Name: Joshua McAllens

Powers: Can speak to demons of varying power and intelligence.
Personality: Joshua is honestly just a very sweet guy. He's very kind and honest, and is so rarely in a bad mood. He gets along with people well and mainly likes everyone. He can be a bit socially inept and can let his mouth get ahead of his brain, but he usually manages to not offend people. Despite being a sweetheart, he's fairly responsible and resilient, and not easily hurt.
Appearance: Media. About 5'8 with decent muscles. He is usually covered in assorted scrapes and bruises, courtesy of his charges. Wears plain clothing.
Skills: He's pretty kind and compassionate, and knows how to take care of others. Although he may seem very disorganized, there is a certain order to him. Organized chaos. He's pretty responsible and doesn't procrastinate.
Flaws: He can be soft-hearted, which isn't always the best attribute when you take care of demons. He isn't particularly fast and can't fight at all, which can be a problem when dealing with more sophisticated demons.
Backstory: Joshua had a very simple life, all up until he turned around 17. He had always been able to talk to demons, as far as he knew, but had only ever been able to try it out on a small demon that lived in his city, and occasionally tolerated him. Turns out a person who could understand demons and not be a demon is pretty rare. Only angels or God-like creatures can understand them, but all of those people are a bit busy to keep smaller demons in line. So, an angel sought Joshua's help. If he kept a handful of smaller, less smart demons in line and out of trouble, he'd get an easy spot into heaven when he died. He honestly didn't have many big time plans for his life, and promise of paradise was a nice idea, so he accepted. He now takes care of 20 or so demons in a house in a large city.

Scenario: Late one night you were out for a walk in the park. It was a bit cold and the park was more or less empty, making for a nice night. You turned a corner of a hedge into a fountain courtyard... When a shadow jumped out of the bushes. It tackled you to the ground, snarling, it's paws pushing down on your chest. It looked like a giant dog... If the dog with pitch black fur, horns and blood red eyes... Somewhere you heard someone yell. "Helios, get over here right now!"
