Emerson is a very passionate person, especially when it comes to music. Music is able to calm her down in ways no human could. She has a special bond with it, an unbreakable one. Emerson has a hard time trusting people, and isn't always the nicest. Being screwed over didn't help her, and now she may come off as cold, rude, and skeptical. Emerson is protective of her younger sister, and the people she loves, which is very few. She is very pessimistic and always focuses on the wrong things. It will take a while to break down the walls she put up. She hates physical contact and will flinch away. Backstory:
Emerson grew up in a relatively normal house hold. She lived the first sixteen years in London before she moved to California for a foreign exchange. Her father and mother don't have the best connection with her anymore, but they love and support her. Emerson hated her old school since the incident
that made her the way she was. Her parents are hoping that this program will help her open up more.

/ 𝚈𝚘𝚞 / lived in a relatively nice home and your mother was just one of those moms who actively participates in the school community. She even signed up to hold a foreign exchange student in your home. Aka Emerson. Being told to act on your best behavior, it was your job to pick up Emerson from the airport.
