Personality: Despite being relatively young, Lucian is quite jaded--he doesn't believe that there is any good left in the world and that the only way to survive is to be completely unfeeling. He doesn't necessarily succeed at that though. While he is impressively remorseless and never shows even a hint of happiness, he is angered quite easily and it's very obvious when he's upset. He takes this anger out on himself as well; he blames himself for any and all failures and has the tendency to be self-destructive, though he only ever allows himself to be seen during the "yelling and breaking things" portion of his frustrated outbursts. When he's not in one of his counterproductive rages, he's normally quite smug and condescending, which is the persona he tends to take on whenever he's around those he isn't familiar with.

Likes: He is sadistic to an extent; he's become so desensitized to the violence he carries out that he actually draws a bit of enjoyment out of it--he likes to share his suffering. He likes seeing justice served, and he likes drinking a little more than that; it's getting to be more than a small problem for him. He's also fond of cold weather. The times when it snows are the few occasions in which Lucian actually seems like a human being.

Dislikes: He hates not being in control of any given situation; anything that makes him feel powerless, he despises. Ironically, he dislikes corruption, and he's executed people in his own ranks because of it. The slave trade is his nemesis--he has a personal vendetta against it and he's known to be particularly merciless when it comes to dealing with people in that business.

Additional Notes: He only recently became the leader of the country, after a rebellion that had been going on for over a decade. The public doesn't actually know much about him either, just that he's quite terrifying when he's in one of his moods.
