They decided to keep it a secret so Faith wouldn't panic. Josefina shows Faith her relatives as she slowly craves for blood. Jacob shows his pack to he as Faith plays with the cub with the desire of hunting. Seeing her like this, Her parents told her the truth. She didn't panic, she was glad.
