In a world where mythical creatures run the earth rampant, there must be ambassadors across species - and that honor has been bestowed upon Lyarlill. More so, she was born into the title, after her mother. It's a job that entails speech to the massive creatures, speaking in dragon tongue, acting as soother, and a bridge between species. It's true that ambassadors cross among many species, and it's no easy task for any creature. Every year they must meet at an ambassador's summit and mix their blood in the well the life, and after three days they drink the contents, sending them into excruciating pain for the next 3 days. It's all in the name of bonding, and keeping the world at peace. It's not by any means a glamorous job...some dragons are hostile toward the girl and humans in general, as are humans toward the magical beasts, and it's her job to quell the animosity between them as they fail to understand each other. It gives her a glimpse into the darker aspects of life, leaving her rather stoic, serious, well-mannered, and mature. She can't afford looking like a fool.

As is traditional for the dragon ambassador, she's arranged to wed the human realm's king to keep bloodlines pure. Though, this marriage is purely arranged, and it's hard to say if anything could ever blossom between the two. She has a handful of hand-maidens, one head-maiden, and a handful of guards, as well as one head guard. She can feel a bit coddled, preferring to go off on her own whenever she feels it necessary or needs a break. But unexpected wonders await - to say the behavior was always safe would be a bold faced lie...

lately, relations between dragons and humans has been stale, for lack of a better word. A looming battle has put a lot of stress on all ambassadors, but especially those of the dragon and human which include Lyarlill. She searches for an answer and a way to make peace, but it nearly seems impossible...

Your are a dragon-born who is fed up with the human realm as they encroach on territory and deplete resources, among being purely evil in your own eyes. You could end them, at least many of them, with your mighty strength and fiery breath before getting caught, and you would go to your grave happy, perhaps even look as a hero to some of your kind. Stumbling across the human - dragon ambassador, you decide that she might as well be first - that is, until she shows you a kindness that you've yet to experience from a human, and you're so moved, you decide to disguise yourself as human to aid her in her quest.
