Lawrence is a giant that has been around for nearly one thousand years. Ever since he could think properly, he would use his giant abilities to get what he wanted from a nearby village, which - in the modern age - has evolved into the town. He demands to get whatever he wants, which the town naturally complies to, and one person to join him in his cave once every fifty years. There has been military attempts to take him down, but none have worked.
