Prisoner (T)
-Note: The next 4 characters will be the last ones I post until all my open characters are taken, including the girl. I get you guys mostly like being girls, but cut me some slack.-
Type: Medieval Fantasy
Rp Backstory: There were two countries, Carthis and Dratis. They had a bloody history and one day a Dratisian official was assassinated by a Carthic man. This brought in a war which lasted 3 years, until Dratis eventually won. Carthis was absorbed and is now part of Dratis.
Name: Tristan Waits
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi
Species: Human
Powers: He can tell when a person is lying or hiding something and can see where magic has been used.
Personality: Tristan is humorous, sarcastic and usually light-hearted. He works with people amazingly and is usually quite charming. A bit of a lady-killer, tends to sleep around. He's loyal as a dog and will stand by a person through their whole life, though he is rarely honest. When he becomes angry he is distant, cold and has a grim sense of humor. He takes bullets for people and will lie to loved ones so they don't have to do anything hard or dangerous.
Appearance: Media. He is about 5'10 with lean muscles. He has a small curved scar above his left eyebrow and another curving from his left earlobe down his jawbone. He is currently thin from being underfed and looks a bit fragile.
Skills: He's fast, agile, and tricky. Tristan is a good fighter, although mostlt relying on dexterity and technique and not strength. He is a well accomplished pickpocket and thief, and is well accomplished at stealth. He will do anything for the people he loves.
Flaws: He can be too cocky about his skills, which tends to get him into trouble. He can be very vengeful, and tends to not listen to others if he thinks he is not right. Once he gets ab idea into his head, nothing will stop him.
Backstory: Tristan grew up in the capitol of Carthis. His father was a soldier in the army, meaning that when he came of age Tristan joined, too. He didn't do as well as his father did, having a lean build like his mother and not bulky muscle like his father. He tended to get into lots of trouble with his superiors, as he took a liking to fighting dirty and playing tricks on fellow soldiers. Eventually, his squad leader took him to the side and told him they were letting him go from the army... and got him a position under Carthis's spymaster. He slowly made his way up the ranks until he managed to become the second in command. After the war started he worked hard, sending out spies and gathering intel. When the war was won by Dratis, the spymaster was killed and Tristan, as the second in command, was taken captive and has been in prison ever since.
Other: Has a thick Carthic accent.
Requirements:
•Must be Dratisian
•Must have committed a crime
•Must sometimes disagree with Tristan. I hate it when in role plays the characters agree about everything and there is absolutely no conflict.
•Must be a few third party characters. I'm not going to be all the other people our characters meet.
Scenario:
You were just caught by the city guards. You made a stupid mistake while committing a crime and are now being dragged down the damp cobble steps into the castle dungeons. The cells you pass are covered in filth and grime, and look inescapable. Or it looks that way, since you can hardly see anything through the dim light cast by the wall torches. The guards finally stop at your cell, opening it and shoving you in hard. They lock the door, not even trying to chain you up, and leave. That's when you notice there, in the side of the cell, is Tristan, sitting on the ground with his arms chained above him, looking up at you. "Hey..."
