Personality
A proud and strong warrior of a long forgotten race. Joe has a strong code of honour and will not fight the defenceless. He also never kills unless absolutely necessary.

Abilities
Joe has complete control over his body being able to dislocate or even break his own bones as well as flatten organs in order to achieve any form he desires. He can use this process to extend his bones into deadly blades which he deploys from his forearms is the most common use of this ability. He also has incredible endurance, strength and speed and the capacity to heal wounds through concentrating. Joe in particular is also capable of being able to perfectly recall his memories (with the exception of most of his pre hibernation experiences.

Backstory
Was found by archeologists frozen in rock and awakened when the X men triggered a trap whithin an ancient temple. It is presumed that he hails from an advanced civilisation that dates back to several thousand BC and inscriptions suggest that Joe was the child of a ruler of this civilisation, however he cannot recall anything of this, having some amnesia from being frozen for millenia.

Weaknesses

Joe's species is considerably weaker in colder climates, this is due to the high amount of metabolism in their bodies.

For the same reason as above, Joe must constantly consume biomass to retain his ability to control his body on a cellular level, or the ability weakens until it is no better than an average human.

Due to enhanced senses, Joe is more vulnerable to sudden changes in lighting, high intensity sonic waves and most gases.

Given his code of honour, Joe will not 'cheat' in any fight he is in, and will avoid attacking children and those who appear defenceless, putting him at a disadvantage against someone like mystique who can appear harmless.
