Personality: He comes off as cold, icy cold, in everything he says and does. There is not a hint of emotion displayed on his face, he's quite stoic and it makes many uncomfortable in his presence because they can't read him. He is unreadable and often so good at masking his emotions, sometimes he masks his aches and pains, much to the dismay of his personal physician. He, at one time, was a bright and warm person to be around, smiling and happy, but that was when he knew your oc's mom, but when she died, he grew cold. He sometimes has a brash way of showing he cares, which is very rare, but he does and its hard to figure out. Most people don't think he's anything but a cold emperor that backs emotions and a heart, but that is not the truth. He simply has to learn to open his heart and love again, depend on someone else and learn how to be compassionate and protective over something precious and pure.

Backstory: He has the prefect life growing up, two loving parents. He had many fond memories, and looking back on them he wished they would have lasted longer. When he turned 20, his parents caught the plague that was sweeping the empire and the passed away, causing him to tale on the burden of ruling the Empire. Being young and unprepared, he had of have help from officials until he was able to handle matters on his own. When he met your ocs mom, it was love at first sight. He was smitten, much to the dismay of the officials. He spend much time with her, but unfortunately she left and he left heartbroken, vowing to very love again and became a cold-hearted individual.

Personality: She is quite protective of those she cares about, always doing her upmost best and going above and beyond what is necessary. She isn't afraid to take a stand against injustice and openly speak her mind even if it gets her killed or harmed. She's bold, but she does know when it hold her tongue, especially if it could mean those she cares about getting hurt. She's very protective of your oc, so overprotective that she would stand I front of danger or a blade just to ensure their safety. She is very sweet has a soft spot for your oc, she's quite motherly and even though your oc isn't her child, she treats her like her own. She's loyal to no end, especially to those who she cares about. She's trustworthy and is good at keeping secrets. She often talks to herself when she's alone, it's mostly so she keeps her sanity since the other maids stay away from her and don't talk to her because of your oc and who she is.

Backstory: She was left on the steps of a nunnery as a baby, growing up in a religious environment. As she grew up she earned for what was beyond the nunnery and when she turned eighteen she bid her farewells and left, only to be kidnapped and sold off to to the palace as a maid. Of course, it wasn't easy, especially with the cold emperor and his anger issues. She didn't know when or why, but she was shunned by everyone in the castle, being made to work alone without anyone speaking to her. She figured it was because she had been sold to the castle instead of getting a job of her own free will. It wasn't ideal but she was well fed, clothed, and had a place to sleep.
