Rocco is misunderstood on so many levels, but for that simple face he might as well have no one but himself. Bottom line, he's god an attitude problem through and through, and some anger management issues to boot. Basically he's got a pretty big issue with authority, because why should anyone have the right to boss him around especially when it's the dumbest sh*t ever? He's the type that wants respect before he returns it, and if you don't...well hold on to your seat, because he's going to fight you every step of the way. He has little to no filter when he talks, he curses like a sailor as he sees fit, and he'll throw hands with anyone who wants to challenge him. He's a party guy, enjoying smokes and drinking as much as the next guy although he's cut back on his drinking a bit.

Alright, so pretty much is just seems as if Rocco is a total delinquent. And in a lot of ways, he definitely is. But if we're focusing on his stellar qualities, he's a really talented guy with an open world view. No dream is too far out there, you'll just have to stick it to a few *ssholes along the way. He's determined, innovative, fresh and clean, and thinks outside of the box when he needs to. He's got a hell of a lot of gusto and won't dare let someone else push him around without them getting what they have coming to them. He's expressive and creative, dynamic in his abilities, and can honestly be adorably cute when he really really wants to be. But he's got walls that are tough to break because he's pretty much just annoyed with everyone and everything.

As far as bad qualities, well, isn't it pretty self explanatory? He just can't let things go without getting out frustrations, and that could be breaking something or just generally freaking the f*ck out. Like, what is the point of public school? To teach people a bunch of crap that they're never going to use? Why bring kids to an art school and teach them a bunch of crap that has nothing to do with their art? Beyond his aggravation, he's standoffish, and intimidating. He can be pretty rude so watch out for that. He doesn't like to appear vulnerable so don't expect that to happen....he's boisterous, destructive, and a total punk rocker. Music is his escape from everything.

x Background x:

First of all, Rocco cannot stand that his past his so played out, cheesy and corny, and he doesn't like to be judged for it. Basically his dad was always a dead beat and never came around which no doubt has toyed with the guy's psyche and given him some serious abandonment issues. But guess what? Mommy wasn't so much better - her life consisted of drugs and alcohol, sleeping around, bring new guy after new guy around and expecting Rocco and his 3 other brothers to call him 'daddy'. Like hell. And watch daddy after daddy abuse mommy who always crawled back for more. Needless to say he was doomed to be a pretty screwed up individual and with hardly any emotional or parental support, and absolutely no guidance. He actually got into drinking and smoking with friends around 13 from the lack of boundaries set forth in the household. He would rather be anywhere than there sometimes and that meant passing out somewhere in a park after drinking a 5th.

What might be remarkable enough is that Rocco really wanted everything in his power to not befall the same fate as his father, who currently resides in some prison in Nevada. He doesn't want people to judge him for his old life, he wants to move on from it and show people that there's something more to him. Alas, it's a double edged sword, because simultaneously it's the thing that keeps him doing dumb stuff that he always wants to justify. What's wrong with, drinking occasionally? And why should some old dude in a tie and glasses be able to tell him what to do? It's unclear if he'll ever truly see the light. Ironically, after having enough of his behavior, his mother agreed to help him get into a boarding school of his choice and just turn his *ss over t someone else to deal with. Well, it happened to be the school of arts he was dreaming of. But his issues haven't gone away. No, his past and his problems are going to take a long, long time to heal, and only with the proper guidance here on out. 

x scenario 1 x:

Your character attends a boarding school with Rocco, and it turns out that they have several classes together. He's standoffish and seems cruel, but you can't help but to find yourself wondering about him, for better or for worse. Eventually, the two of you get paired for a history project together, and needless the say, it seems like only aggravation could possibly follow from here on out, given his reputation...
