At the age of 4 her parents were killed by humans because of what they were.(Demon) Kurenai was taken care of by her older brother, Hide. After a couple of years,at the age of 10 her brother was also killed. There had been a shooting in the town they were in and he had took multiple bullets for her. They were simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. She has been surviving on her own for the past 7 years. Kurenai really doesn't like to open up to people after what has happened in her lifetime.
