"Hey, hey Inn,wake up" Jake said tapping me.

   I sat up as I woke up from my peaceful slumber.

  "We are here already? What's the time?" I asked Jake as I gave out a yawn

   "It's past 4" Jake said looking at his phone
  
  "Well I guess no school for today" I said feeling kinda relieved
 
  "Wait,isn't the whole town looking for me?' I asked Jake
  
  "Nope,the police concluded that you made a run for it after hitting Lisa so that is what everybody thinks right now" Jake explained

   "Oh" I said a little disappointed that they think i would run from my problem but I can't blame them since no one knows me well.

   "Jake,do you mind if I stay in your house,my aunt's gonna freak out and I am not ready for her drama right now" I lied,

  I'm sure aunt Maggie doesn't even notice I am gone maybe unless someone tells her.

   "Hun.... sure,my granny won't mind" Jake said as he started his car and we made our way to his Granny's house.

   We stopped at a big,old,mansion "Th-th-this is your Granny's house?" I asked stuttering but not because it was big but because of the rumors that the house was haunted and an old witch lived inside who feeds kills whoever goes in so no one and  
I mean no one goes near that house,besides it is kinda secluded from the main house.

   "Inn,are you okay?" He asked as I gulped done
 
"Yeah,I'm fine,just a little bit tired" I lied faking a yawn

  We entered the house and I expected to see cobwebs and spiders and all creepy stuff by it was in fact very pretty, there were flowers and roses everywhere with a fountain and she even has a little farm,how cute. Maybe the people of his town have a lot of superstition because the house is really lovely but from what I have learnt,don't talk too soon.

   Jake and I made our way into the sitting room and I gasp at the sight,it was filled with ancient stuff and it was well organized and really big too.

   "Lindy,is that you?" A voice called from a distance

   "Yes granny,it's me" Jake yelled back

   "Lindy?" I asked as I bursted into laughter

  "And I though my name was bad" I managed said in the middle of laughter

   "Shut it Indigo" he said calling me by my full name.

  "At least I'm not the one with the girl's name" I said sticky my tongue

  "You little........"

   "Lindy,you brought a friend and it's a girl" his granny said cutting Jake off from whatever he was going to say

   "Come here sweetheart",she said pulling me close as she examines every inch of me.

   "You have good eyes Lindy, she would make a good wife" Jake's grandma said

  "No!" Jake and I said at the same time as a blush crept up my face,this is the first time I was being complimented.

    "We aren't together ma'am" I explained smiling at the woman

   "No, that's is what they all say" she said shrugging 

  "And please call me Elizabeth" She said giving me smile.

   "I'm......"
   
   "She is Indigo,call her Gold" Jake said cutting me off a as I looked at him with weird eyes.

   "Okay now Lindy, can you take Gold to her room now,she looks tired and I will call you both down when dinner I ready'"she said smiling.

   "Yes! the name stick'' Jake cheered happily as he took me up he stairs.

   I couldn't help but notice as we climbed the flight of stairs at the ancient pictures hanged on he wall,I mean some of them goes way back to the 18th century and I'm sure they worth a lot,his family must be loaded,I thought, not that I care anyway.

   "You grandma looks pretty young" I said "like around 30"I added

   "Well,that's my grandma for you, she takes pretty good care off herself" he said shrugging it aside.

   "What's her age?"I asked curiously

   "Indigo Gold Blue,haven't you heard it's wrong to ask a lady for her age?"He said trying to form a strict face in which he failed miserably as we both bursted into laughter.

   "Well here,she is Jake" said as he opened the door to a room which is more than two of aunt Maggie's sitting room combined together,it was painted in black and red and it has a king size bedroom in one word,it was gorgeous!.
  
I moved forward to check the bathroom and boy could I sleep there,it was heavenly it had a bathtub shower and neatly arranged towel.

   I went to the room to find Jake sleeping on my...I mean on the bed so I sneaked an took a pillow and hit him with it and just like that we started a pillow fight and jumped on the bouncy bed and I took a long relaxing shower and after that Jake and I talked a little,small talks it was pretty comforting.
  
   Elizabeth called us for dinner and she kept on talking about her family history and how this house was over a hundred years old as how she plans to pass it down to Jake, it was really nice getting to here her talk about her family.

  I could see the way she lights up talking about them, I just wished I could talk about my own family someday like that.

   I thanked Elizabeth for dinner after I was done with my food which was great by the way and had to pull Jake's ear to the kitchen to do the dishes with me though he claimed there were maids to do it but I wasn't having any of that.

   After we were done with the plates,we put on the television and watched episodes of 'Stranger Things' while I dossed off.

Tomorrow is sure gonna be a stressful day having to face my crime and I need all the strength I can get.
