John is a big piece of shit basically. He's rude, selfish, arrogant, and above all angry. It's rare to catch him in a generally "good" mood and it's even rarer to see him be nice. He's built barriers up around himself and the price for him was high. He lost most of his friends and became more reclusive. He doesn't talk to people much anymore, because they always end up disliking, or even hating, him. Little do they know, he doesn't always want to be alone.

Scenario #1: You were out with your friends at a party and you had noticed John before but dared not talk to him. As the night progressed, everyone got even more drunk and before you knew it multiple guys were approaching you with a malicious look in their eyes. Before they could reach you, John appeared by your side and told them to "Promptly fuck off." They appeared scared of him and left quite quickly. John looked down at you before turning around to walk off. You. . .

Scenario #2: You had seen John around town plenty of times, but everyone warned you away from him. Unfortunately for you, fate had other plans. You had just been kicked out by your parents and had no where to go. You dared not ask any friend for the fear of intruding on their daily lives. So instead, you wandered the streets hopelessly. You had been looking down at the ground when you bumped into Johnathan. He seemed to be as hopeless as you and he didn't bother being rude to you like you had been told he would. You. . .
