reason, the Indominus sisters were being kept secret until closer to the time they will become available for public viewing.

Claire sighed, pursing her lips as she drove her car and watched the road vigilantly. She had just been at the lab, making sure that Dr Wu was doing a good job of watching over the eggs and trying to code the genetics of new species- and, lucky for her, the control room was not too far away.

Zara, her closest friend and assistant, sat next to her, unkempt black her falling around her shoulders. Her legs were crossed, and she was resting her arm on Claire's seat. The dark haired woman felt something tap her fingers- she turned, and saw Claire gesturing to her hand (without taking her eyes off the road, of course).

''Sorry,'' Zara smirked, and took it off Claire's seat. ''Christ, today has been so boring.''

''Hmm,'' Claire responded, and Zara raised an eyebrow. Claire had become rather professional after she was promoted into her job, yet Zara was one of the few people to know what Claire was really like. Most of the time, Claire acted very serious and aloof- to the point where it was causing familial issues. However, Zara could sometimes catch moments where Claire's true personality peered through the cracks. It certainly didn't help that they went to the same high school and university, so Zara knew Claire before this whole act emerged.

''Maybe you should finally give Logan a visit instead of constantly sending me,'' Zara chuckled. She noticed how Claire tried to look as if this did not affect her, but a small flush to her cheeks and the biting of her lip was a dead giveaway that she was somewhat annoyed.

''You know very well why I don't,'' Claire said, but the tiniest of smiles blossomed on her face. Zara grinned back as she was reminded of the fact that Claire was most true to herself when alone with Zara.

''Ah, c'mon,'' Zara wriggled her eyebrows. ''I bet you still have feelings for him after all these years.''

''I don't,'' Claire said, still smiling slightly. ''Of course I don't. It was one date at high school, that's all. Why do you keep bringing him up?''

''Because you used to keep going on and on about him. The only reason you didn't get a second date with him was because you randomly decided 'oh, oh, I messed up, OH' and got too scared to ask him out again.''

''That is not how it went down!'' Claire huffed.

''Except it was.''

''Okay, fine, maybe it was, but that was twelve years ago!''

''Then just go to him instead of sending me! It's not rocket science now, is it?''

Claire sighed, though the short silence after was followed by the two chuckling together. ''We're here,'' she said, parking her car and looking on to the impressive building that was the control centre.

After going inside the building and checking herself in, she took the elevator up to the control room. The moment the doors opened, she marched through with Zara by her side.

''How is everything with the Indominus rex?''

''All is running smoothly, Ms Dearing.''

Even after the fight between Blue and Echo, the sisters still got along together. Logan loved them all so much. They had grown quite a bit in the months he was working with them. While Echo never seemed to have gotten over the scar that disfigured her face, she and Blue were easier together than they were before. Blue had even grown more empathetic.

They were still as much of a pack as they were before, their sisterly bonds being unbreakable by any force in the world.
