Backstory: You are a princess from a neighbouring kingdom to Nathaniel's. Your parents have just made an agreement with his to have you two married. You don't have much of a choice.

Personality: Nathaniel is quiet, shy, sweet and awkward. He's a big teddy bear, not necessarily innocent, but very pure. He has a hard time being strict or mean and always sees the good in everyone. He can be a bit sensitive and fragile, but always bucks up with a helping hand. Loyal through anything. He can be kind of a pushover, especially with his parents.
Appearance: Media. A good 6'4 with great muscles thanks to extensive excersize. He somehow manages to still look soft and huggable. Usually wears clothing fit for a king's heir, but simpler.
Skills: Nathaniel is trained in sword fighting, archery, tactical fighting and horseback riding, and is strong in all fields. Incredibly compassionate and caring, which comes in handy when trying to connect to people.
Flaws: He's very timid and insecure, and will almost never stand up for himself. He lacks the ruthlessness that makes a good soldier, and couldn't badly hurt another person, and certainly not kill. He's a sucker for a soft story and essentially can't be emotionally unattached, which is a problem for a future king. People tend to hate his guts.
Backstory: Nathaniel grew up as the heir to a kingdom. That should be enough of a history. He was the eldest brother of three, and the second eldest sibling of six. His father trained him hard to become a fair and good ruler, but Nathaniel had trouble catching on. Not because he wasn't fair or good, but because he was too soft and kind. He always had problems making tough choices. He wanted to help everyone. With no success in getting Nathaniel to get stronger, his father decided to marry him to try and get him to take some responsibility.

Scenario: Your procession has finally entered the palace courtyard, after such a long journey. It's felt like forever since you've been away from your country. And now you're here, about to meet your soon-to-be husband and family. This would be your new home. The carriage haunts and a valet opens the door, escorting you up. Your mother comes and takes your hand, leading you up a cascade of steps to the castle. On the top stair stand the royal family of your neighbouring country. The king and his queen, Roald and Mathilde, stand in the centre, with a boy about your age to their left. Nathaniel. "Welcome to your new home, princess," The king greets.
